Hôtel Le Regent Paris

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Good size room and bathroom. Good facilities. Reasonable breakfast. Close to lots of restaurant's and shops.

Very noisy some nights from street. Room in need of a few paint touch ups. Bedside lamps not working.

The accommodations were in the charming French style you would expect when visiting France. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough considering the location. The location can’t be beat. Minutes walking to Pont Neuf for sunset. We walked to all sights in every direction rarely using the subway. If you want to be in the heart of city, while still experiencing the charm and culture of the city - this is the perfect spot for you! There is a mini fridge in the room and a full grocery market around the corner, which made storing wine, cheese and other goods easy to do. This enabled us to eat breakfast and have travel snacks throughout our stay without having to dine out at all times.

Coffee machines/kettle in the room would have been appreciated. AC did not work properly, so some nights were quite warm with the windows open, which meant listening to the bars and restaurants nearby till 3am.

Fantastic location. Close to everything. Plenty restaurants in the area. А grocery store ( Carrefour market) and a bakery (Eric Kaiser) within 1min by walking. Odeon metro station- 2mins by walking. The room was spacious, super clean with a cleaning service every day. Comfy beds. A bathroom spotless, spacious and warm. AC is available. A safety box is available in the room. Helpful and nice stuff at the reception.

We liked everything, but maybe these comments can help someone: The street is noisy, sleeping with an open window was not possible. We used AC and it was perfect. The hotel is located in historical building and therefore the elevator is tiny, and again, we managed perfectly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent nearby to the Louvre Museum, great restaurants and cafes and the metro stations on Boulevarde St Germain. Breakfast was very fresh and always served with a smile.

The room was located with a view of Rue Dauphine, which was always busy and noisy. The bedroom floor sloped badly from the window to the door, making sleeping lopsided! The beds were comfortable. The bathroom light heater was always on making the bathroom very hot. We were able to open a window to cool the room during our stay.

Super convenient location and well maintained interiors with Parisian charm! There was an elevator useful for our heavy suitcases. The bathrooms were newly renovated with a fantastic shower. Rooms were compact but more than adequate, and definitely what I would expect in the heart of Paris.

Lack of soundproofing - we were woken by our neighbour coming and going, coughing, and the sounds of the pipes when other rooms were showering. Lack of a kettle to make our own tea/coffee. Wifi was not up to the standards of a major city hotel - this has been noted by other reviewers.

Lovely little hotel in the centre of Saint Germain area. under 10 mins walk to Notre Dame and Batobus (hop on /off boat). 15 mins walk to shopping centre. 5 mins walk to St Michaels station which has RER C service to Palace of Versailles (shut at the moment due to refurb but metro still runs from that station). Tons of cafes, bars, pizza places, bakeries and even wine shop right opposite. You will not lack food or drink in that location. Staff was lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was really good and big. Pastries fresh every morning - yum!

Our bathroom was very nice: large walk-in shower, big drawers for cosmetics, etc under sink. Room was small but high ceiling. Nice windows on the street with no noise when closed. Bed was a bit bumpy. All very clean Pleasant desk staff. Would stay here again. Right in the center of many restaurants, near the river.

The elevator was tiny. Bed uncomfortable but we slept okay due to tourist exhaustion!

It has one of the very good locations in Paris. You can walk to the famous Paris destinations. There are lots of good restaurants, bakeries, and a grocery nearby. Staff is very helpful.

Our room had an uneven flooring. A part of the floor was inclined and thus, a part of our bed was also inclined. I guess it is because of the age of the building.

Fantastic staff who were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and obtaining tickets to nearby events and museums. Lovely comfortable room, brilliant shower, great bed with extra pillows and blankets. The hotel is in an old historical building. There are so many great restaurants and bars nearby. We walked everywhere and had no need to use the metro - therefore we saw so much more of Paris. A wonderful stay.
