Value Suites Penrith

Loved that there was a staff member to greet us eventhough we arrived around 10pm! Everywhere was clean, facilities in the room were well stocked and very accommodating (toaster, kettle, air con, tv, toiletries, double glazed windows/soundproofing, 2x tables, chairs, ironing board, hairdryer, great water pressure in the shower. And it was a very spacious room! Made for a very comfortable stay. Also looked really nice. Simple, clean, modern colour scheme and art, had a happy/neutral vibe.

Would have liked an extra towel or 2 in the room cupboard (eventhough it did have 2x large and 2x hand towels already). And I wish there had have been a foam or firm pillow available. And any sort of herbal tea option like peppermint, chamomile or green tea. Would have preferred dim warm lightbulbs in the lamps over the bright cool blue ones. Too bright for night time and early morning, but not a big deal.

The room was nice and large and very clean, had a small kitchenette with kettle toaster etc. The bed was on the softer side but still very comfortable. I had a ground floor room, and parking was nearly full but still was able to find a spot. There is a train line behind but you don't hear any trains (well I didn't) from inside the room

When you turn into the street it looks like 2 large car parks behind a fitness centre and some shops and in the distance there is a lighted sign saying Value Suites and a long driveway - as I arrived at 7pm in darkness it was a bit concerning and I couldn't read the sign from the carpark so nearly turned around. But on the other hand it means that the suites are a bit back from major road and therefore very quiet

We had a great stay at Value Suites. Naomi at Reception was very helpful when we had an issue with noise from a nearby room. She had no hesitation in moving us to another room & even upgrading us. This is great customer service. 👍 The unit was comfortable with great kitchen facilities. The bed was good, shower effective and air conditioner worked well. Great wifi too. Free parking (plenty of room). Very little external noise despite nearby station.

The local pub has a band until about 11-12 on a Thursday, Friday & Saturday night. Though the sound-proofing is good, sometimes the bass beat breaks through. We still slept though and it’s not Value Suites fault.

Last night had a lovely stay, checked out but decided to come back today. I booked a studio balcony room, a balcony which my feet do not even fit on. Why pay extra for a balcony room, when it is not a balcony. This room cost more than a room without a balcony however there is no point! Sitting in my room cranky as I was told there were no balcony rooms left however there are (they are just more expensive and I wasn't even offered to pay extra for one). The gentleman at the desk was lovely however the women on shift before him was rude.

A really nice 2-bedroom apartment, much bigger than I expected. The sofa lounge fit three people to sit on to watch the TV. Dining table and small kitchenette allowed us to cook our own meals using the Woolworths and Aldi just down the road. Kitchenette had a small electric cooktop and a microwave. Bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The smaller room had two single beds and a skylight that could be open or closed. Car park is behind a secure gate. A couple of small shops within walking distance, but much better if you have a car as Woolworths and Aldi are a short drive away.

The master bedroom had a sliding door out to the balcony but no screen. When the bedroom door was shut it was very stuffy, but if you opened the balcony door, you risked being eaten by mosquitos.

The room was large with a quiet air conditioner plenty of plates bowls etc small fridge and microwave good hot shower small table and chairs a one couch. Even though it was right next to the railway line and down the road from the pub with very loud music it was ok as the room was well insulated with a double window that we closed at night. Very good block out curtains to draw at night Staff friendly and helpful. A laundry for washing and drying clothes which was good after a couple of days on the road. Room was clean.

Bed was firm. There were stairs without a lift so if this doesn't suit you best to ask for a ground floor room.

parking space nearby updated design for room staff - Hamza was very wonderful and accommodating. He had a smile on his face and greeted me politely. Housekeeping girl was also very wonderful!

staff on checkout Dec22 10:50 am - middle-aged lady emerged from back office with right hand on her right hip, eyes looking rude (with a mask and 3-4meters away)- NO GREETING NOR SMILE. “hello, I’m checking out” “just put the card on the table. did you request late checkout?” “yes I did. I was told it’s okay until 11” “okay just put the card on the table” END OF CONVERSATION. just wow. first time I’ve experienced such a person in THIS LINE OF INDUSTRY. I also work at the front office of a hotel and that is no way to treat a guest. Please lecture her on how to offer good guest experience! She totally ruined my whole day! bathroom - a place to put our shampoo and conditioner so we don’t have to bend over to get it from the floor

I liked the room size, and it has all that I needed. The location's good because from there I could go everywhere. The internet is excellent, I didn't have any problem. I'll be back in two weeks. Thank you very much.

The place needs pest control, there were some cockroaches and spiders in the room. The bathrooms need attention, like shower and tap repair, the toilet seat also was loose.

The master bedroom was very cold (Sept 3rd). And there were no blankets provided for either room. When I asked reception for a blanket, the lady asked if I had the air-conditioning on. I said no. I had my sick baby in the master in a porta-cot and don't like air-conditioning running all night. Plus the air con system was out in the living area, again with a baby in the master, the door is closed so the heat wouldn't have reached the room. She grabbed me a blanket nonetheless. So it was fine. But having them on hand in the room would've been great.

Good location, within walking distance to a couple of dinner spots and 5 mins drive to Westfield shopping centre with near endless food choices inc. many GF options. The first unit we were shown to was a disgrace, we were quickly moved and upgraded thanks to the the manager on duty.

Right next to a train line but noise was barely noticeable. Car parking was great for small vehicles but tight and difficult to maunuver at times for a larger vehicle.
