Hotel OFF Paris Seine

The staff was amazing, kind and helpful. The hotel had a cosy yet exciting modern feel. It was a lovely idea for it to be a boat with amazing dock views !. The boat hotel is opposite a metro station so very convenient. We will definitely come back!. They also let you keep your luggage before you check in and kindly let us leave it there when we checked out so we could explore the city a little bit more before we had to leave.

Sadly there was some dust built up - I have asthma so this made me slightly flare up. It was more to do with the aesthetic make of the hotel rather than anything to do with any up keep. Apart from that it was cleaned very regularly with help needed at any time.

What a cool place! I highly recommend this hotel just for the experience of being on the Seine. The barge gently rocks you to sleep. The location is great - we walked almost everywhere but the trains are nearby. There was a lovely Cafe on the banks of the Seine and a restuarant in the hotel itself. It was a quiet, lovely place to stay. We had a river view and it was really cool to open the window to the Seine from our room. The room itself was tiny but perfect.

The taxi drivers had no idea how to access the hotel so we we were dropped on the street which was a little stressful. Apparently there is a way to drive down to the hotel but it's complicated. It would be hard for someone with mobility issues.

We have visited Paris almost every year for34 years. We took a chance on Hotel Off and we are glad we did. The rooms are well designed with little technical extras that make the difference. They are on a boat, so not large rooms, but well proportioned. The lights reflecting off the Seine as you lay in bed are magical. Breakfast is very good. The best part of the stay are the staff. Attentive without being fussy, thoughtful and welcoming throughout. Would thoroughly recommend.

It would be churlish to mention the sound of the trains crossing the bridge nearby as something negative. They stop at midnight and don’t start again until 7am. The sounds of Paris are one of the reasons to visit.

There was the sound of running water in our room - which wasn't the river! - and the staff was quick to move us to another room. We appreciated that... we had unpacked and spent one night - they were very helpful in the move. We enjoyed the complimentary champagne! I spent much time looking out our window on the Seine, watching the boat traffic and the lights come on in the evening. This hotel is really cool!

The breakfast seemed too expensive and the dinner menu was not our style. However we found a self-serve coffee machine and some pastries later in our stay. We stayed 4 nights. It was hard to find -- but possible.

-hotel bar could have been better (more options to choose from) -external spaces maybe need a little bit of maintenance. It's a beautiful spot to have a drink or eat, with some final touches, it can be perfect! -maybe add some heaters when it's so cold outside- or in the swimming pool area

Very good location nearby Gare D'Austerlitz RER, Tram and Metro stations combined. İle de France is just 15 minutes walk away. Just next to walking alleys alongside Seine River. Heating is working very effectively in wintertime, something that we were suspicious about before staying however we realized that they managed it perfectly. Beautiful view of Seine even if you stay on quay side. Very helpful staff in general. Probably the first place that I'll be back to stay again in Paris.

The coffee machine in the breakfast saloon seems not being enough in case when the saloon is full of guests. The inflammable flamingo in the pool was flat the 2nd day of our stay ;( this was the most tragic point about the hotel, you guess :)

In general, I am very pleased with my stay. Please see my review of the same hotel from last year (Nov 2021) for more details. I would stay here again in the future.

A couple of minor reservations: The location is not the most central (it's on the east side near the Gare d'Austerlitz). To visit the museums and sites in Paris, often require a change of Metro stops. Most of the time, I walked along the Seine (a nice thing to do) to the Metro at Chalelet (or Gare de Lyon) for my daily excursions. I am told that the restaurant at the hotel is a separate operation. You cannot charge your drinks and meals to your room, you have to pay separately - which is a minor inconvenience. When the restaurant has events (like conferences and weddings), it's closed to guests of hotel, and can only order room service. However, hotel staff is very accommodating, and happy to deliver the drink (or food) to you.

Nice and guiet, good breakfast, did not need to stand in line and wait to get the breakfast. Enjoyed the possibility to go and get easily (and for free) the coffee in automat day and night and just enjoy the evening sceneries, sitting in one of the quiet corners in the back part of the floating hotel 🙂 Air conditioning was great too. Room was quite small but did not feel so small.

There were no seperate sleeping bankets but had to ask for them. Yet did get them for the next night 🙂

We always look for unique travel experiences. This ranked high as the only floating hotel not only in Paris but all of France. We were celebrating my 55th birthday and the team on-site made each day special from my greetings to the surprises in our suite. Seth, the director ensured I had a memorable experience to last a lifetime of stories to share. We stayed in 3 rooms during our stay due to extending our trip and each one got better. The dockside standard room was certainly larger than expected for a boat but when we were moved to the river side suite our mouths dropped. The yellow and silver suite was immaculately decorated and we could have stayed for months. The tangerine suite was slightly smaller and also nailed the decor. The tubs where everything. Romantic nights on the river…this is where you wanna stay. The intimate ambience throughout the boat with is quaint reading books to breakfast by the pool all welcome you to stay in place although you know you want to explore Paris. Loves this hotel. Keep up the fabulous work Seth and team.

Finding the hotel was easy, as was check-in. Well designed hotel including the rooms. Bar and dining room looked good though we didn't use on this occasion. Notre Dame and a linear park (Tino Rossi) a short stroll along the bank of the Seine. Easy walk across the Charles de Gaulle bridge to Gare de Lyon for our onward train journey.

The pool was closed for renovation. They did email this news but only a couple of days before our stay. Desolé. I always carry ear plugs and black-out mask. Definitely needed at this hotel.
