Le Petit Cosy Hôtel

Le Petit Cosy was so cozy! There are many nice restaurants in the area as well as to very good bakeries with a wonderful selection of bake goods. There is a Metro station across the street. Our room was wonderful! It was very clean. The bathroom was a little small but was ok. The shower was amazing...very hot water! Special thanks to Alex and his coworkers! They were very pleasant to talk to and kindly helped us with our French.

It was very clean. I only wish it had an elevator. But Alex helped with our luggage and the steps were steep but all was good.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are not too big (in line with the hotel, which is small and more boutique-like), but they are clean and quiet (at least those facing the inner courtyard, where I stayed). Comfortable firm bed. Cute café downstairs, where breakfast is offered. Breakfast buffet is not so large, but there are still quite some options with cereal, fruit, some meats and cheeses, and staff additionally offer fried/scrambled eggs and bacon. Well located in a nice neighborhood and within walking distance to the subway.

Very friendly, very simple but stylish and nice. Off the beaten track, but a real Paris neighbourhood discovery for me. Try the Rue des Rendez-Vous (really) for wonderful local food shops. Reception was very helpful in getting me a room with a great view over Cosy’s seriously charming Place - great if you don’t mind traffic noise or climbing stairs. This is a three storey building, authentic with thin walls and no elevator. Fine with me. They also have a good brasserie buzzing with locals (not late though). And - great towels, nice attention to detail.

Plastic bathroom cups, wrapped in more plastic. There must be a better way.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. I've stated in Paris 3 times now and I think the value here is unbeatable. The location of the hotel is lovely, you'll feel free to wander around the streets and get lost a bit and there are some great restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant attached to the hotel works well in a pinch. I felt the breakfast buffet wasn't really worth it - it's very busy and chaotic and difficult to really enjoy but I also was there during high season so I'm sure it's different at slower times of the year.

The petit cosy hotel is just that. It is very petit. There's just enough room for your body and your suitcase and that is it. For a solo traveller it's no problem, but be aware that once you add a second person it's a tight squeeze.

The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful!

The quality of the food in their restaurant was horrible! I had a steak, with which I spent a lot of time cutting around all of the fat, and it literally was like chewing rubber! And only one member of the wait staff seemed to care and not see us as an annoyance. After going there 3 times, we gave up and started going elsewhere. The room was small, but this is typical of Paris. And likely related, there was nothing to put your stuff on; no tables, counter top in the bathroom, etc. And before you write me off as an “Ugly, Ignorant American”, I lived in Paris and Lyon before and had gone to this restaurant multiple time prior to the pandemic.

Location is right next to a metro station so very quick and easy to get from one area and back again. The room was clean which is great. And my French isn’t very good but the front staff did speak some english so that was helpful. And they have a luggage area where you can drop off if they aren’t ready for you yet which they lock.

The room was very tiny, bathroom included but with the price we paid it makes sense and equals out. Very minimal with everything in the room.

I liked my private courtyard room. It felt like a little studio apartment. The shower was also excellent. Renovated bathrooms with great water pressure and hot water. I also liked the proximity to such a popular, busy restaurant. Glad to have heat and A/C, as I needed both. Very close to the metro and bus stops and surrounded by plenty of shops, stores, and restaurants. Walking distance to Nation area. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and inviting (both hotel and restaurant). I'm glad I chose this place and was sad to leave.

It would have been nice to have a fridge. I also bought air freshener because the room smelled a little bit stale when I first arrived.

The hotel is situated in the middle of Paris’ 12th Arrondisement, and I stayed there due to business meetings in the area. The rooms are small, but immaculately clean, modernly furnished and comfortable. The hotel is directly above a cafe also named Le Cosy, which serves excellent lunch and dinner and is staffed by cheerful and energetic staff. It’s also situated directly outside the entrance to Picpus Metro station, which makes moving around Paris very easy.

I loved everything about the property, except the lack of a lift - but it wasn’t a major issue.

the room was well maintained however the AC made a rattling sound unless it was in low. this needs maintenance

coffee and tea was charged extra. this is a very basic item which should be included. the room does not have enough space to unpack. the tv does not have any international channels which is common in hotels. the room rate is above average so the minimum is to add these features to justify the extra expense.

The staff was really helpful and understanding as I booked this hotel last minute! The room is air conditioned and there is a really nice outdoor area filled with cute plants where you can sit down and enjoy (your cigarette if you smoke).

The only things I didn’t really enjoy about the hotel was the bed! It was 2 single mattresses pushed into form a big one but when you lay in the middle it gets quite uncomfortable so I could only sleep on the one side of the bed instead of enjoying the double bed. The other thing what I didn’t like was the disappointing breakfast! The eggs were great but other than that yhere wasn’t much too choose from and also not enough vegetarian and vegan options aswell but the staff at breakfast were all super friendly!
