Location was incredibly amazing, center, center, center. The lady at the front desk (skinny, blond and tall lady, I’m sorry don’t remember her name) was extremely helpful and nice as well as the other staff members but the way the front desk representative addressed customer care was outstanding. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. comfortable bed. Minibar was fully stocked and cheap.

Weird they didn’t have a iron in the room, trying to iron my shirt and was unable to. It was shame because it’s an easy fix to improve customers experience. There’s no extra electrical outlets to charge the devices the only way to Connect your devices was unplugging one of the lights. Also an easy fix.

Location was great - could walk to most of the sights and very close to 2 metro stations if need. Although it's on Graben (a main pedestrian street), you could not hear any street noise from inside the hotel. Friendly staff and quick check-in. Comfortable bed and nice new bathroom with hot shower and toiletries provided. Clean throughout. Working AC and complimentary drinking water in room. Felt safe travelling as a solo female.

A bit difficult to find initially...Tip - if you are walking along Graben from Stephansplatz metro/St Stephen's Cathedral then it is on the left as you come to the end of the street (you will see the Louis Vuitton shop ahead). There is a sign on the building that says Pension Nossek. It seems the building is shared with other businesses so once you go in, you need to buzz for entry to the hotel. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor which is where reception is located (otherwise there are lots of stairs to climb!).

Excellent location and lovely classic hotel. As a female solo traveler, I felt safe here. Would recommend to others.

We stayed at this hotel for six nights and both the hotel itself and the location were for us top rate. We have stayed in similar old hotels, happily different to the major chain hotels. We loved many things about this property. The staff were amazing-especially on the front desk. The breakfasts had enough variety of food to get us started for the day. The room and bed were both of a very big offering. The location was central to so many tourist sites, restaurants, cafes and pubs. I had a whole pile of washing and enquired about nearby laundromats. The front office staff advised they had a Laundry service. They said they might be able to have it done that day or the next morning. My washing was washed and dried and brought to my room two and a half hours later. It was a big pile of washing and all done for about ten euros! Very cheap and saved me the hassle of going to a laundromat! This was amazing customer service. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Great value for money. Fantastic location and lovely staff!! Thank you!!

Nothing to list on the property of what I didn't like. A dream stay!!!!

The hotel is in a superb location, and it can easily be reached from the airport: a 16 minute train ride (14 Euros) and two metro stops take you right to Graben street, about 200 meters from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the saff the most hospitable I have met in a long time; they make you feel like a friend and go out of their way to help you. Breakfast is served relatively early (7 AM) and is good, accompanied by classical music. The WiFi is good.

Laptop users would probably appreciate a table or desk to work on their computer, while TV watchers would find the screen small (about 75 cm for a viewing distance of four meters). But then who goes to Vienna to watch TV; there are so many things to see and do.

Great hotel in the dead center of Vienna with very friendly and helpfull staff. From here you can visit most of Vienna on foot while still having a resting place nearby Room options are good. We had 2 double rooms which were spacious and well maintained. It had airconditong. Bathrooms were really adequate. Breakfast is complete enough (although not very elaborate compared to other hotels) to have a good start of your day. The overall atmosphere is very historic and well preserved throughout the rooms and common areas. This hotel fits just fine in the overall setting of Vienna. I highly recommend this place when visiting Vienna. Check with them if you come by car, they have a "50% off" deal with a nearby parking garage. Paying full price in Vienna is really expensive so this makes it reachable for most budgets.

Location was perfect, room was a good size with very comfortable bed, and sensible windows that you could open. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast time worked hard to look after everyone, and there were always wheat free bread and almond milk available to cater to my wife's allergies.

It was unfortunate that building work was going on in the Graben while we were staying, and they started work too early. This is of course not the Nossek's fault at all, but perhaps they could speak to the City Council or some similar authority to ensure this does not start too early in the morning. I feel 8 a.m. is acceptable to visitors on holiday, but not earlier.

Sofia and Katarina and the nice guy who adjusted the air conditioning were very gracious and kind at the reception desk. Katarina went WAY above and beyond for me when I was having troubles with my train ticket the day of checkout and had to depart early. She calmed me down, offered me breakfast and was SO VERY VERY kind and non judgmental. She sent me off smiling and made the rest of my travel day stress-free. I will never forget her. It’s the people, not the facilities that really make the trip so memorable. Thanks so very much.

The air conditioning didn’t work consistently in our room but in fairness to them, the weather was extremely hot.

Superbly situated in the very centre of Vienna, extremely close to Saint Stephen’s Cathedral. Very easy access to the subway system. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Very comfortable room with very helpful staff. Access to reception was not available at night but there was easy access to the hotel via a key. Staff on reception were extremely helpful with recommendations for obtaining a taxi to the airport in the early hours of the morning which worked very well.

The breakfast was excellent, but the breakfast room itself was a bit cramped.

Pension Nossek is on Graben, in the heart of Vienna city centre. It's an Art Deco style property with many lovely features. We loved its proximity to venues such as the Spanish Riding School and St Stephansdom. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the dining room staff polite and attentive. I loved being able to practise my limited German!

One of our two rooms was large, sunny and light, with a wooden floor, high ceiling and fresh bathroom. The other was dark, old-fashioned, and in need of an update, particularly the bathroom. We didn't like booking two twin rooms, then being given two doubles at opposite ends of the building. Some of the bathroom fittings needed a really good cleaning, such as the curly cable on the hairdryer, and the toilet in the older room. Pension Nossek would really benefit from a tea/coffee machine in the salon, if guests can't have a kettle in each room.
