The host at the reception desk was a superstar. He asked how we were after travelling down and asked if we had eaten dinner. When we said we hadn't, he gave us directions and distances to several different eateries. He was very pleasant and accommodating. He even gave us a couple of free pens! The room itself was very clean and tidy, and the shower jet was nice and strong.

On the whole, everything was great. The only negative, and it's a small one, was that the bed was a little too soft and on wheels, which made getting in a little interesting!

Most polite & professional reception and cleaning staff. Good sheets, soft edge to mattress. Easy walk to enormous hotel offering excellent (non-pub type) food + Sunday evening popular live local band was playing/singing good music.

Bedside tables had globe lamp cut through top timber surface. Hard to find space even for a book or cup of coffee, and making it impossible to lay CPAP equipment (necessary for breathing) beside bed. CPAP had to be on floor where it was unreachable to turn on/off or to see the face which lights up to show data of sleep time/depth.

Staff at reception was awesome - very kind and helpful. Cozy room which was clean and had a comfy bed. Good location. Overall really enjoyed the stay. They were kind enough to extend our checkout by one hour as we had arrived late. thank you very much for that! Also a tip to other bookers - I noticed on check out that the staff put out cones to reserve parking for specific guests - perhaps you have to request it separately (we had to park in the last remaining spots near reception rather than near our room probably as we hadn't requested parking).

There was a tiny cockroach in the bathroom (extremely small, maybe the size of a grain of rice) - my partner is terrified of cockroaches but it was small enough that she didn't notice but it would have ruined her stay if she noticed (and also made the room feel a bit unclean). Since it was a tiny one it's probably a one off but just sharing my experience.

The room was clean and spacious. We asked for dishes and were given them very quickly. Parking was ample.

Wifi signal was very weak, perhaps because we were in the farthest room from the reception office. Found 1 cockroach in the bathroom during the night. Cigarette smoke from outside wafted into our room, so we had to push a wet towel under the door. Maybe some weatherstripping would have helped reduce the drafts.

Sue at reception was nothing short of fantastic. Ensuring the room was suitable for our needs as we were staying 3 nights. Room itself was clean and bed comfortable and the location was perfect for us as we enjoy Park Beach on one side and the Plaza on the other .. both in a 5 min walk distance!

Room facilities were adequate however it would need a facelift soon .. tiny bathroom, old fashioned shower curtain.

Amazing value for money, superbly clean and spacious rooms with very comfortable beds and bedding. Spacious bathroom with great hot water pressure. Pool looked lovely tho we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to go in. Staff were absolutely lovely. Would stay here again.

Would have been great if there were some plates and cutlery in the room.

We had a very comfortable stay. Marisa and Mark were very proactive with communications and gave us clear instructions for late check-in. The toiletries and tea/coffee provided in the room were very generous; I loved that they gave us a small bottle of milk. This motel will be my first preference for any future stopover at Coffs Harbour.

Having the parking slots numbered might be helpful.

We had a very comfortable stay, and the staff were very helpful. The decor is best described as 'retro', but there were many thoughtful and generous touches (e.g. a microwave and toaster) that made our stay pleasant. It was very quiet, but also close to the beach and to a major shopping centre. It was great value, and we will happily stay there again.

There was nothing we could suggest to improve.

A little worn, but clean and comfortable. Easy to get to and well located. Staff were friendly. Easy parking. Liked the microfibre blanket instead of a full doona on the bed, it was just right for the mild night.

The bed itself was a little noisy (squeaky springs) and shifted back off the wall quite easily when getting in or sitting up.

Welcoming staff and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and liked having it privately in our own room. Lovely clean and well equipped room. Was very grateful for the washing machine and tumble driers which meant we could catch up on washing. Location is very good within easy reach of the beaches.
