The option of having 2 separate bedrooms

No balcony so no fresh air No work space in kitchen Then lift did not work for the duration of our stay causing multiple stairs to get to our room TV - no internet connection. Could not access any of the channels we wanted. Local channels were intermittent. Reported this on day 1 and noting was done- same with the lift. No call back from staff. No room to move in the shower - tiny. Very noisy at night time from the bar below. No sign of the pool shown on the search when looking at the property.

It was a super central location for our weekend we had planned.The Honeysuckle Hotel nearby was fantastic for dinner.

We had a bit of hassle with the parking and myself and another guest chose to walk to get the parking sorted, and it was lucky the other lady knew where the office was located as being a visitor to the city I had no clue and the girl implied that I hadn’t booked for my parking and then realised it had actually been double booked from their end. My advice would be to double check your parking as it only a very small space.

The beds were comfortable. A sound sleep by all.

Air-conditioning had an issue, but rectified by management.

Appeared clean but noted spiderweb inside window, that clearly had been there ages, broken scissors=couldn't be used if required as handle was broken, broken hot water tap in shower= u could still use it but not safe. Wifi didn't work Most importantly missing fire alarm!

The apartment was a good size, well appointed, very comfortable bed, good shower, good location yet quiet. It was good having the key codes rather than having to carry around keys. Also it was great to have parking on site, which is a plus in Newcastle as a lot of the accommodation does not have this facility.

To enhance the apartment an extra chair would be good for the dining table, and the only other comment I would make was that the cushions on the sofa were a bit lumpy.

Very organised with check in etc. I had booked a car space and this was great also. Easy to find and easy to get into everything

It could have been a lot cleaner. There was dust behind the bedroom drawers and behind one was also a fork from the kitchen. The washing machine did not spin properly and did not empty the softner compartment. Had to spin separately. Great dryer but really no ventilation and the entire unit got damp because of it. No coffee table which was inconvenient. Dining table extremely wobbly.

We didn't know that secure car-parking was an additional $20 when we booked. It was too late by the time we were contacted by the property managers. There is no other available car-parking in the area. It was difficult to find the entry to the secure car-park. The code had not been sent through, so we had to contact the property managers and wait in a queue for the phone to be answered and a code emailed through.

Within walking distance to where we were attending for the night, we needed late check in & the staff over the phone were so helpful and kind. Text messages with detailed instructions on how to get there and find parking & room, was very impressed.

Can’t really give anything negative

Location was great, easy to walk everywhere and access everything that Newcastle has to offer. Very good facilities, everything one would need to be at home.

A little too loud on our 1st night (with kids) as we didn't realise a music festival was playing next door. Thankfully it finished early (10pm). Chanel 9s reception wasn't very good, so it made it hard to watch the NRL grandfinal.

The beds were really nice and the value for money was definitely there. All the amenities were provided and air conditioning being present was pleasant.

The floor did have a couple of stains and one of the walls did have some peeling paint because of a potential leak.
