🌟🏨 Hotel Palym Review 🏨🌟 I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Palym in Paris, and I must say, it was a delightful experience that exceeded all my expectations! 💫 From the moment I stepped in, the amazing team at Palym made me feel right at home. 🤗 For a small-budget hotel, their level of service is truly commendable. The room was not just clean; it was spotless! Every nook and cranny was meticulously taken care of, leaving no room for oversight. 🧹✨ The organization of space in the room was remarkable. It's evident that someone with a keen eye for detail and efficiency has thoughtfully designed the layout. Everything had its place, and it all contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. 👌🛌 The dedication to cleanliness and maintenance at Palym is truly impressive. It feels like the hotel is managed by someone who treats it as their own personal property, ensuring every corner is in top-notch condition. 🧼🔧 What struck me most was the cheerful and efficient staff. They seemed genuinely happy in their work, and their performance reflected that positivity. Location, cleanliness, comfort, customer service

Breakfast was ok but not great.

This was a last minute booking for one night and so our expectations were low, however once inside we were really surprised to find a good sized clean and comfortable room which was quiet. It also had a great shower. Well worth the money. It would be good for la longer stay e.g. 3 days. A minute from the Metro.

When we first walked onto the street (it was 10.00pm), we were a bit dubious about its location, which was next to a 'massage' parlour and couldn't see the entrance because of building works. But it turned out to be a great hotel and the neighbourhood was fine.

French breakfast with a lot of pastries and cakes, but also an okay selection of cheese, yoghurt and granola. Coffee and tea okay. Small breakfast room without windows, but clean and neat. The hotel is small, with no outdoor areas, but clean and nicely done. Very close to Gare de Lyon and good restaurants in the area, about 5 minutes walk.

The areas around railway stations always have some question-marks when it comes to perceived safety, but the quarters close to Gare de Lyon are quite okay.

Central Paris, close proximity to Gare de Lyon (4 min walk). Nice, elegant, clean hotel that does the job. If facilities not in room, you can always ask reception to provide (we asked for kettle, they tried sourcing one which they had not, so free boiling water and tea pot and cups were provided from the kitchen ). Staff is great: kind, professional and willing to help.

Room a bit tight which may be an issue if you're planning to stay in all day and you're with another person. Quite unlikely, as you are probably there only to sleep and spend the day visiting Paris.

Very nice and attentive staff, eager to help at any time of the day. Good choice at breakfast. Great location, just over the street of Gare de Lyon. Very clean room, all furniture was new. Plenty of electric plugs and even USB plugs in the room walls. Nice balcony view where we could see the marvelous train station clock tower.

The bathroom was a bit small in our room, but modernly equipped and very clean. A minor suggestion: there were lots of black and green tea types available, but not much herbal teas (only verbena when we were there) - this could be slightly improved.

Arrived in Paris late evening without a booking (joint husband/wife error!!). Urgently checked booking.com for local hotels. Price, rating and distance stuck out as being a good option. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful and the room for our quick overnight stop was perfect. Exceeded out expectations by a mile. Spacious, clean room with a large comfortable bed. Excellent albeit very short stay.

Excellent location for Gare de Lyon, which is more or less directly across the road. Friendly staff at reception, good choice at breakfast. Comfortable beds.

The bathroom was really rather compact - for someone of 175cm height it was just possible to sit on the toilet, given how close it was to the wall in front of it; any taller and you'd have to sit sideways. The room was well insulated acoustically from the street but people moving around in the room above and plumbing noises (shower, toilet) from nearby rooms were rather audible.

Room was typical sized for Paris (smallish), but clean (other than a rather dark stain in the carpet) and surprisingly quiet. The staff we encountered were all helpful and spoke English, which was much appreciated! Easy walk from Gare de Lyon, nearby restaurants and a small grocery.

We were asked to leave the room key at the front desk when we were leaving each day. I think it was for security, but it was a bit strange. There was a safe in the room for securing valuables while we were out.

The hotel was perfectly located for my early morning train from Gare de Lyon. It was surprisingly quiet and had everything I needed for a quick overnight stop after a hot day travelling and before heading on the next morning. The room was small but perfectly clean with a huge comfy bed, a TV, aircon, a hairdryer and a small bathroom. The balcony for my room looked out to Gare de Lyon. It could not be closer!

The only negative was that the lift wasn’t working so I had to use the stairs to get to my room on the 5th floor. But the staff were very apologetic and, weirdly, the lift worked for luggage so my heavy suitcase used the lift while I used the stairs! Not really a problem and, in fact, probably very good for me!!
