Very nice hotel with an excellent located within a 5min walk from the ferryboat port, the KTEL bus station and the main pedestrian streets and tourist sites of the city. Polite and sympatric staff at the reception, always ready to help you with anything you may need. My travel was work related so I stayed in a single room which was not very big but the veranda with partial sea view was a surprising bonus. The hotel manager even provided me with a table so I could work on the veranda. The best part of this hotel is the roof top restaurant where the breakfast is served. The view is unforgettable !

Stayed for one night, and found it clean, comfortable, and convenient. Steps away from good restaurants and an easy drive (via cab, didn't explore parking options) to the airport in the morning. Front desk clerk assisted with coffee in the morning--the bar in the lobby wasn't self-serve, though it looked like it should be. A bit confusing, but turned out fine.

Hotel was mid-renovation. Lobby very modern and up-to-date, and my room was good but a co-worker reported mold in her shower and less clean/comfortable room. I didn't check it out, so can only report that *my* room and bathroom were just fine.

Property location was very good especially when coming from a ferry. You can easily walk to the hotel from the port, as long as your luggage is of a manageable size. Lobby was clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and was quite nice with a top floor view of the port. In-room AC worked well. Beds were comfortable.

Rooms are acceptable but very institutional in feel. No color, no wallpaper, no decor of any type to speak of. We had some plumbing issues with a shower and sink that were draining very slowly, such that only a short shower could be taken without the basin overflowing. Accordion-style shower enclosure had some mildew.

Very friendly receptionist who informed us about everything we needed to know about the hotel itself, where and when breakfast was served. Fantastic view from the breakfast room on the 6th floor. We were allowed to come to breakfast 15 minutes before opening time, as we were to travel on with an early boat. The receptionist called and ordered a taxi for us and within 2 minutes it was outside.

Nothing really, but to write something, it was a bit noisy when someone came in late at night...... As is very common in Greece, the lift was not the biggest, with luggage we chose to take the lift separately.....

The room was clean, although the bathroom could be better with bigger showers and its door was not so easy to open and close. The breakfast was great, and the breakfast room has a great view to the port on the 6th floor.

Unfortunately, our air conditioner was dripping and we asked for a fixing, we received more towels to absorb the water. It started to drip in the night and could not sleep, we asked for a new room, but instead they told that it will be fixed tomorrow (we left that day) and they left some towels for the water. After all, we received a new room, but I think they should have offered the new room for the first time, because there was no full house. I do not consider that I should change the wet towels in the night for my money, and I went there to relax.

Very nice reception area, kind and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast with even ambiance with a view of the port. I had booked an additional night separately because there was not another room of the same kind available per booking.com, but when we arrived it was all good - they had taken care of it and we did not have to switch rooms. We arrived by car. It was odd at first to figure out how to unload luggage, but there are two temporary parking spots next to the entrance coming down the alley/hill. They were full at first so we just unloaded really quickly and by the time my spouse made the block a spot opened up so we could walk in and check in. There are two parking lots very close to park your car so it was not an issue at all and very cheap. The location is awesome! Overlooking the port, but also easy walk to the center, shopping, and restaurants. Plani restaurant is only a block up the hill and right down ariadnis street - between the hotel and this restaurant there was nothing more we needed. We ate all over the touristy sites and Plani was far better and only about a 2 minute walk away. When we arrived we were tired and staff made me a cappuccino and poured my spouse wine and had bottled water. Very nice staff.

The bathrooms are a bit dated, but clean and functional and the balcony and space and comfort of the room made up for it.

The staff (Nombas and another man whose name I forget) couldn't have been more kind, helpful, and friendly. I stayed two nights a week apart in two different rooms, and both were sparkling clean and sleekly designed. Huge windows and a balcony overlooking the harbor, especially in my second room which had a gigantic terrace. The breakfast room on the top floor has huge picture windows all around and the breakfast bar is super, loaded with Cretan delicacies.

I can't think of anything. The location is super for waling to all the historic parts and the Archeological Museum. It isn't exactly a charming corner of Heraklion, but then there aren't many charming corners of Heraklion, and I would rather NOT be in a hyper-touristed location. It was very peaceful except for the airplane noise overhead, but you'll have that everywhere in Heraklion..

The hotel is very well placed, in front of Venetian Port and very close to the center of town. The rooms facing the sea offer a beautiful view, they are good phonic isolated and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, you can choose between a lot of dishes. Is served at the roof floor and offers an amazing panoramic view over the port. You can park the car on the streets arround or in the parking close to the hotel (which is better) where you can have a discount based on the agreement between the parking and the hotel.

The cleaning in the bathroom was ok but can be improoved.

the view is wonderful to the fortress and the port (for those lucky enough to get a room with a view). Breakfast has several options, including typical Greek products. and you make your own orange juice (the oranges are always fresh and delicious). The staff are kind and attentive.

all the positive points highlighted make guests overlook the chronic problem of this hotel: mold in the bathrooms (I confirmed what I had read in the comments). More effective cleaning products should do the trick.

The hotel was perfectly located for exploring Heraklion - it was short walk to the main pedestrian street with many cafes, shops, etc. - and a short walk to the harbour (e.g., to catch the Hop on Hop Off bus) and a short walk to the main square to catch the pubic busses to the beaches - which is also where the Archeological Museum is located. The hotel itself was great - our room was spacious and had a small balcony and a great view over the harbour. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was great and the staff were friendly. They offered good advice - e.g., on nearby beaches and the public buses (which were around 2 Euro compared to taxis that were around 20 Euro)

We were really happy with everything - perhaps an improvement could be to provide guests with the public bus timetables in English as they did not seem to be available online. Most other information - e.g., museum opening times, etc. were available online. Also a printing service for online check in would be appreciated.
