Occidental Praha Five

The location is great. Very close to the subway station Andel and from there just a few minutes to the city center. It's also very conveniently placed if you want to drive further to Brno. The hotel is very well maintained, the room was very clean and the sound proofing is probably the best I ever encountered. The breakfast was good and the staff in the restaurant was moving extremely fast, as there were two big groups of tourists at the same time. Front desk service was great, everything went very smooth.

It's definitely worth investing in an Internet solution for each floor. Current architecture is not so great.

The room was comfy, clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent! Location is within walking distance of a commercial area and the main sights. I recommend going to the vegan restaurant 'pastva' nearby, it was the highlight of our trip!

Sauna has to be reserved at least a day in advance, especially in the evening, and essential oils can't be used in it. No real possibility to relax after the sauna (only some fancy chairs, which make nonsense when you're sweaty), so the wellness area was a bit underwhelming.

Location is very good and near to main metro station (Andel station is few minutes walk only) and bus station is close with 5 minutes walk too. You can reach any place in Prague using these stations including the airport (by bus no 191) City center and other attractions are 3 and 4 stops only by train Smichy mall is 1o minutes walk only many shops, cafes and restaurants are just few minutes walk Staff are really friendly Room size is very good i recommend this hotel for everyone

nothing really but if you can provide Hotel Slippers and Robe in the room it would be really good

Good breakfasts. Clean room. Friendly staff. When checking into the hotel, we received a room for three people (mother, father, son) with one large bed :( But after a request, the problem was solved. We changed the room to a 2+1 bed

The water in the sink did not drain (room 422) Hotel parking places were occupied. Nice large room with coffee/tea set. view was not to good but it was quiet. the beds were OK, not great but definnitly not bad. Breakfast was good, lot's to choose from and the quality was excellent. big plus was the parking although it was a bit expensive. location was very nice, only 5 min form the metro station. There's a hairdryer, minibar and 4 chairs Personnel was friendly

The restaurant was not too good, food was a bit tasteless and "strange". We've had 2 main courses but I would not recommend it. the room looked clean but there were a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling en above the bed

The hotel is very well located - 5 min walks from the Subway station, or ~15 mins walk from the Andel part of the city, where you can grab a breakfast, or lunch and you are already in the city center. Nice & comfort rooms. The bed was good (a bit more soft).

I did not understand why the hotel wanted me to do the checkin online in advance, when we had to repeat it on the day of arrival in person (so the check in was not that quick). The wifi especially in the evening hours was not that responsive (definitely insufficient when you need to work).

We did not stay for too long - just 1 night. But from our experience all was very good. Decent size of room, big comfy bed, modern bathroom, all very clean.

The young lady called Alba (i think) whom I was doing check-in with seems to be a bit off. Not sure if it was her first week or so, but she did the usual stuff during check-in and never gave me the basic info such as "your room is in the third floor, the lifts are that way" (it was not that straight-forward) or "Wi-fi password is not needed as it's open connection." However, this is not something that would discourage me from staying in this hotel, just a pure observation and maybe something to improve.

Nice, modern and well equipped room. Nice view. Very good breakfast. Close to the metro station (Anděl, approx. 300 m from the hotel).

The number of parking spaces in the garage is very limited and a reservation is not possible. I asked for the parking space during check in and I was told that there is an available parking space in the garage. However, when I drove into the garage, there was actually no free space, because somebody parked there just before me (although I checked in before them). They should improve the system how they manage the parking spaces. Luckily there was another parking possibility nearby (guarded outside parking).

Absolutely EVERYTHING!! What an amazing stay. - bedroom very spa ious and comfortable - good hard bed Plenty of storage space - choice of pillows - feather or foam - beautiful feather duvet - not to heavy, not to light - awesome new, clean bathroom - well thought out into great details. Si.ple things like hooks for wet towels, heated towel rail, pleanty of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner Breakfast was fantastic, massive choice for everyone. We have stayed in so many hotels in Prague iver the years, i never want to stay anywhere else. OCCIDENTAL we love you!!!

1 minor thing was there is no plug in the bathroom sink, so shaving manually was a little harder, but no major issue

The location of the hotel was extremely convenient. It was less than 5 minutes from the subway/metro, bringing you to Prague's city centre within 3 stops. Housekeeping was superb, rooms were cleaned daily. The staff was very helpful and handled all questions or requests in seconds or minutes.

Hard to say. Check-in took a little longer than expected and we were given a twin room instead of double bed room as requested. However, we returned to reception and got this fixed in less than 10 minutes.
