Idol Hotel

Fun, clever, stylish, especially for a hotel in this price range. Quiet too, and a nice petit déjeuner with yogurt and granola as well as pastries, a little cheese, delicious Norwegian style pancakes, and coffee. A small garden for nice weather. The immediate neighborhood isn’t convenient to much if you aren’t seeking repair of a musical instrument, but the Europe metro stop’s a hop skip and a jump, and lovely Parc Monceau is a 15 minute walk. Oh, and crucially last weekend, it has strong AC.

Immediate neighborhood is pretty dead, you just have to walk or metro. Reflected in the price I’m sure.

I had the best stay at Idol Hotel! I found the quality exceeded my expectations. The Hotel is close to Saint Lazare, perfect position to walk in Paris centre and to connect with everywhere you may want to go. Safe and beautiful area, surrounded of bakeries, restaurants and other services. The hall of the hotel was welcoming with an all day available coffee/tea area (free coffee, cappuccino etc) with tables and couches. The staff welcomed me already knowing my name when I stepped in the first time, they were kind and efficient. The room were perfectly clean, comfortable and stylish, with different themes color and decoration. The bed was big and super comfortable, you could set your room temperature and have Lavazza espresso coffee on the table in the room. I stayed for 5 nights (I was there for my graduation, and shared a room with my mum, my aunt and uncle had the room close to us), and both room were beautiful and perfectly kept every day of our stay. I will definitely be back at Idol Hotel if I need a stay in Paris again! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

I liked everything about the property!

I like our clean and quiet room with twists of art and grooviness. Albeit small, can't expect too much from European standard, it was well decorated and clean. Beds were comfortable. New updated shower amenities. Shower was hot with good water pressure. The bodywash smelled divine. Friendly staff. Melodie let us check in early without charging. Quite a nice welcoming gesture and I appreciated it! Chic lobby, suitable for younger generation and couples to hang out. Convenient location easy access to Cafe, grocery, restaurant, train station, mall and high end shopping. I had a great time exploring the neighborhood.

Room was small. Elevator was very small. Lotion was scented, while smelling divine, gave me a bit of rash for a day due to skin sensitivity.

We loved staying in this hotel, the location is great, there are so many cute restaurants and bakeries around, and although it is not right next to the main sights, transport is great and we also walked a lot because it's such a pretty area. Wifi was great, the shower was great, the bed was comfy, it was mostly super relaxing.

The sound isolation is not the best, it's not the worst either, but we could hear conversations next door and shoes clicking upstairs.

I loved the decor of my room and the hotel. This boutique hotel is not your typical Parisian hotel and I LOVED it! The staff was so nice and accommodating. I was celebrating my birthday and they left a small gift for my on the bed prior to my arrival. They emailed me directions and a list of restaurants and entertainment prior to my stay . I was traveling alone so this made me feel so much more comfortable traveling in the city. The hotel is a short walk away from the metro. My room was clean everyday I came back from my activities. I really appreciated that. I also loved the smell of their toiletries ! I really loved the retro vibe of the hotel. I would absolutely come back to stay here again!

There was some construction across the street which woke me up in the morning.

The location was everything! The outdoor courtyard was great. The bed was comfortable and the toiletries from Nuxe which is always a plus! The stuff from the minibar were actually cheaper than the bar next door.

The room was a little small to move around for 2 people and a lot of luggage! The shower should have the shower head higher so I can get the water from the neck down and not from the belly bottom down!

I had a really lovely stay here! The staff were all amazing, really friendly and welcoming. When I arrived I realised that I had packed the wrong plug adapter, which seems like a small thing but when you're travelling alone the first thing on your mind is having enough phone battery. I let reception know that I had accidentally packed a UK adapter instead of an EU one and they gave me a spare one. Lifesavers! Rooms were really lovely and clean, I had the smallest room but it's absolutely perfect for a solo traveller. The bed was so comfortable and there is literally no noise to be heard from outside. My bed was made daily, but obviously you can say if you don't want that. The shower is physically in your room, which is fine for me, but just so you're aware if you're sharing with someone other than a partner. There is also coffee machine and selection of teabags in your room which I thought was a nice touch. The location is amazing, close to Villiers metro and several bakeries, bars and restaurants. You're also really close to plac d'clichy and montmatre area. It was really lovely and felt very parisian.

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay in Paris for even longer!

We absolutely loved the hotel. Compared to other hotels in Paris of the type, the room was quite spacious and rationally used to accomodate the facilities. Everything was nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast deserves to be mentioned as well - it was varied, delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Staff were nice and helpful. And the location was top - you'll find yourself at a walking distance from main tourist attractions.

Such a great hotel, don't hesitate to book. Room was super cool and great for the size given its Paris! Shower was honestly one of the best I've ever had. Staff couldn't do more.

Very polite and helpful staff. Great location on a quiet street, but steps away from the metro and bus stops, grocery shop across the street and about 10-15 min walk to Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. Good wifi signal, very comfy bed, minibar in the room.

Not the best sound proof walls.
