Holiday Inn Prague, an IHG Hotel

it was next to the conference centre and close to the metro so everything was accessible. although it’s not near the old town, you can walk, or take the metro which is super quick. also some nice restaurants in walking distance. also nice to be in a quieter part of Prague

I personally liked being away from the tourist area in the evening, but if you want to stay in the thick of things, this probably isn’t for you. The renovations were a bit noisy, but once finished it will be really nice

Hotel accessibility is great, the location is convenient for travelers who want easy access to the highway and who want to avoid driving through the center of the city. Rooms are okay, look clean and amenities are standard for an international hotel chain.

It's not necessarily a dislike, but I'd prefer if the breakfast buffet offered more lean foods options. They already offer scrambled eggs/sunny side up, but I couldn't find a regular boiled egg or a cottage cheese (even if just in a standard store-bought packaging). Other than that, the daily parking fee is a little pricey and it would be nice to get a slight discount on that if you're staying the night at the hotel.

The room was lovely and the location terrific. Clean and comfortable. Lovely freshly cooked omlettes available for breakfast.

It was dangerous getting into the shower, as you had to step into a very high bath. The shower leaked water at the side, getting the floor very wet and making it even more slippy. Also the breakfast was supposed to accommodate for coeliacs (gluten-free). But nothing was labelled - we had to ask about everything, and there was very little choice of cereals or bread available (gluten-free).

Very convenient for the conference centre. The room is quite small but you get a decent work station, good wifi and I like that the windows open so you don't need the aircon. It is very clean. They give you a fridge and there are convenience stores very close.

I found the bed quite uncomfortable (was staying in a twin room) and back was sore after two nights. Bathroom is tiny and towels rather small. I also don't understand hotels that say leave your towels on a hook and we won't change them (too save laundry/planet etc) and then change them anyway. Final bug bear is that they have external, decorative, bright lights that stay on all night without black out blinds - turn them off at midnight please.

I love the renovation, the hotel was in an amazing state, fresh, 2022 standards and in amazing location. I was surprised positively, last time stayed in a similar business hotel on the opposite side of the road and was afraid that is the same but was completely the opposite. I really really wish that the hotel will stay as is for the upcoming years. The personnel was awesome, due to AC issues they offered a voucher for a drink in their restaurant. The garden with a wine was worth it.

Nothing, I just hope will stay in this state for very long time.

We had a great and comfortable stay. It was decorated well for the festive season. The hotel and service was welcoming and better than expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly even during the busy festive days.

The only thing that was below expectations was the fitness center.

Our room was very large, very comfortable and very clean - which was great because I ended up getting sick and spent a lot of time in there! The breakfast buffet was good - had lots of options. My friends and I booked separately but the staff were able to move our rooms around so we could be close to each other which was a nice touch. Fresh cold water in reception was a bonus.

The location is a bit out of town so we had to get taxis/uber to most places.

We loved the location. It is next to the park and 1.5 blocks from our daughter's apartment. It was just more comfortable to stay with her a few nights and then move over to the Holiday Inn. So convenient and the staff was wonderful. loved how close it is to the Metro. Safe area. Near a police station and mini markets, etc.

Comfortable bed and pillows for sleeping well. Quiet and comfortable. The room has everything what need and large bottles of cosmetics. Fresh design and renovation of the hotel. Delicious and varied breakfast. Quick check-in. High quality room cleaning.

Parking: far to go (there was a whole quest) to the underground parking and expensive payment

the metro is under construction so it doest work at this time so we needed to go with a tram and then walk 15min The parking is 20€ per night
