SUITES@SYNGROU-FIX

The suite was lovely. Big comfortable bed, huge room, big tv, nice bathroom with a spa bath. Tea and coffee facilities, basically everything it said in the description. Housekeeping was done everyday, changed towels etc The reception staff where brilliant (especially Christina) Very accommodating, very pleasant and helpful. So much so, our flight home wasn’t till 10pm, and they let us stay until 4pm, even though checkout was 11am. They never charged us for the extra few hours, which was very good of them. The only downside, (which has nothing to do with the hotel), the area is a let down. BUT, hey ho! Breakfast was plenty, we didn’t starve! We would stay there again. Oh, last but not least, it’s a 15/20 minute walk to the acropolis and city centre … do what we did, get yourself lost and find your way back…. Once you’ve done it, you’ll know the place like you’ve been there for ever.

The actual suites are in a different block, you had to walk about 50mtrs down the road to the hotel for breakfast. Also, again this is NOT a criticism, when you book your stay, it says the suites are on Falirou, BUT you have to check in at the actual hotel 50mtrs down the road.. just be aware of that. We were a bit confused, but it wasn’t a problem

Breakfast was delicious, Great variety for everyone.

We booked this suite because It was advertised as a two bedroom unit, however it was not two bedrooms. It was one bedroom with two twin beds in the living room. It should NOT be advertised as a two bedroom suite. there was not even a curtain to pull to give privacy while sleeping. The other couple we were with had a to go rent an additional room.

The suite was big, spacious, very clean and comfortable. It corresponds to the description totally - big room divided into two spaces - living room and bedroom. The bathroom is very good, we adored it 😂 no problems with hot water. we were there in February-March and were afraid it would be cold, but no, the conditioner worked properly and it was very warm in the room. The bed was also very spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts are very good) The place of the hotel is also perfect - close to the historic center. We received all the needed help and everybody was very kind to us.

we didn’t find any drawbacks.

everything was exceptional. The location was from a waking distance from most of the touristic attractions also the metro station is across the street so if you are not up to walking you can also take the metro not to mention that it was a perfectly safe neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was phenomenal and the rooms were spotless clean.

Excellent location and room. Had a 3 bedroom apartment which was 2 stories and worked perfect for our 5 person family. Extremely well outfitted and facilities were great. Location to the acropolis was an easy 5-minute walk about had access to lots of food and other locations.

Pretty noisy location and the windows didn't keep out much noises as well as the door to the main stairwell was very loud.

Large studio apartment with great amenities. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of local Greek food. Air-conditioning was nice in hot summer Athens.

Only issue is the shower doesn't have a curtain and the shower nozzle is low without a place to hang it above your head. So you have to shower sitting down on the side of the bathtub.

Not sure why this hotel has 3 stars, looks like at least 4 stars hotel for me. 1. It has everything required to make you stay comfortable. 2. Huge balcony 3. The overall building looks secure 4. Nice and tasty breakfast (it actually has quite good and fresh options) 5. Close to the metro, close to the center. 6. Good looking furniture. Nice shower style.

Clean, quiet, freshly renovated. It's close to underground parking near the Fix metro station, so quite convenient for someone who drives to Athens and then chooses public transport to get around.

Cleaning staff entered the room without knocking/asking. It did not bother ME but probably could be an issue for someone who wanted privacy. Also, you check in in the hotel which is nearby, then guided by staff to the building with suites. Shower/toilet in this 'loft' style (see photos) - just saying as some might not like it much, but everything clean and nice.

We came here to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and first, the staff were amazing! They helped me to organize a surprise for her birthday. The room was amazing. Super comfy bed, plenty of pillows, jaccuzi was extremely comfortable, the location is great with lots of cafes, bars, and restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel exceeded the average breakfast. And the cherry on the top was the staff. Always smiling, always helpful, and We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

We where directly going to the address mentioned in the booking, but it seems that we needed to go to the Hotel to get the keys because there is a keylock door at the Suites. Nobody told us that and it was not clear at the booking site, so maybe it could be better communicated. We called the number on the front door and all get arranged, but if you knew that it was only 50mtr away we could walked till there.
