Clean and comfortable room and beds, cheerful colours and the location near metro stops. There are many restaurants just around the corner. Automatic check in machines were a nice thing to use. The lockers are beside your bed and can be locked/unlocked with your key card. Storing in lockers before/after your stay in separate lockers is automated but costs €3/hour

For the price, it did not had any amenities, not even soap in the washroom.

What I liked most about the hostel is the cleanliness and its price ,There is privacy in the bed, which is good. A room has two toilets and two showers, which is very good

what caught my attention is a problem with the shower, where water leaks from the shower into the room, which is a frequent occurrence in all rooms.

Hostel with fully automated check-in and check-out, so you don't bother the staff. Stylish and spacious common space (no kitchen, but microwaves). Easy to get to Paris: underground is 10 minutes by foot.

The shower couldn't fully close, so the water from it sometimes leaked to the room.

Its super clean and the staff is so nice!

The late check in - I could only check in after 16:00, which is so uncomfortable, the Kitchen - that there isn’t free hot water, no cups, dishes! and also that after you check out - you can’t leave your luggage for free until the rest of the day! you have to pay, and its 1 euro each hour

I felt safe staying here for a week as a solo female traveller. It’s 10 mins walk from port d’italie metro station and the area appears to be some sort of Chinatown. Very busy area and felt safe.The privacy curtains were fantastic. Very trendy decor.

Be prepared to take 40 mins to travel into central Paris due to how long the walk + metro takes but I felt it was good value for money. I would still stay here again for the price. Mattress could have been a bit better - sagged a bit in the middle. Staff members were slightly obstructive - for some reason the bathroom in the lobby was permanently closed and the staff member made a fuss about me using the other bathroom upstairs after I checked out. Water leaked on to the floor in the bathroom because the door was not properly designed.

great location, very helpful staff, innovated beds and very practical to recharge your mobile or whatever needed without even needing a charger. you only need a usb cable. and you can pin your clothes and have your kind of private space within the bed.

the room of 6 beds wasn't ventilated for 5 days! it smells awful and unbearable. i understand it's a dormitory of 6 but it was never ventilated and the smell is disgusting, same smell all week!

Very modern hostel, quiet and safe although slightly outside of the ring, close to the bus station and metro line 7. Short walk to the china town where has lots of Asian restaurants. Digital check-in, bed is allocated by the system, in case of needing help, staff is there 24h to help. All the facilities are new, the lounge is comfortable and has many sockets. It has serval functional areas. I stayed in the 6-bed female dorm, very spacious and clean. Personalised things are available on each bed, like light, charging station, towel hanger, small mirror, and two small net bags to keep personal belongings. When climbing up to the upper bed, there is no noise from the bed. Each bed has curtain and a big locker, locker is locked by the room card, so no need to bring own padlock. This is so far the best hostel I visited, will definitely come back.

Nothing. There is no handwashing or soap in the bathroom, which is quite normal in the hostel. Was worried about bathroom flooding from other reviewers, this doesn’t happen in my room.

The facilities are really great for a hostel. The bad is really comfortable with multiple shelves, lighting options and charging ports. The separate bathroom and toilet in the common room is really nice. No need to bring your own padlock as you can close your cubby with you room key. The location is not central, but it is really easy to get there by a buss from city centre in about 30 minutes. The area fells safe with a bunch of restaurants open till very late and there is a friendly security guy at the door at night.

It is not a youth hostel great for hanging out and meeting new people (and it doesn't position itself that way). There is no kitchen, even no kettle. You can buy coffee, snacks or amenities such as forks/spoons in a machine. However, I had multiple troubles with these machines. There is a meeting area, but is not really cozy and popular with the guests.

Location — incredibly easy to access via the metro and also within walking distance of Notre Dame and the Jardins de plants Downstairs reception area was excellent. High speed wifi to do work, lots of working spaces, good sized (and plenty of) lockers where I left my suitcase during the morning while exploring the city Check in is fairly swift on the machine as you enter too I'm an intermediate French speaker but staff were friendly and receptive and spoke back to me in French too! Were helpful when I had issues with my key in the room

Only issue was shower room had a lock on the door, so at times only one person would be using it (and a free shower) and the other was inaccessible. I understand people would like their privacy of course

The Auberge is a short walk away from the station, very easy to get to and find. Staff was super helpful upon arrival, I was walked through the registration process to obtain a room card - you will need further help to unlock your locker next to your bed. Then the room was fairly large with 3 bunk beds (not the old type), very stable and with lights and plugs near the head, and a privacy curtain. Shower room and toilets were clean. Do bear in mind that towels and soap and shampoo are not included but can be bought (borrowed for the towel, don't forget to return it before your check-out) for about 3 Euro something. A breakfast can also be ordered for 3.50, if convenient, else you will find many bakeries in Paris for a more luxurious experience. Check-out was incredibly fast.

The only downside was in fact the noise due to loud bikers showing off their babies at random times and a few guests who were incredibly noisy and refused to follow the request to be silent (as much as reasonably possible) after midnight. Just as an FYI, you will hear a bit of noise from other floors and rooms so if you need total silence, you may wish to bring your earplugs but it's nothing that will prevent you from sleeping.
