Gold Coast Resort Dungarvan

Very spacious house for 8 with balcony. Swimming pool, etc really great as the kids went every day. Also had tennis court though we didn't have time to use it. My older boys appreciated the gym. Lovely staff, very helpful and sorted out any requests very quickly. In beautiful location, near greenway so rented bikes and beautiful beaches as well as lovely cliff walk at Ardmore. Really good value. Definitely recommend.

The oven needs another shelf and more oven trays to cook for 8 people.

A very spacious well laid out house. Lovely friendly staff at the pool, very nice pool and facilities.

Having to pay extra for gas and electricity. The house was very cold when we arrived and took hours to warm up. There seemed to be one sofa split across the 2 living areas, it needed more seating. Also needed more towels, we were given 4 small towels for 7 people. The hotel and houses are very far away from Dungarvan, I thought it would be walkable but definitely not.

dishwasher broken and hardly worked. all the markings have gone. washing machine - all the markings have gone gas hob - too old to work and all the markings have gone. so didn’t understand which setting to put on all the appliances. dryer - didn’t work at all. difficult to dry baby clothes given the rainy and winters weather. given that we booked a self catering villa it was very difficult to self cater. None of the appliances worked and they all are our dated Bathrooms had no lock. such a pity.

We stayed at the resort with the family and friends and had a great time. The kids as well as the adults really enjoyed the swimming pool. The house was very spacious. Rooms were of good size. The staff was friendly. Everything worked in the house. The location of the resort was excellent as well! very near to the beautfil Dungarvan. We will definitely visit again!

The house was a bit old/ basic. A few necessary cooking utensils were missing which we then had to buy.

The house was huge and the pool facilities where very good. The location is beautiful right on the sea. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had to change the arrival date twice and this was no issue at all for the staff. Food in the bar was really good. We will definitely be going back.

Our cottage was lovely just could do with the following Good few bulbs on stairs etc not working, a floor brush, we did not have a clothes line.

Spacious house lovely area. Swimming pool clean and fun for kids.

A little far from shops, or kids amenities or entertainment. Bar manager v rude to those in a family resort although I fully knowledge a golf resort too.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was good, accommodation was big and spacious. The lodge house could easily have fitted another 4 people.

Heating system in house was not great. House lost heat quickly.

The houses are lovely… basic and clean. Food in the hotel is lovely and staff are amazing

the cooker needs replacement and the toaster kept tripping the switch in the fuse board also there is no blackout blinds so 6am is really bright

The location was excellent, near the sea, with kids playground and greenarea to play on. We stayed in the 3-bedroom villa with 2 kids. We all loved it! The facilities were satisfying. The only thing missing was soap, shampoo, etc. These were however the self-catering facilities. Lovely swimming pool.
