The location was exceptional: close to cafes, shopping, metro and bus stops and yet not too busy, as some other Paris neighborhoods seemed to be. The hotel was quiet and the room spacious with a sitting area and plenty of storage. The bathroom area was set apart and was also quite large and user-friendly.
Hand towels in the public bathroom rather than individual paper towels didn't seem hygienic to me. The housekeeping was not as good and detailed as I would have liked. Dust was evident on some wood surfaces and used cutlery in our room was not replaced until the following day.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I had a king sized, super comfy bed. I had two complimentary cool water bottles, fizzy and still, in the fridge. There was also complimentary tea and coffee. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was also very roomy. The whole room had a lot of natural light as it had several windows. Mine was in a corner, which allowed me two views of this very lively neighbourhood. They are super pet friendly, not charging me a cent for bringing my dog with me. Staff were also very professional and polite.
I'd rather I had had a shower and not a bathtub. My room didn't have air conditioning, which is generally not an issue in Paris, except during and exception summer heatwave.

A nice hotel in a great area of Paris! Very easy to navigate the check in and check out. They also scheduled us a taxi to take us back to the airport. Comfortable room that was clean and a pretty large bathroom. Had an elevator which can be rare in Paris!
The only thing I can think of is that the room was a bit small if you had a child that you were travelling with or had a large amount of luggage. It was a busier area, so if you want complete silence it could not be the neighborhood for you.

My room (19) only had a large tub with no attachment for the handheld shower head or shower curtain, so unless I constantly wanted to hold the shower head up myself and flood the floor somewhat, I had to bathe instead of showering, which was annoying in the morning and not relaxing. apparently this is the only room with that problem but as the place was fully booked, I couldn’t switch rooms. it was also a bit noisy, even for the location where you should expect some street noise.

The best possible situation in Paris as so many places were within walking distance. The hotel itself was very good indeed. I love and older style, more personal hotel and this one was really homely and quirky. Lovely breakfast room in the underground cellar! Very helpful staff too.Loved it!

Brilliant and friendly reception team. Superb location and a room that was like a home away from home. Great info on the area re restaurants etc and sorted out at a very good cost a shuttle to the airport for us. The room was promptly serviced too every day to a high standard. Monoprix shop next door too.

Our first room assignment was not ideal, but staff helped and all was well. Lovely place, great location. Le Marais is a wonderful area to be in and the hotel is tres charmant, tres historique.

I had a fabulous stay at Hotel de la Bretonnerie. It is a quaint hotel in a great area. I loved the decor and the energy of the place. The staff were fantastic! Very friendly and always willing to help.
Some of the plugs didn't work 100% and the bar fridge seemed to be on the blink. That being said- the staff were great and happy to sort things out.

The hotel was very close to the Rue de Rivoli with plenty restaurants close by.The bedroom was really quiet .It was great to have a separate toilet from the bathroom.

A fantastic location in the wonderful Marais district, within easy reach of all the attractions of central Paris and many good bistros and restaurants. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and served in a characterful cellar room.
