Odalys City Paris Montmartre

The location and the staff are the stars of this hotel. The staff was SO knowledgeable and helpful (shoutout to Ray!). The location literally cannot be beaten. In the heart of Montmartre, you can literally walk right out the door to the hotel and be right at Sacre Coeur with no stairs required. The private spa was a great addition, but did cost an extra fee and require a reservation. The rooms had kitchenettes and a small table so you can save money and snack in the room. There is also a great courtyard in the center of the hotel and some rooms even have views of Sacre Coeur!

The breakfast buffet was satisfactory and clean, but nothing special. The hotel is set up more like "apartments" so there is not room cleaning each night. Because it is at the top of the tallest point in Paris, every night you have to return to your room by the way of a million stairs or spring for an Uber.

A quiet location behind the Sacre Couer in historic Montmartre. the room was spacious quiet and clean. there were lots of affordable yet good restaurants around and at the bottom of the hills. if you don’t mind climbing up the sleep stairs of Montmartre every morning and evening this is one of the best locations for indulging in late 1800s and early 1900s Paris art scenes.

The room was huge and the bed was comfortable. It was particularly quiet which was lovely and the staff were really nice. I liked the design of the room. also it’s great to have housekeeping only twice a week. That’s my preference. it was clean too

Anyone with mobility issues should think twice about staying in this area. It is hilly and although I worked out routes without stairs (for when I was leaving and didn’t want to carry my suitcase down stairs) it would take longer and it would still be hilly. I found it odd that there wasn’t a cloth to use for the dishes? I stayed for 13 nights and I only had one dishwasher tablet which I used but which was not replaced. I probably could have asked. I do think putting a cloth in the room for dishes would be good

The size of the room is excellent, with a small kitchen to prepare tea/coffee which is absolutely amazing. The bathroom is a good size as well, with a bath and hairdryer (not so good, but helps). The view of the room is also amazing - for the sacre-coeur. The staff were very welcoming and spoke English. The location is absolutely perfect, in the heart of the charming Montmartre. Just 2 minutes walking from sacre-coeur, plenty of bistros, cafes and souvenir stores, and 10 minutes walking from Moulin Rouge and other spots. Definitely worth staying here.

I asked for extra coffee and tea sachet and the front desk staff said that only one welcoming coffee and tea is provided - it would not take much extra cost to the property to have some extra sachets available for customers and would increase my satisfaction. The pillow is not a proper pillow, is more a cushion than a pillow - it was comfortable, but definitely I prefer a pillow. During my stay, renovating work was being done just by side of my room. Even though the workers started their work around 9, the noise was high and for my last day there, I've decided to get the day to rest and chill out, with no time to wake up, and with the work in progress, I couldn't enjoy my resting day. It was absolute nonsense!

The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and decor, very comfortable bed. Despite being close to bars and cafés the location of the hotel was very quiet.

The location of the hotel is excellent for the Sacré Coeur and there are lots of restaurants and bars close by. However access to them involves taking lots of stairs. not something the hotel can change but it is not a good location for people with reduced mobility.

Great location and decent cooking facilities. the dishwasher was a fantastic surprise. the staff were all lovely and really helpful. The roads and stairs to the location are a bit tricky with large suitcases but not impossible. The closeness to several metros is fantastic for the price!

the amount of stairs outside to get to the property. other roots are optional but just worth knowing beforehand if traveling with a buggy, large suitcases etc.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. I had been pickpocked on the Metro before even arriving at the hotel, losing all my cards, etc. The staff was helpful and informative, and tried to do whatever they could do both to help me and to make my trip a success. On a 100 point scale, the staff deserves 200! The hilltop area of the hotel is gorgeous!

When I finally had some free time, I discovered the spa was fully booked. That was a little disappointing! It would have been good to try it. Hill climbing in the heat, with a mask (!!) was sometimes hard.

The hotel is located in a beautiful touristy area, but at the same time it's very quiet at night, so you can have a good sleep. The staff is very frienly and helpful. There is a Metro station within 6 minutes of walking down the hill. The rooms have kitchen facilities, including an induction stove and a dishwasher

Most of the main Parisian landmarks are not within a walking distance. There is a metro station nearby, but it is located down the hill, so on your way back you need to climb up the hill

The place was clean and well looked after, we had a great time. Thanks for having us.

We were welcomed from such a friendly staff member (Laurant) who had such gracious manners and a wonderful sense of humor. We had asked for two rooms close together and that’s exactly what we got. The rooms were beautiful, exceptionally clean and well organized. The exterior of the hotel is plain but the interior is modern and beautiful. The hotel is located near some very good restaurants, shopping and historic architecture. Montmarte is a world apart from central Paris and a wonderful place to spend a few days. Sacre Couer is a definite on the list of places to explore. Although there are stairs and hill’s everywhere, we were able to navigate (I’m in my 70’s) the surroundings. The view was fantastic too. I highly recommend this hotel. 5 stars. Exceptional.

Cannot think of one thing. Oh yes….it was a bit pricey but no complaints as we definitely got our moneys worth.
