DO&CO Hotel Vienna

location, excellent and super supportive and friendly staff, awesome view from the roof top and from the restaurant, spacious room and good equipment, good and high speed internet connection. I also highly recommend the restaurant in the hotel, I am not big, but very tasty: the chef and staff are above all praise.

rooms with windows overlooking the garden, do not have access to fresh air, because the window and door from the room open onto the balcony and fire escape, there is no way to open the window and enjoy the clean and cool air of Austria, also the television did not work in our room, but we were not upset and used the Internet on our device

Location location location ! But that said, the staff were excellent and consistently so patient and polite ! My room overlooked the city side , which I strongly recommend over the ‘ wall facing side’. . You could sit there for hours and watch the city go by and not to mention - their Japanese restaurant Onyx was the best Japanese I have had in awhile . I really cannot fault anything but just a note to be mindful of - the bathrooms are very fancy and modern ‘open concept’ type where the shower area doesn’t close off completely.

You could not ask for a better location. It's located right on Stephansplatz, great for experiencing the vibrant city and going walkabout. Our room was quite small, but comfy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was offered, but we decided to go and eat at different places every day. Aida across the road serves a great breakfast. The staff is really helpful and gave great advice on local dining places. We truly loved our stay and already booked to get back there.

I will check for a bigger room, but honestly, everything was great.

The hotel is situated right in the city centre, which is perfect for sightseeing, shopping and dining or visiting a classical concert. The hotel serves a good, but expensive breakfast. I can't say anything about the lunch or dinner, since their restaurant was constantly fully booked. We were staying here from the 24th till 27th December, which could be the reason.

The hotel room was really hot. We turned the air conditioning down and had to sleep with the windows open (in December)...I was also dissapointed that the hotel didn't have at least one table for the hotel guests, which we could get for a quick lunch or dinner (in the period from 24th till 26th December). We wanted to make a small celebration for a birthday, but were unlucky.

The checkin in the 6th floor needs to get used to. The receptionists are very professional. The rest of the staff very helpful. The room was cleaned and "updated" every time we were away, which was a very pleasant surprise.

The staff in the bar (only accessible for hotel residents if you only want a drink was somewhat stressed / unattentive / unfriendly. Although the venue is very good, the price seems a bit high though.

Fantastic location, great view from the quiet room 405, wonderful breakfast experience, good adherence to COVID protocol overall.

(Poor) One guy who did both the valet parking and luggage. Need extra shutters to cover both the toilet and shower. Difficult to unload and load luggages ( must cross the busy pedestrian area and commercial street). Room needs some touch up or renovation.

My comment will be more about the management of the hotel than the accommodation itself. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff told me that there was a reservation problem and that I would not be able to stay at the DO&CO - however, the hotel had booked and paid for a room in a hotel of the same standard, located a few dozen metres away. The staff at the DO&CO were very warm, reassuring and kind, inviting me to dinner that evening at a table with a great view of St Stephen's Cathedral. While I cannot comment on the quality of the rooms, I would like to thank the staff very much for their hospitality. I will be back.

The location is right at the centre of Vienna by St Stephan’s cathedral and our room overlooked the square. Beds comfortable, quite funky design but room spacious. Note: Our room had 2 steps between bathroom and bed area. All the staff very helpful, ate twice in the restaurant on 7th floor which was excellent. It was easy to walk on the wide traffic free sidewalks to all the main attractions. Highly recommend this hotel.

Shower needs a sliding door as difficult to open.

Superb location, right over the road from St. Stephens and the main shopping street of Vienna, yet the room was quiet. Good mattress and bedclothes. Wonderful staff, two excellent restaurants with wonderful views. Step out of hotel and turn left into elevators going into subway.

In the 80s or 90s there was a tendency toward dim, nightclub like hotels, hated it then and hate it now. Corridors are gloomy and I would have preferred brighter lighting in the room. I also didn’t like two minbars in the room and rows of alcohol as a wall feature. No recovering alcoholic could stay here and I felt it detracted from an otherwise very nice room and good hotel experience.
