Mamaison Hotel Riverside Prague

we absolutely loved the newly refurbished interior of our room, it’s implacable cleanliness, amenities, the most central location in Prague, boutique hotel ambience.

unfortunately service was way below 5 star hotel standards… what is the point to book here if you can get gorgeous apartment on Airbnb… seriously?? lack of staff in general, and those who were available needs to be trained, be more knowledgeable about hotel facilities, need to have general product knowledge, need to know how to handle cash transactions. we’ve been double charged for breakfast. there was no concierge or bell boy to assist us with luggage (same for arrival and departure day). no valet. Chargeable and limited outdoor self parking. no in-room service. Bedding set up was done for three persons, but tea/coffee amenities only for two persons.

The newly renovated rooms were really nice, spacious and clean.

Though the rooms were very minimalistic and clean, it's almost too minimalistic. The only bin we had in the room was a small pedal bin in the bathroom. I feel like there should have been at least another bin in the bedroom. Though the rooms are advertised as soundproof, we could hear everything from the hallway, in particular people talking and slamming doors. We also had an issue with our safe where the previous user left it locked and the front desk said they had to refer the issue to another team. No one resolved the issue during the time of our stay.

Rooms were exceptional. The suite and the room for my (adult aged) children had an interconnecting door which opened into the sitting area of the suite. It couldn’t have been better. And the view over the river and castle/cathedral and old town was amazing. On the first night we were greeted with a chilled bottle of the local sparkling wine, with a very friendly smile. I think it was complimentary. And very welcome in view of our late arrival. The rooms were excellent, bright and welcoming with very well appointed bathrooms. In all, exceptionally good value for money and made our holiday in Prague an excellent experience.

It was further to the old town than expected but it was worth it for the high quality of the hotel at an affordable price.

Room was a great size with lovely view, room was very comfy, and quiet to the noise on the streets. Breakfast was very varied and to our taste. Location was good for us as we liked the stroll into the centre of Prague.

On one morning we had no hot water due to a hotel fault ( which I appreciate could happen from time to time ) . On the same day our room was not fully tidied/ replenished as cushions still on bedroom floor? and no bath towels were left? ( Can only think it had something to do with the hot water problem ?? )

Nice room as in photos. Bigger than expected. Good view. Location is wonderful to walk at day near the center. No noise at night. Bath and shower. Quieter lift than expected. Don't recommend rooms near the lift if you're sensitive.

Cleaning is not good. Spots on the most stuff. Results of day to day cleaning are not noticed. Prices in minibar are higher than you can expect. Shower is old and need recover. Breakfast looks simple and well as regular for hotels. The place for the breakfast is in the basement. There's a big room to eat with the window to small garden.

We travel often and have quite high expectations of hotels, but this one was really good. Very friendly staff, amazing location, kind of easy parking. The room was quite clean for a hotel, I must say! The bathroom seems to have recently been renovated and was really clean! Nice room, I liked the seating area and just the amenities in general. Breakfast was nice and tasty. Overall a great and comfortable experience even for someone like me with high expectations.

Could have had little bottles of cosmetics instead of the big ones especially because there was not a shower gel for bath bubbles.

I absolutely loved our stay, the hotel, the staff and the cleanliness was wonderful. Thanks so much to the staff for making this an easy surprise gift from me to my partner. The online bookings team were quick to respond, really helpful, staff on arrival and when leaving were very friendly and attentive, which made our trip extra special so thank you to you all and for the wonderful room and planned birthday surprise. We will definitely be back to stay at this hotel again when visiting Prague and recommending to others.

The air con wouldn’t go lower than 20 degrees so we opened a window which wasn’t too bad but you did get the noise of traffic outside.

The staff were polite and proffesonal, they did not rush through the check in experience and instead worked with us to find the best room. The room itself which was one of the newly refurbished rooms on the 4th floor and was decorated and maintend to a high standard. All the linnen and bedding was fresh and clean as was the entire room. The water pressure was also good in the bathroom. Despite being next to the road closing the windows completely elimated the road noise. The beds were comforatable with a medium level of softness.

During the check in expereince we were meant to get a welcome drink, unfortinately it had ran out but we were told we could drop by at any time to get it. We did not really mind this which seemed fair enough, however whenever we went to get the drink there was always a queue at the desk so we never ended up having it. This is not the end of the world though it was just a glass of champagne. The room was quite warm, stuck on 23,6 degrees which could not be adjusted, in the end the staff had to turn the heat off to the room completely, even then it remained warm so we were forced to open the window and put up with the road noise. This is the only complaint I have, everything else was great.

We visited Mamaison Riverside for 3 nights for my boyfriends birthday. I cannot speak any more highly of the hotel, and the staff. Particularly Pavla in reservations. I emailed prior to our arrival for her help in making our stay extra special. She was so attentive and couldn’t have done more for us if she tried. On arrival we were greeted and taken to our room with balloons, birthday cake and champagne! It was a beautiful touch to our stay, as well as a room upgrade. The staff couldn’t be more attentive, nothing was too much to ask. I had some flowers in my room we had brought with us, when we returned to our room they were put in a vase for us. They thought of everything. Our room was exceptionally clean, as was the rest of the hotel. I would 100% recommended this hotel and will be visiting again.

- the room and bathroom were quite big and both were overall very clean, nice tub - the room was very quiet, as well as the immediate area, however the river, restaurants, shops, bars and nice areas/sights in walking distance, barely used public transport - one of the most comfortable hotel beds i have slept in :) - helpful and friendly staff

- toilet paper, no shampoo/conditioner provided - some parts of the room were really dusty - no daily refill of tea/sugar - the shower situation in the tub is a bit impractical, rain shower was too weak
