B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus Al Duomo

Location to the train station and centre of the city.

Size of the shower cabinet and nowhere to place products other than on the floor. We found the room to be overly warm and the air conditioning adjustment didn’t help.

The location right in the Center. All around the hotel was great.

The pillows were uncomfortable and the entrance to the hotel was hard to find.

Breakfast, the breakfast staff, clean room , the bed was comfortable and the best of all is the location.

La tassa de soggiorno. On municipal website says the tax should be 4 or 4.8 per day and they have a sign on their desk saying it is 7 euros per day. So we were charged 7 euros per person, for each day.

Excellent location, close to all the tourist attractions. The breakfast is good. The room and the bathroom are small but comfortable and clean.

perfect location easy access to station abs heart of city. Couldnt ask for better at this price. Outside balcony for breakfast. Room a good size for city hotel.

Some quirky things like only one plug in bedroom and it would only charge phone if light on, which was no good as you invariably wanted to top off mobile devices overnight, especially if two in a room with two phones. Shower cold in morning but lovely and hot in evening.

The location is perfect, the room is big and the breakfast was great. All in all, it's was a great experience.

Maybe the interior could use some updates(considering this is a 4* hotel).

Staff were excellent and helpful to this couple of middle aged Canadians 😀 - especially Graziella! Check in was very easy and we were impressed the gentleman spoke French (sadly forget his name)! Thank u for enduring our attempts at Italian! We love the language. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Room was clean and neat and we slept well. Very pleased and would highly recommend this hotel.

I always like an extra blanket (and got one after asking). We read in bed so we’re pleased we each had two pillows. I would recommend providing bathrobes and wine glasses upon request - as they are always a nice touch. Provide directions walking from the train on website since Google Maps gives a much longer, convoluted route for some silly reason. It’s only a 5-7-minute walk!

This is an excellent boutique hotel in a superb location, just a stone's throw from the Duomo. The room was very clean, well appointed, comfortable, quiet (even though facing the street with a nice view). AC worked very well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooftop breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of baked goods, fruits, scrambled eggs and sausage, etc. Very good coffee. And the view of the Duomo and surroundings is a knockout. My wife and I enjoyed coffee on the rooftop and waved to our grandson, who had climbed the Duomo. It's hard to imagine there's a better hotel in the area.

It is a good classically-decorated hotel. The bed was very comfortable - it had lovely good quality soft bedsheets and pillows. The room was also well-heated which was important as it was cold outside. It had a desk and decent toiletries, and a decent bath-shower. The location is also perfect as it is right next to the Duomo.

My particular room did not too have much natural light as it faced a wall but this was not really an issue as I was not in during the day.

They fail to mention you have to pay an extra 30 euro a night for parking!!!!
