Le Belleval

The staff is exceptional. Very helpful, courteous, and professional. The location is outstanding, within walking distance of nearly every major attraction in Paris. The rooms, while somewhat small and spartan, are decorated tastefully and the furnishings comfortable. The breakfast service is wonderful. Ideal for the business traveler on a budget.

The hotel-provided WiFi was almost unusable, although this is not very different from many other Parisian hotels in the same price bracket. It's sufficient for checking email and light web surfing, but forget about holding any kind of video conference or similar meetings using it. Using things like YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu were essentially impossible. That said, you don't go to Paris planning to stay in your room watching YouTube! A minor blemish on an otherwise wonderful experience.

We liked literally everything. It was very clean, super modern und you can find anything you need. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, also the language skills were great. There is the possibility for room service as well; we took a bottle of water and wine glasses with us to our room the one night. But there is also a supermarket 2 minutes per feet away. The breakfast was totally fine - not extraordinary but it had good quality and strengthen us for a great start in the day. You can also eat lunch at the hotel, no dinner possible, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was cleaned every day even though we didn’t asked for it. There were plenty of towels available and the water was running good. The room was stylish and the bed was really comfortable - very great after a long day exploring the city as we slept like angels. The location was also great. You walk 10 minutes to the Galerie Lafayette, 20 minutes to the Louvre and around 35 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. But there are also plenty bus and metro stations around that‘ll connect you perfectly to anywhere. For Valentine‘s Day we got a cute notice with some chocolate. And we were always greeted by any staff member. The service was way better than we expected, especially for Paris. The price-value-proportion was perfect. We payed way less than it‘s normal for Paris including nice breakfast and was given the best services and quality you could possibly get. We will definitely come back here and we highly recommend anyone this hotel.

The location was perfect and close to major subway stations. Breakfast was lovely, always well presented and fresh. Also the staff went above and beyond to assist. Especially George (Unsure of the last name) on the front desk who walked us to the train platform while also assisting with bags to ensure we got on the right train when returning to the airport for our return flight, could not thank him enough for this as this was above and beyond my expectations of a hotel and blew my mind that someone could be this kind. He also assisted us with a difficult taxi driver and again exceeded my expectations. He is a real asset to this hotel and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a city break in Paris, which also has kind and caring staff.

More wardrobe space as very limited.

Location had great access to the Metro. Hotel was modern, clean and charming. Breakfast on site if you desired. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. I had a charming suite with balcony for sitting!

Some of the front desk staff were not customer service oriented. They didn't seem knowledgable or helpful. I was expecting concierge type service and that was not extended to us by them. Not helpful for restaurant recommendations, etc. Vanessa was the bright star at the desk, she went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed!

EVERYONE WAS SO ACCOMMODATING AND KIND. THE HOTEL MANAGER WAS BEYOND THE STANDARD OF HOSPITALITY! AN INCREDIBLY STYLISH BOUTIQUE HOTEL, THE BREAKFAST SERVED HOT EGGS AND MEATS WHICH YOU DO NOT TYPICALLY SEE IN A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, THE ROOM WAS QUITE WITH A BEAUTIFUL TERRACE AND VIEW. I LOVED THE SPACE, THE BATHROOM SPECIFICALLY IN MY SUITE, EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS. ELEVATORS WERE SPACIOUS AND IF YOU TRAVEL TO EUROPE OFTEN, YOU KNOW HOW RARE THAT IS! THEY HAVE A FRIENDLY HAPPY HOUR AND I'D VERY MUCH RECOMMEND THE GOAT CHEESE AND LARDON SALAD. I LOVED IT HERE, I TRAVEL OFTEN FOR WORK AND WILL BE STAYING AGAIN! THANK YOU, LE BELLEVAL!

NOTHING NOT TO LIKE

Literally EVERYTHING was awesome, The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Great location, The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Overall, I had a great experience with the Le Belleval. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Paris.

Staff were great - welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was large (for Paris) and well equipped. Location - easy access to multiple Metro lines, plenty of cafes and restaurants, as well as Carrefour and Monoprix. Breakfast - bit expensive (18€), but well done, and very comfortable seating in patio or dining / bar areas.

Air conditioning in room worked well, but was quite noisy in evening when trying to sleep. I eventually had to shut it off at night. Nice big gym, but the machines (Kettler I think) were pretty low quality. The elliptical was almost unusable - an upgrade to decent commercial kit (e.g., Life Fitness) would be a huge improvement.

We had such an incredible stay at the Le Belleval. The whole staff was super friendly and very helpful. The facilities, including the sauna and the sports center, are definitely a plus. The room was a good size for Paris' standards and it was super clean. The breakfast was lovely and included good quality products. All over, the hotel is very curated and well-maintained. Regarding the location, the hotel is very close to Metro stations and it's only 20min away from Gare du Nord via Metro. In the area, there are plenty of restaurants and shops too. We would love to go back again in the future.

Great location with easy access to public transportation. And it was on a reasonably quiet(ish) street.

We stayed for over a week. Wish there was a little more space that was not the floor to put our suitcases since there was no place to unpack our clothes. On a couple days the hotel staff was really late in cleaning our rooms but were quick to come when we mentioned it.

Although the rooms were quite small everything was of a high standard. The bathroom in our room was quite large. On our second morning we decided to try the hotel's buffet breakfast. It met all our requirements and was only 18 euros, which, compared to the coffee shops and restaurants nearby, was very reasonable.

Nothing really comes to mind, everything met our needs.
