MOSAIC HOUSE Design Hotel

The sauna was great and private so no worry about strangers. You can just relax. They have a personalized welcome note in the room when you arrive. You are even given free drink tokens (Prosecco or coke products) but hey, who would argue with a free drink! Staff are super friendly even when I was very confused and had to call the front desk multiple times. They did not get annoyed but just told me to take my time and they were happy to help. Location is very close to 90 percent of attractions so you can walk without need for a cab.

My only hang up was that we stayed for 4 days and did not receive fresh towels on any day. They just rehung the same two towels. I want to save the planet too but after a rainy night, I don't want to reuse the same towel that was used to dry rain water off of my body. We didn't know we had to request. Just be sure to ask front desk if you need them changed.

The location of the this hotel is perfect if you want to visit Prague by foot. You can walk from the main train station to the hotel and from hotel to the most important touristic attractions. If you don't feel like walking, there are more tram stations in the near and there are good connection everywhere. Overall a very nice.

The breakfast was good, but the variaty of food could be larger. It was a little cold in the room for January. It looks like they set the temperature centralized in the hotel, but if you complain at reception, they will adjust the temperature. The prices they practice for Sauna and Wellness are very high, in my opinion. 2 hours in the private spa (there is no option for "non-private" spa), will cost you more than the price you paid for a night with breakfast.

The next time we visit Prague, we will be staying here again. It was simply one of the best experiences we've had. The staff are amazing! They deserve so much credit for making guests feel comfortable and seen. The breakfast was big. I'm picky about my breakfast and I have nothing but praise for the efforts they put into serving such a big selection. I'd recommend going earlier than later. It gets busy! The atmosphere is well curated. You want to read a boo? There's a nook. Play some chess or do some work? There's a spot calling your name. We also reserved the private sauna and it was everything we needed and so relaxing. The room looked exactly like the photo. No surprises other than the fact that it was just as nice as it seemed. It was clean, modern, and the location is great. There are several delicious places to eat just outside it's doors. Public transport is just a stroll away. Everything about this experience was easy, which allowed us to really focus on enjoying our vacation. We stayed for 6 nights in one of the double rooms. I highly recommend it.

I wish I could have stayed longer.

Our room had a spacious bed, desk, and beautiful bathroom with shampoo and soap (which smelled amazing!). It seems that the showers have handicap access. I'm not handicapped, but I thought that was a great touch. The room is well decorated and I appreciated the decorations depicting Emil Zátopek (famous Czech long-distance runner), such a thoughtful way of incorporating Czech history and culture into design. The bar in the lobby has an assortment of pastries, snacks, and drinks. I'm a big fan of Únětické so I was glad to see it on tap in the bar/cafe. They also offered us each one complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival. Staff were very pleasant and spoke English very well. But I must say... one of the best parts for me were the pillows on our room. These were the most unbelievably comfortable pillows I've ever slept on in my life. I took a picture of the manufacturer's tag just so I can buy some for my own home. That's how comfortable they were. Great stay with convenient access to tram lines, historical sites, and cafes/restaurants!

This was our third stay in Mosaic Guest House. The Hotel really features a cosy atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The room is clean and the minibar is equipped. Also fresh water is offered regulary. Also I would like to highlight the breakfast which offers a basic european standard but various other dishes you would not expect!

This time, we got a room to the backyard which was more quiet related to noise from the street but unfortunattly there was much more noise coming from the rooms next to us and above. Also there have been some slight technical issues in the room we mentioned to the reception. The service was very good but there should be a pre-arrival check to all offered equipment.

The check in was easy and the lady was super nice, spoke English, explained the amenities and breakfast. She helped us with our questions over our 4 day stay. This hotel was in a great location and within walking distance to all of the Christmas markets, sights and easy transportation. Prague is a beautiful city and the Mosaic House is another true gem this city offers. Spacious rooms, beautiful decor, comfy beds, wonderful toiletries and spa like bathroom and impressive rain shower will make you want to stay longer. Great price, too. Congrats to the owner and fabulous staff for making our visit so memorable. We will be back. Thank you.

Location was great, cafe was good with great cakes/drinks. Staff were mostly good/helpful. Room was reasonable size. Beds were comfortable. Shower was great. We also used the Spa one of the days and it was small but good.

Only two issues: Room was extremely warm (24 degrees), info sheet in room said temperature could be lowered by reception, reception said it couldn't be lowered. We tried turning it off, opening the window for most of the evening but it was still fairly uncomfortable for sleeping. Friends managed to get their temperature lowered. If you're from a warm climate you probably won't care. The bathroom strangely has a completely transparent top and bottom panel which means the toilet is in full view depending on where you are in the room - not the best design choice :).

The location, the staff (in general, with few exclusions), the comfort & design, temperature inside the hotel, even the private SPA - everything was just right. We loved the hotel and will definitely choose it again when coming back to Prague.

It was a negative surprise to realize that the fresh room bottle water is just a tap water: it has the same light chlorine taste as you taste it from the tap. I understand that's somewhat cheaper, but after trying same bottles and same water at the SPA, it was clear that some of the same bottles are filled with mineral water, and some (the ones in the rooms) - tap water. Not a big deal, but it could have been different in that case.

Mosaic House Design Hotel is in a great location; a short walk from the bustle of Old Town and walking distance to most everything we wanted to do in Prague. The room was clean and cute and the beds were really comfy. The lobby was super cosy and festive, and it was nice to hang out in the evening, have a drink and some dessert. We also really liked the private sauna and couples massage on our last evening as well, it was super relaxing and a great space.

Breakfast could be more organized - possibly offer some time slots so guests aren't all trying to arrive at the same time.

2 things - i didnt want the cleaning coming to my room so i gave the dont disturb sign. in some hotels they used to put small basket with basic staff that could be missing in front of the door. that would be nice :) 2nd thing - they charged me twice for breakfast. i asked to return the money immediately. we exchange 2 mails and they confimed they will return it as it was some mistake
