Urban Bivouac Hotel

The room is very small but its comfortable for a few days. Hotel and facilities are new and staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast is just ok and enough to get you started There's a McDonalds and a few restaurants around the hotel which is convenient

I didn't like the location as its very far from major attractions (40-60min). The metro in front of the hotel doesn't have any lines that goes directly to the city center so you have to walk about 15 min to get to the line that goes to the center. If you are looking for a convenient location for tourism id say this is not ideal

Although small, the room was cosy and chic in an almost scandinavian way. Good mattress/bed. Extra bonus points for the integrated bluetooth speakers. Loved the salted butter and baguette combo at breakfast.

Breakfast was pretty limited. Coffee from the typical dispenser was crappy. Got the distinct feeling that cleaning staff was not changing our towels, but simply re-packing them and re-placing them again under the sink. Got one night's worth of stay blocked on my card at the moment of the reservation and unblocked only after checkout. The metro station closest to the hotel was/is closed during every weekend up until summer, would be nice for the hotel to provide a heads-up for their clients' awareness/planning.

The property was easy to find and the staff also emailed in advance with instructions on how to get to the nearest train station for Gare di Nord. Upon walking in the property was very clean, all the way from the entryway up until and inside the room. The staff were very polite and accommodating, helping us with all queries we had. They even held our luggage for us before check in and after check out so we could still explore Paris before our train home without having to drag around our luggage. The location was the perfect distance from the city and was also a good location for Disneyland Paris. If you’re looking for somewhere slightly away from the center of Paris, but still close enough to easily travel in, this hotel is perfect.

Lovely modern hotel, we were travelling with our young daughter who has some worries about visiting new places but she was very happy and relaxed there. We all commented on how kind and helpful the staff were, our beds were really comfortable and we got good local restaurant recommendations. Transport was easy, unfortunately the closest metro line was closed but there were plenty of other options a short walk away and the hotel communicated this in advance, which I really appreciated. Our daughter loved the board games in the breakfast room and breakfast itself was perfect for us with good variety. It was our anniversary and the hotel laid out some synthetic rose petals on the bed which was a lovely gesture. Great option for Paris with staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Small issue that wasn't a huge problem but due to the corner layout of the room, the toilet is right next to the head of the sofa bed where our daughter was sleeping.

We had a wonderful 3-nights stay at Urban Bivouac hotel. The room was a bit small, but we expected it to be small since that is clearly specified in Booking. Anyway, the size is good enough for a couple. The room is very new and very clean, as well as the beds and pillows. The buffet breakfast is a very good price for the money. We tried it the first morning and decided to take it on the remaining two mornings as well. Al that said, maybe the highest point of the hotel is the kindness and good predisposition of the staff. We arrived when a national strike was taking place in Paris, and they gave us very useful and detailed information on how to get safely to the hotel. The are very useful items available for buying or borrowing, and they also offer room service 24 hs. The wifi was perfect: I was able to attend videoconferences from the room. Overall, Urban Bivouac is a wonderful option to stay in Paris and we would definitely choose it again.

The room was modern, clean, in good repair, stylish, and comfortable. Of course like many hotels in Paris the rooms are on the small side, but my room was bright, cleverly designed to maximize utility of space and had a usable desk, nice shower and sink area with a good, usable shelf, and a separate closet and toilet area. I was there for four days and felt very comfortable. The staff was largely very friendly and helpful. If I could have asked for anything it would have been a fitness room with an exercise bike or treadmill and some weights or even just yoga mats to borrow. Also maybe a glass of wine or beer in the evening or mini fridges so you can have your own. The bed was very comfortable. I slept well.

The only thing that surprised me that was taxis called by the hotel had higher off meter pricing (not a nice surprise at approximately 30% more than metered). But they were on time and friendly. There aren't too many really good restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Food was very average in the immediate neighborhood. The night manager did send us to a good place in the Marais that had excellent seafood, so really helpful when I asked for help with finding food. Merci!

Everything was Perfect! The hotel is right at the Olympiades metro stop, from where you can get to the center of Paris very fast and without any problems. There are also bakeries, small supermarkets and restaurants more than enough nearby. The check-in worked without any problems, the staff at the reception was always helpful and friendly and also the room was excellent. One day I had a problem with a window in my room and the night service immediately assigned me a new and even larger room. The next day the manager came by personally, looked at the window and very courteously and kindly showed me that it was just an operator error on my part. It was my first two nights at this hotel and it certainly won't be my last.

We spent a long weekend at the hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, functional and well-soundproofed. The wi-fi was good in the room and communal areas of the hotel. We only had breakfast on one morning but there was a good and varied buffet. The location of the hotel is great and the metro line 14 is just outside and the train time to Chatelet les Halles is 8 minutes. All the members of staff that we met were friendly, helpful and informative. We highly recommend it. Five stars from us.

The staff! They were amazing! Receptive, polite, and amicable helped us with everything we needed, from tourism tips to even translating a phone call when we needed it (they went out of their way to help my pregnant wife and me when we needed to call a hospital for information)! Also, really close to a subway station, despite being a little far from city center.

Room planning overall could be better - small details such as the hanging lamp right over the bedroom at eye-level of someone lying there, or the fact that the only table available was in front of the TV, making it impossible for my wife to watch it while I worked. Those are not dealbreakers, though, and surely not enough to keep me from returning to this hotel - especially considering the amazing staff.

The coffeemaker in the lounge made exceptional coffee and was really easy to use. The decor was unique and cool and everything was very clean and looked new. The bed was so comfortable and we slept really well every night. We expected to have to use earplugs as there were always sirens during the day, but the area was very quiet at night.
