Location and facilities were absolutely fantastic. As the rate wasn't exactly cheap, it really should have included breakfast though. The mark-up on the breakfast would have been a bit much to be honest.

That breakfast wasn't included in what wasn't a cheap overnight rate.

The food at the Jameson Bar Restaurant was excellent. The staff at the restaurant were excellent. The room was perfect - we booked a family room and it was a very good size with an amazing view of the golf course. The proximity to walking on the beach was excellent. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the Wicklow mountains and the proximity to the Howth Cliff Walk. Malahide is a nice town to visit nearby.

The breakfast was okay, the morning staff seemed rushed and a bit disorganized. Easier access to seating in the courtyard near breakfast room and Jameson bar. We would have liked to sit out there to read, drink tea, and enjoy the weather. Our shower smelled a bit musty.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, very well maintained, and clean. The location to the beach was why we chose to stay here and it did not disappoint. The views were gorgeous and just a short walk to the beach.

Due to a flight delay we got into our room later than we planned. We were traveling with our two small kids who still needed to eat dinner. Since it was a bit later we had to order off of the limited late room service menu. Both myself and one of my kids have dairy allergies and everything in the menu had dairy. The items were premade and couldn't be altered to accommodate our allergies aside from a simple pasta dish. The food took a long time to arrive and the pasta was obviously microwaved and was very dry and rubbery. Normally it wouldn't bother me as much, however, for the price of the hotel and the food there should have been much better options and accommodations for allergies.

This very comfortable Hotel on the Beach Road overlooks Portmarnock Beach and enjoys clear views of Lambay Island to the left and Howth Head to the right. Our Room was spacious, clean and very relaxing. We enjoyed Breakfast every morning and Evening Meal at night - food was very good and choice was excellent! All Hotel Staff were pleasant, efficient and welcoming.

I did not like having to leave!

A great stay! the staff were so lovely and welcoming, the restaurant is very nice, and the room was large and comfy! Parking is free, large and close. Very close to the airport (15-20 minutes) and close to Dublin (30 minutes to city center). The area is also very nice and other restaurants are reachable by foot.

The water in the bath weren't hot enough. In addition, a fridge/mini-bar could have valuable. Regarding the parking, the hotel is only accessible by stairs (which was tough for me as someone with joint problems). Overall, a very good experience! yet quite pricey.

Family room, spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice

The room was very hot. We used the fan provided but that made it difficult to sleep with the noise of the fan. The pillows were to hard. My son also complained about them giving him a sore neck. We paid €420 for one night B+B. This was quite pricey. We would’ve booked two nights, however two nights were priced as over €1000 Therefore for the 2nd night we travelled into the city center and got a much more reasonably priced accommodation. We would’ve preferred to stay at the same hotel

we loved the location with the beach on our door step . breakfast was good staff were lovely . the hotel had a lovely relaxing feel about it. We loved the garden area for food as the weather was beautiful with the added feature of heated lamps in the evening such a lovely cosy feel

we stayed in the fairway suits which was spacious but our view was of the carpark on the ground floor when we thought we would have a garden view as stated in the booking.

Convenient location close to village of malahide in which we ate for the evenings we were there, I had asked a young man in the bar area for a menu and he suggested that we should go to the village as the hotel restaurant was getting a refurb and the menu by looking at it was just bar type food.

Had a room which was very close to the hotel drop off zone and was noisy as had vehicles dropping guests off late and picked up early! as you can imagine the noise of tiny caster wheels of suitcases going over a brick layed courtyard very annoying. But saying that the room had a good view of the sea and beds were really comfy, ear plugs needed for me for future trips I think.

Hotel, staff and food were excellent. Great choice at breakfast time, a couple of lovely dinners in the Jameson Bar and drinks. Staff so friendly and good humored, helpful. Our room was a good size and had a beautiful view. The location to travel around Dublin and outside was perfect. Would stay again.

Would have liked a small fridge in our room to keep water cool and tv reception quality was very poor but we didn't come to watch tv so not a big deal.

I am originally from the village, and I have stayed frequently at the hotel. The staff were excellent, friendly, responsive and very professional. The location is wonderful, not too far from the city centre, airport as well as Malahide and Howth. Upon arrival, once we were shown our room and we expressed our unhappiness the staff upgraded us to much nicer room.

The food was very disappointing, it was incredibly bland as was the coffee and tea. In the past, the food was wonderful, innovative and very tasty as the ingredients were organic and locally sourced from the community farmers. The carpets are in dire need of replacement as they are old and discolored. The Wifi server is not secure and I managed money for a living as result I could not work at the hotel as my clients personal and financial information would have been compromised
