Could walk to everything: Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Louvre, Eiffel Tower. Metro just outside to the catacombs. Very quiet in the hotel- couldn’t hear anyone beside or above us. Serviced the room every day. Safe street- nice restaurant at the top - quick bagel place (Bagelstein) a few feet away. Friendly staff- hold your room key while you’re out, obtained an extra pillow for us since we each wanted to use 2.

Bathroom was pretty! just very small shower stall. Could use a shelf to hold shampoo etc since it was a very tight area to bend over and pick up shampoo/soap from the floor. I don’t think there was a top sheet? just a comforter, so we adjusted the room temp a little warmer than what the hotel had it set to. Overall a tight room (as expected) but we made it work.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. The room. The room was small, but it had everything I could need. The bed was super comfy, there is a table to put some of your stuff, the closet, the safe, some tea and coffee, kettle, the bathroom (very clean, hot water is running instantly, fresh towels). The room in general was clean and cozy, makes you want to stay in that bed all day. Another thing about the room, that blew my mind was the view. The spectacular view of the Arc de Triomphe, it lights up at night and makes the whole picture just unimaginable. The staff. This is the most kind stuff I have ever met. You need advise about the transportation ? Done. You need help with choosing a restaurant? Done. Always there, literally 24/7 available to help you with anything you want. I had this request to deliver water to my room daily. No problems at all. But what I admire is not that. The kindness and the hospitality that I encountered , this is just amazing. The building itself has a very rich history. There is a Russian speaking man ( his name is George )working mostly nights, who can tell you all about it. If you like history, you will be shocked. This man is the most intelligent person I have met in years. Big thanks to him personally for all the information that he provided. The location. Well, there cannot be a better location, literally. And I don’t mean by that the fact that the hotel is in the center. No. If you look at the map, you can see that the Arc is in the middle and around it, the roads are spreading like a snowflake. By taking one of those roads you can reach the main attractions, shops, restaurants. The location is also perfect if you like to walk in the late evenings / nights. It’s safe there.

Staff was very friendly and always very helpful. Location is great and very convenient. Bed was very comfy and lovely view from the balcony :)

Shower a bit too small and there was a weird noise coming from the air system which was annoying during the night.

After an absence of more than 50 years, I returned to this pleasant hotel which is ideally located near the Champs Elysees with a nearby Metro station. Reasonably priced, clean, free wi-fi, an elevator for the less mobile guests like myself, and friendly staff makes Stella Hotel an ideal place for a nice stay in Paris.

With parking space in Paris at a premium and mostly hard to come by, it's astonishing that Stella Hotel doesn't mention on their website and in other promotions the the entrance of the hotel is situated right opposite an underground and guarded parking with plenty of space for visitors on levels -3, -4 and -6 levels.

- location: it is perfectly located 1 min walk to the arc de triomphe and metro station - staff: very friendly and a super quick and easy check in service - room: it is nicely decorated and clean comfortable bed I was honestly surprised as I booked it last minute late in the afternoon as my plane got canceled and had to find a place to stay so I was honestly looking at the cheapest options available for 2 nights not interested in fancy or luxurious stays and when I got to the room I was shocked ! I had a legit balcony (one you can actually step out on and sit comfortably which is rare in paris) that had direct view at the arc de triomphe for an extremely good price! I stayed previously in this area but different upscale hotels and was dying to get this view and let me tell you it was a pricy experience.

- room key: you are not allowed to keep the room key card with you when you go out of the hotel you have to give it to the front desk which I found to be weird and wasn't fully comfortable with it specially that all I had to do was say the room number and they will give the card back so basically anyone might request it and have access to my room so that was a concern for me as paris is known for being unsafe with all the hotel thefts that are happening. - bathroom: I don't get that concept of an open bathroom !!!!! why is it so hard to add a wall to separate the bathroom from the actual sleeping space! and the shower space is so small if you are a bit chubby don't bother trying to fit i personally have a lean figure and had some difficulties managing myself in the space

Location was great, metro station 100m away from the hotel door. Calm street, restaurants, grocery stores and street markets not far away. All in all, just a pleasant and calm part of town with a great view of the Arc de Triomphe from the room window! Room was clean, bed and sheets were comfy, we had good quality sleep in general.

The room is a bit small, but then the night rate was fair considering Paris and the location. So not really a complaint, just a heads up. Not a place you want to hang around too long. Just sleep, shower and go out and see the city!

I loved everything about this hotel - the staff are all lovely and extremely helpful (nothing is too much trouble). The location is fantastic being so close to the Charles de Gaulle Metro station and the Arc de Triomphe - so convenient to get out and explore Paris. The rooms, while small (but what hotel rooms in Paris aren't small), were fresh and well appointed - beds are soooo comfortable!!

There was nothing about this hotel I did not like!! But one thing that would be nice, is a room option that has a bathtub.

grear location and view

Location was amazing- view of the Arc de Triomphe at one end of street, nice neighborhood with several cafes and coffee shops at the other end of the street. Loved having happy hour on the (tiny) balcony. Metro stop was steps away from hotel. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was small but efficient with updated bathroom and great water pressure and showerhead.

1. The location is perfect - 2 minutes by foot to Arc de Triomphe, 1 minute to the subway. 2. The hotel is well equipped and designed. 3. Friendly and helpful staff (esp. George, who told us about the hotel's building history, gave us some tips and told some historical facts about Paris in general).

1. The cleaning could have been better. 2. Shower cabin needs a water isolation. It was impossible to take a shower without flooding the bathroom.
