The owner John and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast room was beautifully set out with lovely crockery.John offered to give us a lift to Youghal which was 5 minutes away, and we were grateful for that. Youghal itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the traditional bars, especially Tynans.

Couldn't get a taxi back at 11:30pm. A bar man at the Imperial Hotel phoned 3 different companies for us

We received a most cordial welcolme from the proprietors who were most helpful and informative about Youghal and area. They were very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very much at home. The house was situated overlooking the bay and it was a good centre for planning journeys to placec of interest. Very convenient for Youghal bur also right beside the by-pass while being quiet and private.

We were warmly welcomed by the hosts & treated to biscuits with our cup of tea while making use of the lounge to watch sport on TV. We made use of one of the dinner recommendations in Youghal & were not disappointed. We loved our spacious room with it's water view & were impressed with the breakfast we were served as part of the cost of our stay

No napkins at breakfast - just a little detail

this was a last-minute booking because of changed travel plans. we had a late check-in but the hosts, who had sent us an excellent google maps location for finding the right turn-off, were very friendly and the house was exceptionally well furnished and located, overlooking the picturesque bay of Youghal. The breakfast was perfect, full Irish but not greasy and with fine coffee.

We had a wonderful time at Ardsallagh Lodge, it was just like being at home. Aniko, Eva and John were very kind, helpful and caring. We got excellent suggestions of the surroundings of Youghal. Breakfast was delicious, too. The rooms were clean, large and comfy with Netflix and even a whirlpool. From our room we saw the sea. We highly recommend this place!

Warm welcome, ample space for parking, the room/bathroom was spacious and very clean. There was a TV with Netflix in the room which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was honestly really good, very tasty food/coffee, we even had homemade muffins ! The location was perfect for us as we were here for an event in Youghal (5min by car). I highly recommend it !

Fantastic hospitality with a beautiful view. The road into Youghal is a bit dangerous to walk on in the dark, so John went out of his way to give us a lift in time to get an evening meal and we got a taxi back. Lovely breakfasts with delicious homemade muffins. We would definitely recommend Ardsallagh Lodge for comfort and wonderful hospitality.

This is a wonderfully run bed and breakfast. Both property owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful! I look forward to coming back and staying again! John was amazingly generous with his time, as I didn't have a car to get from the center of Youghal to Ardsallagh, but he was super helpful and helped me get to where I needed.

We arrived late and were welcomed with a friendly smile and an offer of tea or coffee. We were made to feel welcome. The room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was delicious and they catered for me being gluten intolerant. Suggestions were made on places to visit. Ample on site parking.

Breakfast was most enjoyable and always hot and freshly cooked to order. Plenty of food catering for continental taste alongside traditional British.

A mirror in reach of a plug for hairdryer would have been useful - I moved the one from bathroom.
