Hawkesbury Race Club Motel

The room was quite large with cooking facilities, with cooking utensils supplied. The sitting room was comfortable with a large lounge and chair. Air conditioned with a large TV It was within walking distance to the Clarendon Hotel, which offered great meals and, of course, drinks. It was also within walking distance to the railway station, where you could travel to the city of Sydney or surrounding areas. The motel was near the Hawksbury Race Club circuit, and I can imagine this place would be very attractive to the punters.

There was nothing at all to complain about.

The room we booked was huge. We had a king bed, 2 tv's, two air cons and a kitchen. And despite the fact we were in trainspotters heaven near a train line, it was absolutely quiet at night. We thought this accomodation was great value for money, well looked after and the service top notch. We could cook our own breakfast in our kitchen and we had dinner in the nearby pub. The vibe was lovely and leafy, we stayed for 2 nights and could have stayed longer. Much as we love the Crowne Plaza Hotel , this is our new go to.

unfortunately, the hallway had been painted with a very toxic oil based paint and the external doors left closed .The fumes were really bad in the hallway and also in our room. so much so I became sick . we had to call the out of hours manager who was lovely and moved us to the other block . they then ensured the doors were pinned open to let the fumes out. I did have to leave a day early however as the fumes set off my asthma . a refund for the last day wasn't offered . which I felt should of been. however I really like the motel and it's the first time I've had an issue so will still definitely come back I'm sure they realised their mistake with the paint and they were very kind.

Room was spacious with all the necessary features. I use a microwave for heat bags. Many motels that I have stayed at no longer have microwave facilities. Having an allocated parking spot is ideal (with free parking). I have been forced to pay for parking at other locations and did not even have a guaranteed parking spot - I will not go back to those motels.

The shower screen over the bathtub. Unfortunately it is very difficult to avoid getting water on the floor. This in turn creates the possibility of a slip hazard.

One of the best motels we have stayed in. Having a lift was an added bonus as I was in Windsor for health reasons which made it so convenient for getting to our room. It was great that the Hotel was just across the railway line at Clarendon for meals. Look forward to our future booking in December. Highly recommend The Hawkesbury Race Club Motel for future travellers's. Rooms are excellent, so roomy, clean and peaceful. To finalise the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Could NOT find a fault with our stay.

This place was amazing! So comfortable and clean. I checked in after hours, such an easy process. Looks beautiful and the property is well kept. The room itself is soundproof for outside noise, which is great because it’s on the train line, didn’t hear any outside noise.

Although it’s soundproof for outside noise, you can hear any noise in the hallway - which was annoying at 6am when there were kids talking, yelling and crying in the hallway.

The staff were exceptional. Had slight water outages because of some drunk yobbo messing with the mains but despite that the staff did their utmost to ensure we were comfortable and knew what was happening. Fantastic job

Only minor issue is room 22 has a funny smell in the room. You noticed it when you walked in but wasn't a big issue just thought I'd mention it. In all other regards it was perfect for a weekend get away.

Everything was clean and tidy and the room was a lovely size. We were worried about the close proximity to the railway station and train line but we didn't ever even hear a train from our room. Our coffee, tea and biscuits were replenished and my daughter was thrilled.

The pillows were a bit too hard for my liking. (I usually bring my own but had forgotten) We were unsuccessful in using the WiFi even after many attempts to connect. Very disappointing! Everything else was fine.

Beds were amazingly comfortable. The rooms were large and TV channels selection was vast. Great self-contained units where you could heat up and keep meals if you want. Wi-Fi was very good as well.

I would have liked a dedicated work area but made do with the round table supplied. Always prefer a cooked breakfast, so a bit disappointed with the continental self-serve breakfast. It was a bit noisy with the train and Richmond Airforce across the road. But not too bad.

Quiet location, equipped kitchenettes, comfy beds and spacious living room.. Good sized pool for kids to spend hours. Shops were just a drive away. Convenient in everyways.

Nothing from the motel We had Big noises from other guest next door till 2am. Front office told me next morning that we could have rang 'black phone' located outside the office to let the security know to handle the problem by the motel. Just a good tip to know.=)
