Hermitage Hotel Prague

We absolutely loved this hotel 💕. From the minute we booked, the hotel staff were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them both before we arrived and whilst we were there. I would particularly like to thank the Receptionists for all their help. They also booked our taxis to and from the airport at a very reasonable price. The hotel is beautifully decorated and in a fabulous location near the river. It was very cheap and easy to get into the centre. Our room was big and modern with a lovely bathroom and a huge comfortable bed and the breakfast was really good. I would also like to say a huge thank you to the hotel for the surprise birthday cake and fizz we found in our room on our return from a day out. This really made my birthday very special and was much appreciated 💗. This hotel is fantastic value for money and we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Prague and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to this beautiful city.

The hotel was amazing, clean, stuff really helpful. We choose it because we read great reviews about the breakfast and this was important for us. And it did not disappoint, breakfast was great, lots of variety: from scrambled/boiled eggs, to English breakfast, to European sweet breakfast (croissants, pastry) to everything you would need.

I wouldn’t say we did not like the location because that’s good for people that are ok to do long walks. For us it was great, because we did everything on foot, the walking distance to city center was around 20-30min, but there is also tram station very close to the hotel, for those that prefer it. Just be mindful that you have to walk a little bit to the center.

Spotless room and great breakfast included in Booking.com rate. Located approx 2 mile from main attractions but we strolled daily down the riverbank into the old Town and Lesser Town. The tram stop is a few minutes walk away from the hotel so it is easy to navigate the city. We preferred the walk as there are many boats converted to bars/ eateries and coffee shops along the river and you also get time to take in the surroundings and amazing architecture. Prague feels a very safe relaxed city despite being busy. It's simply stunning and there are many historical sites, galleries, bars restaurants etc. Something for everyone. Not expensive compared to other capital cities. We loved the experience and will definitely visit again.

Nothing really! If I'm being picky, then an iron in the room for convenience! Irons are available to borrow from Housekeeping. Overall, a really good stay at a great price.

Hermitage Hotel is located about 15 minutes by foot from the old town and the main tourist attractions of Prague. It could be considered a benefit as the area surrounding the hotel is very calm and quiet, but it's easy to get to the hustle and bustle. The rooms were in good condition, the staff was professional and the hotel's bar and restaurant is a decent choice both for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast includes everything that you'd reasonably expect from a hotel. Make sure to try the potato pancakes! There's a LIDL pretty close to the hotel for basic necessities. The river is a short walk away - we loved going to the nearby ice cream shop Puro Gelato and eating it at a bench by the water (which is riddled by cozy boat restaurants). Since the hotel is located near the intersection of the river and the railway, it's easy to find your way back even without the help of Google Maps. We stayed for 6 nights and the room was properly cleaned every day.

The hotel is high end and great value for money. It smells so good (like a spa) and has a gorgeous foyer that has the wow factor. Bar is open till 11 and the staff are friendly and make lovely drinks. The location itself is about 15 mins from the old town however there is a tram stop 2 minute walk away and the Ubers were really cheap so we managed well. On our last day we explored the local area and walked up to the nearby church at the top of the hill and visited local cafes. Lots of options at the breakfast buffet. Highly recommend this hotel, we stayed for 3 nights and would go back again.

Pillows were lumpy and shower made a very loud noise due to the pressure

The room was pretty standard (forgot to take pictures, but you can look at Booking.com). The window was to the backyard and it was really quiet and the thick door was also helping with that. The breakfast was great. Nothing special regarding variety, but all products were fresh and the staff were adding more if something was running out. Cool design of the lobby depicting old printing houses with excerpts from different famous newspapers. Location pretty okay considering the price. 2-3 km to the central square and close to Vysehrad with a beautiful church. A m ust visit place for those who love churches.

Wi-Fi coverage was average and not so fast. Maybe because of the location of the apartment, but it was pretty standard in the middle of the corridor. For me it was enough to google some stuff for the next day. The main disappointment was the ventilation sound which cannot be disabled. You will be hearing it even if the conditioning is off. It's not loud but distinctive and may impact the quality of sleep. We were extremely tired, so it wasn't such a big problem, but annoying.

Fabulous! This hotel was amazing. Firstly, can I say thank you for going the extra mile with my partner for his birthday. We were surprised on our return to our room to see a a bottle of bubbles and cake had been left for him for his birthday. It went down well! :D <3 The bar staff from Tuesday and Wednesday evening were lovely as were the breakfast staff throughout our stay too. Our room was extremely spacious and very clean. I especially loved the shower - powerful! There were a lot of scrumptious options for breakfast. My partner was happy they had a gym, which he found to be a great little treasure. There is double glazing in the room, which blocks out the noise of the tram/trains as well as blackout curtains for a perfect night's sleep. :) Location: perfect! Not too far to walk to be close to the old\new town. For times when we didn't want to eat much for dinner, we used the little convenient store (Tesco) around the corner (literally a minute or two walk). On the whole, a great experience had all around.

The breakfast was fabulous. The gym was spacious. Everything was extremely clean and felt luxurious. The stuff was extremely helpful, especially Eliska who helped us to get a standard room with a bath which was well appreciated. The location was great, just 7 mins on tram to the city centre or a nice 20 mins walk alongside by the river Vltava which offeres spectacular scenery so we didn't mind at all! Overall, brilliant stay worth the money.

The mattress was comfortable but I would add an extra topper. Also two extra pillows in the room would be great, but we got them immediately after request.

The hotel is pretty new, the room are nice clean all equipment like coffe machine, etc, was in the room. Daily cleaned the room, and fill back the coffe capsule. In the night was very quiet the room, and can do very darks, HVAC was extrem quiet so can be sleep really long.

Everithing was perfect, some smal thing what i personally recomend, but non of tham important. Maybe one wine botle oppener not just beer buttle opener is usable. One of the pillow can be softer all of them was harder a bit.

The room met my needs. This was a last minute booking, after the other accommodations my friend had booked turned out to be disappointing. The Hermitage was reasonably priced and gave me a free room upgrade, with a terrace. The bed was comfortable, as was the air conditioning, and the room was perfectly suited to meet my last minute needs.

I didn't love the location of the hotel. It is not exactly in walking distance of the major sites in Prague, but I was able to get to those taking trams. Also, I missed the breakfast window by 30 minutes and there was no way to order any food until evening, which isn't great for a hotel. I had to find a neighbourhood bakery on short time for a sandwich and coffee.
