The Athenian Callirhoe Exclusive Hotel

The location was really great! We were able to walk to the acropolis and even have dinner on the rooftop. All staff was friendly and eager to assist us!

Our A/C in our room did not work so we had to sleep with the windows open. Very hot evening.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Always a lovely atmosphere at breakfast and met some lovely fellow travellers during dinner in the scenic restaurant on the top floor - scenic because, once the sun goes down, there is a magnificent view of the Acropolis by night. The room was always clean and sheets and towels changed as needed. The location was excellent for metro, tram, Hop on/Hop off buses and the old town - we walked everywhere, but sampled all the transport too. So all good and no complaints at all.

There was nothing to dislike.

Not happy with breakfast. Had to keep asking for coffee and fresh orange not a success I’m afraid total shambles more juice on tray and a lot of pulp in the glass also jugs not marked as to the contents . Also glass screen in bathroom may need a bit of an adjustment as you have to get in bath to turn water on. Emptying bath for a child can’t be reached unless you get in bath yourself .

The reception staff is just fantastic. We actually made friends in the hotel. Always in a good mood, with great hospitality. Alexandros in particular was very nice to chat with. They really care about your stay. - Very Quiet Room! One of the most quietest rooms we've been in our life. And it was in the middle of Athens. - The view to the Parthenon from the room. - The hotel room was fantastic, very comfortable, nice clean air.

The AC worked really well but the temperature control didn't do much. Wasn't a problem, since the temperature was fine.

Staff were great, rooms spacious ( got the premium double ) and the hotel itself was really modern and clean. The restaurant with acropolis view was great.

would have been nice to have been a little closer to syntagmus square in hindsight. Also a better view from the room but I suppose that is luck of the draw!

Staff were great and very friendly, location was very handy for bars restaurants and transport. Roof terrace restaurant served great food and drink, always going the extra mile to keep us happy.

More modern bedrooms would be nice with a proper shower rather than an over bath shower but that seems to be the norm in Greece.

The room was spacious with balcony (although not much of a view. Staff was very very helpful even packed me a takeaway breakfast as I had a very early flight before buffet breakfast was serviced. The hotel is very close to Plaka which is very lively with bars and restaurants and also very closed to major attractions. It was a very comfortable stay.

the room was exceptionally clean and large with a very roomy bathroom. our balcony faced a church and we woke up to church bells and the choir. the breakfast was way more than I expected. we had dinner at the top floor restaurant with a magnificent view of the a Acropolis at night. I will definitely stay here again if I come back.

The location and friendly and attentive staff is what sets this hotel apart. The room was clean, spacious and well-appointed. Particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. We were even offered Greek coffee which was a real treat for us. We also enjoyed a cocktail at the rooftop bar with great views of the Acropolis

Good position for visiting the center, decent breakfast, friendly staff, restaurant with view to Acropolis on top.

Very loud from the street; the AC was not working because they said was not necessary in October, which is not true, and sleeping with open window is impossible due to the street noise. We were upgraded for free to some "superior" rooms with ugly view in the back side but at least we could sleep.
