Holiday Inn Sydney St Marys, an IHG Hotel

The location for us was perfect, a 20min drive daily, petrol station and McDonalds literally across the road. The hotel foyer was super cool on hot days, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast package sees you exit the foyer and go to one of the neighbouring sports club restaurants, only a very short stroll, food was tasty and as one would expect from. buffet style breakfast, mix of hot and cold foods, even takeaway hot drinks if you need one. The additional of a pool would make this venue great for long stays in Summer!

The air-conditioner in the room was very average, the fan seemed non existent and so it was a struggle to get to sleep most nights in a 6 night stay.

The staff above all were so friendly and welcoming. And super nice about extending my checkout time when I really needed it. The room was clean and the baby bassinet that was provided was great. I had to use a disability ilty access room because I needed to shower my daughter sitting and they kindly let me use the room.

I wasn't aware there were rooms with baths and this wasn't offered to me when I said I needed to bath my 7month old and why I needed the disability room. If it wa suffered to upgrade my room I would have happily paid the difference just for the bath. I unfortunately didn't seen the bath option when booking on booking.com when I filtered the search for baths. Downside to having the disability access room was that's its right outside the elevator and everyone comes out of the elevator so loud (regardless of the noise sign)

The Hotel was much nicer than expected. Extremely fresh and clean . Would stay again if the needs arise. All the staff i met were helpful and very polite. First impressions are so important this helps you to relax in an unknown space. Well done Holiday Inn St Marys.

Dreadful breakfast in the Club next door. We arrived before 9 and not much was left in the serving trays . Mushrooms looked like they had been in the tray a while and having a swim in liquid , luke warm hash browns and bacon not hot as should be. Only one choice of eggs. No fresh fruit left and only one pot of plain yoghurt. It was nice the the girl / woman that greeted us made us coffee.

I booked lastminute accommodation for me my partner and neice,. I was grateful the receptionist was very helpful and accommodating and so lovely. She made us feel welcomed and naturally very, welcoming and also had patience for me when I had a few blonde moments with my mastercard. I just want to also give so much gratitude, to the staff there even though it was overnight we loved the warmth of staff and also how friendly they were. Makes me and my partner miss Sydney, as we haven't been back in three years or basically since we moved and we miss the friendliness and warmth st marys has always had in general . We thankyou for the hospitality and also grateful for our overnight stay and how you were all kind and amazing.

So conveniently located to sights , malls and our families. Having the restaurants downstairs for breakfast lunch and dinners was amazing and so beautiful inside. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Our room WOW so comfortable , beautiful and the daily servicing we are so grateful. The view daily both day and night from our room was a treat and seeing the kangaroos outside such an experience.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. The choice of pillows was a very nice touch. Breakfast was nice, I had an omelette and coffee.

The food choices for dinner at the restaurants in the club were very average and not at all what I expect at a Holiday Inn. We were looking forward to an Italian meal and were very disappointed at the choices. The whole " temporary club membership" to get in to have dinner was a bit off-putting too.

I stay here often for work. It's always clean, quiet, nicely presented, and the staff are professional and courteous. Any small problems have always been sorted immediately and without fuss. There are multiple food options available from the club next door and a McDonald's drive through immediately across the road if needed.

Ideally there would be 24hr room service as I often arrive late and leave early. Room service starts at 0700 and they always bring the food bang on time but longer hours would be very helpful as I start work at 0730 and don't often get there until after 9pm, by which time they have closed kitchen. Therefore I often end up taking the less healthy but very convenient Maccas option across the street!

Most everything was good, my family and myself travel to the area frequently and always stay here

Allocated parking for the hotel would be good, couldn't park as the club next door was busy. The signs on the doors when I went out Said come back later or sorry it's a mess, should have one that says thanks but no thanks or not today, I didn't need my room fixed up but wasn't resting and it wasn't a mess just stayed the 2 nights and people came in and moved the pillows that I had left where I wanted them and made the bed when I was airing it for the day and had the blanket pulled back neatly.

The staff set the tone for a great 2 night stay.They were excellent, can't speak highly enough of the service provided. From booking on the phone, check in and the entire stay, first class. The bed, big and very comfortable. Great big shower with all the trimmings. 30m walk to leagues club, with 3 restaurants and buffet breakfast. Thanks for the great stay

Totally exceeded my expectations. Check in was quick & easy and staff very professional. Bed and pillows were excellent. Bathroom was large with a wonderful sized shower with great water pressure. The whole room was spotless. Very happy with my stay. I have already booked again for my future visit to St Mary's next March.
