Best Western Plus 61 Paris Nation Hotel

Narrow corridors. TV channels only in French. Location. No parking.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with my husband, two daughters and my parents. We were all very happy with our stay! Me and my husband and daughters stayed in a a family suit which was very comfortable and met our need perfectly, sure the room is not very big but it was big enough (you don't expect big rooms in Paris) and the girls loved having their own room with private tv ;) The room was very clean and airy. We were at the top level and it was very quite and relaxing. My parents stayed in a double room on the same floor and they were also very satisfied with their stay. Their room was clean and bright and comfortable. The hotel staff was all very kind and helpful and very fun with our daughters :) We had breakfast two mornings and it was good. Good variety and everyone could find something they liked. The location is of course a little out side the center but it is very easy to get around, the metro is just a 3 min walk from the hotel and we went all over the city from there, very easily. It's also nice to walk around the neighborhood where the hotel is, we ate at two good local restaurants close to the hotel and never felt unsafe coming home late at nights, walking from the metro. Over all a very pleasant stay and we fully recommend.

We were upgraded to a larger room than expected for the duration of our stay at no extra charge, which we greatly appreciated! We were also grateful for the complimentary water and fruit each day.

Our room was right next to the reception area, so there were times that it was a bit noisy. Also, the room became quite warm even though we turned down the thermostat several times, so we had to keep opening the bathroom window to cool the room down.

Only a few minutes walk from Porte de Vincennes metro which has good transport options for many places in Paris. Air conditioning, which you can’t take for granted in Europe. Good sized family room with kids in a sofa bed that turned into 2 singles in a part that could be closed off from the main bedroom. Plus points for conditioner amongst the toiletries. Comfortable bed.

The lift - very small. Took 3 goes to get us and the bags up (given we were on the 4th floor I wasn’t walking).

The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and had confortable beds. The breakfast had several options.

We had to wait for our check in. We had an issue where we were woken at 2am one night with people knocking at our door and shouting, but latter found out that were other guests, drunk and had nothing to do with the hotel staff or control. The hand sanitizers in the hotel and the hand soap in the room were empty and were not refilled.

There is plenty of space for a solo traveler. The bed is very comfortable, with enough space for even two people. The bathroom is always clean and without a flaw. There is even a working space for you to do some tasks.

The view from the room comes to other windows, so you better close the curtains. There is enough space for a solo traveler but not plenty. The wardrobe is a bit small. Also, I could hear other people in the room sometimes.

One of the most affordable options for our dates. There isn’t much happening around the area, but the hotel is right by the metro station, and the train takes you everywhere reliably. The rooms are tiny but clean with all the amenities you need. The hotel staff is friendly and often left out treats for us in the lobby.

As mentioned above, the area around the hotel doesn’t have many restaurants or things to do, but if you don’t mind taking the metro, this hotel is a great option!

Ideal location for travellers. Metro station is few minutes walk and M1 takes you to all the main tourist spots. Quite a few dining options within walking distance. Rooms were small but cozy. Must mention the reception staff were very friendly and assisted with all information about the place.

The hotel is gorgeous! My favourite thing about the place was the staff - everyone was so kind and welcoming they made me feel at home ☺️ Breakfast was very tasty, especially pancakes with jam. The room was super tidy and comfy, a little smaller than I expected, but so cosy. A cute inside garden for smoking. It’s also around 20 min to the centre from there. 10/10 definitely coming back

The welcome was good. We came a bit before check in and got some snacks while waiting for the room. The elevator was very small and the narrow steps to the 4th floor felt quite long before reaching the room. I suppose this is Paris so I also expected a rather small room but I was wrong. The room was actually two rooms and surprisingly big . One room for the kids and another for the adults. The room was great we could have stayed there for more than 1 night. The breakfast buffet was plenty and tasteful
