DOM Boutique Hotel

Exactly what you would expect from a boutique hotel. The hotel was either recently renovated or was new so everything was clean and in excellent condition. Room was of a good size, clean, well maintained and the hotel room supplies were more than adequate and replenished on a daily basis. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a very good selection of either cold or hot food to choose from. From a value standpoint; outstanding.

Only minor downside was the location, it's nestled in an area that's a little rundown however is within walking distance of some great restaurants, markets and attractions.

This hotel is in a great location! Very walkable to the water, port, and city center. It's also not too far from the airport which was nice. The staff was very friendly here! They greeted us with fresh lemonade upon arrival and were able to accommodate an early check in. The front desk staff gave us stunning dinner recommendations each nice and even helped us translate some greek documents we needed to sign for the remainder of our trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Overall this property was wonderful but the design of our bathroom was a little strange. The toilet and shower were separated next to each other but they shared a sliding door. If the door was closed for the shower then the toilet is open - if the door was closed for the toilet, then the shower was open. Not super great if you're sharing a space with 3 people! There were also these windows that opened in the bathroom into an empty elevator shaft which were a little strange. Other than that, great if you're looking for a quick and clean stay!

Helpful friendly staff. Room was very spacious and lovely view over Heraklion and surrounding area. Balcony/outdoor space was fantastic. Hot tub was brilliant when it was working. Excellent location for exploring Heraklion and surrounding area. Good value room service.

Lift to the sixth floor was a bit snug. Breakfast choice was fantastic but the hot breakfast items were not kept very warm. Hot tub broke down after 2 days which was disappointing but the hotel staff were very apologetic and swiftly offered a refund for the days it was not available which was paid swiftly.

1- The position is nearby the city center, but far from the noise, 2- the staff was very supportive and nice: for example we asked for help in renting a car and they organized a meeting in the hall with a representative of a local car rental company. The found solution was matching our expectations and we had not "bad surprises" in the end returning the car at la Canhia airport. 3- clean and confortable room.

A small remark: the "little flood" after I had shower, even if I kept the shower box closed.

We can't say enough good things about the Dom. The location is perfect - steps away from everything but on the quiet side of a small park. Literally dozens of restaurants within a five minute walk, and interesting shopping. The harbour, fortress, and marvellous archeology museum are a 10-15 minute walk. The small hotel is modern, sparkling clean and very well equipped. Staff are lovely and extremely efficient -- daily housekeeping, fresh towels every day. Everyone is friendly, helpful and upbeat. And the buffet breakfasts (included in the price) are fabulous. We paid 100 Euros a night for a 5th floor room with a balcony and view of the water, a terrific price for everything we got.

the AC was great, we liked the design of the room and the big bed, windows block out most of the noise very nice and helpful stuff

the bathroom door was not closing properly leaving us with no privacy where it’s very much desired the breakfast was nice but it was literally the same every single day and not refilled promptly enough would be great if the coffee was better too. we tried it once and since then went out for coffee for the rest of our stay baby high chairs weren’t very clean and we cleaned them ourselves every time

The view from our terrace and the jacuzzi(top floor / junior suite); the room was really nicely furnished and everything functioned very well; the location was great as a starting point for sightseeing and a supermarket was close by; we got a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and a plate of fruits

The jacuzzi was really nice, only a bit older (some parts broken/crack on the brim) and we had the feeling it was not super squeaky clean, but altogether fine!

The breakfast was a 10/10! GF option available upon request. The property had two elevators, always looked and smelled clean. The staff were professional and so helpful. My sister and I wanted to get a massage, and there wasn’t any available with the hotel’s first option. The receptionists looked for another location (Biowellness center) for a same day reservation! They even had an early breakfast option because we had an early flight.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, especially if you have low back or hip pain. Also, make sure to pack an eye mask, as the light filters onto the room through the bathroom glass door.

At our arrival we were welcomed with a nice fresh drink while checking in and receiving information about the hotel. The staff was very helpful and elegant. The room was refreshing to walk into, clean and modern with another bottle of water and wet towels waiting for us. This was our last hotel in our roadtrip and we were happy to end our vacation here. Breakfast has plenty of options and very delicious in a beautiful dining room. Location of the hotel is also brilliant, walking distance from the port (where we arrived) and right in the old town with cozy restaurants and shops. I read a few bad reviews for this place, my advice is to ignore them and book your stay anyway :)

The room we booked included breakfast and it was delicious with international and Greek breakfast. The restaurant area is comfortable and have a nice terrace. All was fresh prepared, and the personnel was supportive and nice. The room was good size, we slept with our 4-year-old in the double bed and it was good. The toilet was super clean, and the honey shampoo, conditioner and soap provided were good. The check in process is fast and the installations are great. The hotel is in the city center well located because you can either reach the port or the city in few minutes, they have arrangement with a parking in front of the hotel. We really enjoyed.

The door of the toilet was a little bit restricting but is minor complain. In general, the hotel was new and good. There was an issue with the air-condition but they immediately solved that.
