Great choices for breakfast. The location was very central and quiet. Close to many restaurants and shops. Within walking distance of many sights and the area is completely flat.

The mini bar was just a fridge with water and coke !!! You could not regulate the heat in the room easily.

The hotel is kind of old fashioned grandeur but I loved it. GREAT location, right in the center of town. A short walk to museums, opera house, major churches, Demel, Hofburg, Hofgarten, and a 4 minute walk to subway station at St. Stephen's which goes easily to train station and then to airport, OR take a bus to St. Stephen's station that stops almost in front of hotel and runs frequently. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was pleasant. Staff were very nice. The bed was a little firm for me but it was 2 doubles together and I used the 2nd duvet underneath me as cushion. Large elevator and wide stairs. Very comfy armchair. Mini fridge. Blackout curtains which I used to control outside heat during the day as well as light at night.

Bed was a little firm but I dealt with it. A hotel in the center of town isn't cheap but I think Petrtschy was worth the money.

I loved the hotel because it was different. It wasn’t at all what I expected. A bit quirky I suppose, and decor older than I thought but spotlessly clean. There is a lift. The staff were fabulous. As an example, on my last day just minutes before leaving my room to check out, I sent an email to reception asking if they would kindly print out an attached document for me. I wasn’t expecting this to be done immediately and was prepared for a wait but when I arrived in reception it had already been done. I kid you not, not 10 minutes lapsed between sending my email and me arriving in reception to check out. A big thank you for this. I also liked that guests handed key into reception when went out for the day - one less thing to think about and misplace. Very very short walk to shops and restaurants and various visitors attraction. Breakfast was delightful in a lovely little dining room with white tablecloths. There was no restaurant and no tea/coffee making facilities in rooms but guests could help themselves to tea and coffee at any time. I often did this on my way to my room at night. I would recommend this hotel. I would indeed stay here again if I visit Vienna.

I can’t say there was anything I didn’t like, but the floor sloped a bit so our beds did too. We looked at the funny side of this. And no, we did not role out!!

Location was fabulous right in the heart of Vienna and close to Spanish Riding School, the reason for our visit. The breakfast was excellent with a buffet style continental and cooked breakfast. The building was fabulous, an old palace of the Habsburg era, with sweeping stone staircases, (as well as a modern lift), inner courtyard and oodles of character.

Limited due to its age with accessibility aids in any of the rooms. Travelling with an 89yr old mother who needs mobility aids, so a little challenging but we managed, just. Slightly expensive for what we got in the room ie would have expected proper tea and coffee making facilities and quality shampoo and conditioner.

the location is spectacular—in the heart of vienna, walk to everything. the rooms are large, high-ceilinged, super-clean. breakfasts are generous and varied. staff helpful and friendly. all in all, a wonderful place to stay!

tiny criticisms—would have liked higher quality toiletries and a full length mirror in room. and next time, make sure room overlooks quiet Habsburgergasse (just clip-clopping horses), not noisy Bräunerstrasse.

The location was perfect! The breakfast was delicious, giving us a taste of fabulous cakes and all we needed to start our day. The room was big, and you could say, "it is old", but not in the sense of being not cared for. I would say it is with a lot of charm and antiques. I loved having the old ceramic oven in the bedroom, and it was something we were puzzled about and made us research and understand! The bed was huge! I think around the super king size!

It was a bit hot day (around 23 Celsius), and the room didn't have air-con or a fan. To be honest, we didn't check for these features, and neither asked the hotel for a fan. It wasn't very hot, but a bit hot, leaving the window open the day, and closing only at the time to sleep was enough. Only 2 pillows for 2 people, I would expect at least extra pillows in the room. Again, I didn't ask the hotels for more, but still, I would expect more pillows.

I loved the vibe of my room! Perfect size for a solo traveler! Really went beyond my expectation! Honestly, so lovely! Supeer clean, fresh and smells good even the multi shower gel/shampoo! Really worth the money I paid for! Good location. Lovely staff! Good breakfast options and they even have a hot drink dispenser for free! Beautiful! Very classic design!! Lovely!! Hot water perfectly working! Such a quality for what I paid for!!!

The shower was a bit noisy but not a big deal for me!! Apart from that, I LOVED EVERYTHING!

Location. The hotel is in the Innerstadt and close to all sights of interest.

We arrived with a car. The parking Tiefgarage Kaertnerstrasse we've been directed to costs 40 EUR per day. If you validate your ticket at the reception of hotel you get the discounted price of 34 EUR. However for some reason we couldn't find this particular parking and by chance left the car in nearby Kaertner ring garage. We payed only 12 EUR for 24 hours. I accept this as a scam of the hotel - I escaped their trap and I hope future guests read this post and save money on parking.

The staff were smiling and helpful. They responded well to our request for a kettle, milk and teacups so that we could make tea in our room. They also mended the coffee machine. The bedroom was spacious and well furnished. The mattresses were excellent. The location, halfway between the Hofberg and the Graben, was ideal. The breakfasts were excellent.

There was no radio in the bedroom and the TV showed only Austrian programmes. Even in the foyer, the TV could not show other programmes.
