Country Motor Inn

It's spacious and clean. we have a lounge room, and two spacious bedrooms, one with a queen and one with 3 single beds. The kids were happy as they can sleep in the same room and they said the bed was very comfy. We also found it was very comfortable, with a medium hard and good quality mattress. It's located next to the Singleton shopping village, and 25min drive from Hunter Valley Garden. It's not a bother for me as the price is very competitive and the two-bedroom motel is a rare find, and one night's good sleep is worth it all. They also had a kitchen and my friend cooked us toast when we got up. That's lovely:) They also had a swimming pool, but we didn't have time to dip in. All in all, it went beyond our expectations for a motel.

Simple tidy room with basic expected amenities, incl fridge, kettle, toaster, mugs, wine glasses, tea spoon, cookies. Had a fold out from wall table which was great to do some work or eat on. Late check in time allowable. Decent check out time 10am.

The KETTLE is cheap and needed to be scrubbed properly inside as there was organgy grime build up. Ewwe. Also it would have been nice to have a couple water glasses (not just wine glasses in the fridge), couple tea towels for wiping up, a couple small plates and basic cutlery (knife, fork, tablespoon), otherwise where am I going to put place the toast or food that I'm eating and what am I to use to eat with? Also the heater didn't work properly. But there were extra blankets. And I'm not sure if it was possible to fully close the windows as they were either stuck and need some TLC or had a permant space/crack open in how they're designed.

I liked the comfortable bed. I enjoyed the hot water. It was reasonably quiet in the room where I stayed.

It would have been nice to have some crockery to eat off. The light was bright outside, I know it’s for safety reasons to be on, but it seemed bright, even with the blind down. There was not much room even for the kettle though.

The water pressure in the shower was awesome!!! the water temperature was fantastic. Bed comfy. plenty of space in room. You could open the window (i like that). Had vending machines on premises. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Walls very thin. (But no rowdy people) Internal phone didn't work (So couldn't contact reception, not a deal breaker though).

I was upgraded to a room and had a discounted price. There was a mixed up with my booking date and the staff were very helpful and lovely. I was stressed out as it turned they have no vacant room left that day too but they made adjustments. It’s near restaurant/ fast foods. very convenient location, actually right next to KFC.

The location was good ,the shower had great water pressure,it was reasonable to quiet,the sun was good in the morning to have a cuppa,the man(caretaker)was very polite the rest of the staff seemed to be happy .

I liked having a microwave in the room as I arrived later than check in and shops were shut. I liked the hot water in the shower and the comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful when I arrived and couldn’t find the number to get my key out of safe.

At this stage I can’t think of anything I disliked.

clean room bed was abit hard but managable overall enjoyed our stay great friendly staff with a bubbly personality amazing to be able to check in after closing hours as well we had just driven 12 hours and 45 minutes on arrival we had checked in staff was abit late however they did aplogise and was given a free beer.

it was a two bedroom family room with TVs in each room. the shower pressure was great. it was very clean. The staff were very accomodating and friendly.

There wasn’t any power points near the bed. I had to go to reception and ask for an extension lead, which they provided with no problems.

From our key collection to departure everything was very well done. I would recommend this motel for an overnight stay inSingleton. The room was exceptionally clean and the hot water and shower were very good. We only needed a clean room comfortable bed and hot shower band that is what we got. Thank you.
