Plus Prague Hostel

I highly recommend Plus Prague, the staff is super friendly, special thanks to Mike at the reception who welcomed us and garanteed we get the best experience. The room is spacious , clean and very tidy. The facilities are also very fun and you get to use the gym or the swimming pool whenever you want, which is great when you go back to relax after a long day of sight seeing. It is very close to public transport that takes you literally everywhere. My husband and I enjoyed our stay there and I recommend it :)

Staff were friendly and there were good facilities. Overall it was a good place to stay

There were a lot of large groups there while I was staying, some of them for bucks parties, who behaved quite inappropriately (for example walking around nude, or being very drunk and leering at me and saying weird things). This isn’t really the hostel’s fault but I think there is a risk of this if you accept bucks party reservations. Anyway, I didn’t really feel comfortable here as a solo female traveller

1. Very friendly and helpful staff. 2. You can swim and sauna for free during the stay and right after check out. 3. Has common area for eating, reheating food. 4. Has vending machine. 5. Spacious elevator. 6. Spacious and decently clean room for 4 people. 7. Decent distance from nearest tram station (about 5 mins walk).

1. No trash bin, tissue and tooth brush cups in the shower room. 2. Charging sockets located behind the desk drawer which were hard to reach. 3. The vending machine and deposits accept only cash.

Very nice room and hostel, not expensive at all ! I highly recommend it for individual travellers.

Cleaning wasn't done every day so when I arrived the bathroom had been a little dirty from the others who had arrived before me, but that's a detail. The pool was under renovation, but the sauna worked, although I didn't use it.

It has beer available for 60-70 crowns! There is a indoor pool but it is very cold. There is a large seating area that you can hang out and drink at and talk to many people! The location is only a 45 minute walk from the central bus stop (flixbus) and you can grab a tram to right near the hostel (15 minutes from the central bus terminal). There is on site parking for cars too. The 4 person dorm has a private shower and bathroom. There is onsite laundry.

They only have one microwave and a very used hot water marker. No hot plates, no real kitchen. There are no usb charger ports, so you need to have a European charger plug with you. The rooms don’t have any usb power ports, nor is there a usb charger station in the common area. The lack of a kitchen area is a huge negative. They need to replace the hot water maker as it looked not the cleanest. There is no refrigeration on site, so you have to buy your meals daily from one of the nearby stores. If they were to invest in a refrigerator, a better microwave this would be great. They do have sandwiches from vending machines along with soda and beers. There is a daily breakfast but it is very simple.

- Nicely located hostel with an easy access to the public transport (good link with the airport or main train station), - a few shops around to buy necessities, - helpful and kind reception staff, - comfortable beds and spacious lockers in the room, - also separate shower and toilet in the room, - small, free swimming pool and sauna (great place), to relax after a long walking day, - also gym area (but I didn’t use) - common area to socialize, - lift (very useful) and laundromats.

- no kitchen or any facility to prepare a meal, - only one small kettle and microwave in a common space, but not even a table or shelves to use it properly, - some stayers very noisy and not respectful to the quiet time (not really hostel’s fault),

it’s cheap and it’s clean, all you need to have for an accommodation on budget. it has microwave & electric water kettle which you can use in the common area. free luggage storage before and after check in/out time. free swimming pool & sauna! (there is gym too but for the gym you have to pay). young travelers so made some friends here!! and the bathroom is inside each room so that was nice and clean.

the room didn’t look the same. they actually have some bunk beds and some single beds in the dormitory. and they didn’t assign you to a specific bed, just gave you the room and the first one to check in can choose the bed. of course if you were the last, which unfortunately that was me, you would end up in the least favorite bed. it was a single bed directly in front of the door with no charging station and no bed lamp (the other beds have it). that sucks. i have to charge my phone in the other bed.

Close to Tram (5 min walk), (Metro C is 10 min walk or 1 tram stop) No street noise UNLIKE most hostels. Quiet place. Nice park nearby Pool and Suana...which hostel will provide ? Big rooms. Comfy beds but missing bed side charging port.

Missing bed side charging port. This is bare minimum necessity as we are live on cell phones.. If you provide curtains for privacy, you will be the best hostel in Prague.

A real backpackers vibe you will encounter in Plus Prague. The place offers lots of facilities, including a fun indoor swimming pool and a gym. It is only 15-20 minutes by tram to the city center and in the neighboorhood there are plenty shops and restaurants. We could park our car on a secured parking area, next to the local police office and behind the hostel. I have never parked safer. Our family room was spacious and well-equipped, including an ensuite bathroom and separate toilet. All in all a very nice experience

Plus Prague closed the indoor swimming pool for a couple of days without any information beforehand. "Maintenance", was what the reception staff told us, which feels wrong during the absolute high season.

We stayed at a 8 bed dorm and it was spacious. The lockers were big enough for large bags (we had 40 liter backpacks and there's plenty of space left, there were shelves to put more stuff as well). There was a shower room and a WC in our room so if someone was taking shower we could use the WC at the same time. There were outlets beside each bed. The location is far from the center but you have trams and metro close by. There were also some cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.

The billiard table is really close to the tables in common room so sometimes is difficult to make some plays. The common room could also be cleaner (part of it is the guests fault, but the staff could be more attentive) The restaurant/bar could be better. Side note: since the common room is quite small, we found it a little weird during the dinner time how there were children dining next to a table with young guys doing their pre-game with vodka.
