Room design and quality was off the charts good. The toilet was so high tech that it alone was worth the stay.

The lobby turns into a night club after 7pm. Although they say the rooms are sound proofed, it does not stop low vibrating noise into the room. Also, the street gets rowdy after the club exits at 1:30-2am that the noise can be heard from the street and the windows are not sound proofed.

The name of the hotel says it all! Might not be for everyone but this hotel offers a unique experience on another level. Love the dark smokey environment (dry ice type) that enters the whole area come the evening from the restaurant to the main lobby. Room (executive) was very good and a nice touch with a free bottle of champagne to start of the mini-break. The 3m high rain shower probably the best I have experienced at any hotel. The mini-spa/pool/steam room worth a visit too. The hotel was situated in an ideal location to meet our requirements. We tended to use Uber/Taxis service. The metro is just under a 10min walk. Did not eat breakfast or try the main restaurant so unable to pass comment. Good cocktails and service at the main bar- when you can see them😀

Lighting control probably seemed a good idea on paper but it is not practical and I don’t want to spend my time having to work it out. The dates we chose worked out at €950 a night and you would have thought soft toilet tissue would be a given! Personally for us the theme was great but would not entertain more than a four night stay.

A brand new concept hotel, very naughty and interesting. Good location at the Marais (although the nearest metro stations are 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel). Very professional and attentive staff, nice atmosphere and there's a thought behind every detail. Good and strong shower, quiet and strong A/C, comfy king size bed. Very quiet rooms - no noise at all from the vibrant street outside.

While we stayed at August there was only a-la carte breakfast. Good food and perfect service, but we prefer a buffet breakfast. The swimming pool is not really a swimming pull - it's a (very) large jacuzzi. Nice for a quick dip, but no more than that.

the room is comfortable. the electricity impossible to comprehand

breakfast is simple, alla cart, no selection. they charge extra on very simple additions, such as a cup of coffee, in a 5 star hotel. the hotel keeps low light policy to a degree of danger in walking. we insisted that the light will be on near the elevator.

One of the most interesting, unusual and individual hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. The rooms are incredible, tastefully decorated and quirky. As the name suggests, this place has a dark side, not only in the decor, but in the slightly sinful nature of the place. There’s a dark prayer room, somewhat fashioned after a church, where you can sit and contemplate. The staff are simply brilliant, incredibly dressed and just the right mix of attentive and polite, without being in the slightest overbearing. The cocktail bar is a great place to have an evening drink, accompanied by the nightly DJ, and the cocktails are superb, as was all the other food we experienced here. The best hotel I have experienced in recent memory. I’ll be back.

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Rooms beautifully fitted-out and decorated ... including books, a turntable player with record, artworks...plus all the amenities (and quite a few extras on top) for a 5* hotel. Really comfortable...and well organized...a full wardrobe..large shower...douche toilets etc etc.

Restaurant and bar is totally overpriced...a simple coffee in the morning in the lobby is 9 EUR (3-4x the price outside the hotel!). Drinks at the bar in the evening (which is a cool place to hang out) are good quality but also overpriced...you better leave the hotel for food&drinks...lots of better choices within minutes walking distance in the Marais district.

The property if located in the upcoming/funky area of Marais. You can expect boutique stores and hip restaurants. Once you walk into the hotel the first thing that comes up is the complex scent that's perfectly chosen to compliment the dark and mysterious vibes. The staff at the reception was very helpful. Big thanks to Nathan, he walked up through the room and explained everything inside. He took the time to made up feel like home. The lighting of the room is meant to be quite dim but you can always adjust that level. The room was decorated tastefully with all the amenities you ask from a boutique/5 stars hotel. You're even provided with a turntable that actually works and connected to the room sound system. Not to mention the abundant of records to choose from.

During the night the reception area turns into a bar. So during the night you could hear loud noises. But that could be coming from the streets as our room is just on the 2nd floor. But the noise is at a manageable level. But if you're coming with children/baby, it's the downside you've to anticipate.

Our stay at the Sinner was excellent. Even though a lot of reviews say that it’s not really for kids, they did more for our kids (9 and 12) than most hotels. They had a PlayStation ready in our rooms, brought up treats for the kids every day (complimentary) and were overall just lovely. We had such a good time there and I can’t say enough good things about the staff - everyone was beyond friendly and accommodating. Also - fastest room service I’ve ever had!

exceptional service. I had requested for a baby cot, but they had also provided a baby sleeping bag, a soft toy and blanket, a changing wedge, baby bath, and a baby bottle warmer + steriliser. It was above and beyond my expectations and my baby had GREAT sleep! also, great location!!

not too keen on the red dark light in the elevator but it is part of the hotel theme and this is just very much my own preference!

Behind the very fashionable exterior lies an exceptionally well run hotel. Perhaps not suited to those looking for a quiet stay as there is some noise from the club on weekends, but no one visits Le Marais for quietness. I was extremely comfortable and my 17year old daughter enchanted.

i would have liked some more light in the lift area, the dungeon effect was perhaps too extreme. But it does guarantee privacy. i would have liked some tea/coffe making equipment in the room
