Kronos Hotel

Everything was nice. Hotel is on nice Location that is first what we liked . Infront of Sea and few min from centrum of city where is so much nice restaurants and food is amazing . In November already all things are closed but was nice warm/hot . First beach is Amurada 15 min by taxi 18e By bus 2e. Hotel staff was so nice. Woman on reception was always nice and she has lovely smile. Special Thanks to housekeeping they were so nice and they were helping on brekfast and room was perfect clean and always fresh They were frendly,nice and always ready to help.

Room was nice, but little bit small. Toilet door was not good they was like glass for bath or shower + you can’t close them and in ventilaton is not working Well Toilet is so small and after shower toilet was wet Because water is coming from wall. Hotel has good Location but a lot of traffic.

It was easy to reach by taxi from the airport, 18 eur fixed price. Very friendly and helpful personnel, assisted with getting information regarding Crete must see places and car rental. Free water and coffee. Wonderful location near the center and Venice port. Arranged top floor and sea view on special request. Will return again with pleasure.

Rather limited choice of fresh stuff, would like to have more green salads and fruit. Street side pretty noisy, could not sleep with open window. Car park options very limited nearby, few spaces next to the hotel might be occupied, you should ask this question in advance.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I booked a single room with a city view and was given a large room with double/queen bed and a balcony with ocean view as well as a city view. The room was very clean and comfortable. Reception area was cool, calm and restful. Lovely to walk into from the hot and busy city. The staff went out of their way to help and were friendly and welcoming, from reception, breakfast staff and cleaners. It’s on the waterfront, right near the city center and walking distance to most sights. Free breakfast was a bonus with a buffet style of good fresh variety.

Wonderful breakfast. In January, it is the off-peak season for Heraklion, with not many tourists around. During those days, we might have been the only guests at the hotel. Despite the low occupancy, we were not treated with any neglect. Every staff member made us feel at home, and their fluent English made communication smooth. The hotel's location is excellent, offering beautiful views of the sea and the fortress. Taking a stroll along the seaside was a great choice. We are very pleased with our decision to stay at this hotel!

Nikos checked us in and was very helpful with all details. Plus guiding me as to where to safely park the rental car. Breakfast was delicious and Katerina made a platter, to take to the room for my friend, who was not feeling very well. Jenny was very attentive and understanding about my friend.

Everything was 100% of expectation.

We arrived around 10 in the morning; we just wanted to leave our luggage, go to Knossos Palace, and then come back in the afternoon to check in. Constantine and his wife Elena greeted us warmly. Truly, it felt like they had been waiting to welcome us all their life. Constantine needed a minute to check when the room would be ready and in the meantime offered us to have coffee and juice in the breakfast room and Elena treated us to delicious Greek pastries and watermelon (which was all extra, not expected; she didn't need to do any of this; it was just a nice gesture of making us feel like welcome guests). All the staff of the hotel were super helpful with suggestions on how to get where we wanted to go, what to see first, etc. When we came in the afternoon to check in, we were once again pleasantly surprised that we were given a room with a huge L-shaped balcony facing the sea, the mountains, the fortress, and the port. It was fantastic. So Kronos, in its class of non-luxury hotels, is at the top of the list for service, staff, location, and cleanliness. The following morning, we walked to our ferry in just 15 min. An important feature for me was that the air conditioner was placed sensibly in the room, not right above the headboard but in the corner, so we could sleep comfortably without worrying that we would wake up with a head cold. I would definitely stay at Kronos again if I come to Heraklion.

We stayed one night to catch the Santorini ferry in the morning. It is an older hotel but still well maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and served early enough for us to check out and go to port for the 8am ferry.

It was ok. NOT close to the airport. Good for Heqrklion center. Good locarion! The hotel offers "parking included". It is better if you go by taxi .

The parking that they offer is a public parking located a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. It is very incovenient to unload your lugagge and the go to park and comeback walking for 15 minutes through a heavy traffic. They entice you with free parking...sure thing since is like 1 euro for 24 hours ..lol. of course they pay that for you but it is not clear the whole situation to have to walk back and forth etc. Etc.

Our stay here was exceptional thanks to the kind, caring and wonderful staff. The location is ideal for either walking to explore the area or accessing transport and the port. The breakfast provided has good variety and more than sufficient. The availability of hot and cold drinks is very generous and the room was super comfortable and spacious. We had sea views which could be enjoyed from the balcony despite the windy weather. All up there was not one negative thing of note. A big thank you to all @ Kronos

Everything was excellent

The staff were absolutely amazing, happy to share knowledge and advice on places to visit, call for schedules and everything else you might need. The room was good size. The view was stunning (we had a sea view). The terrace was a very good size and overlooked the sea.

The room could be cleaned a little better (specifically the bathroom window). The shower head wouldn't stay up so that might benefit from some TLC. The fridge was tiny and the freezer didn't really work. The aircon was very noisy so we didn't use it in the end. The location was very noisy but that was expected.
