Arte' Boutique Hotel

The room was fantastic! Comfy beds and the towel warmer made laundry easy. The complimentary water and snacks was such a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located between the train station and the city’s main attractions

The staff were exceptional. Anything you wanted they would do for you and it was never too much trouble. The location of the hotel was central to the places of interest and within walking distance of some of the best restaurants in the city. The view from the upstairs terrace in the penthouse suite is spectacular. A highlight for us was during happy hour where they provided personalized service ensure you had a drink and refreshments and provided wonderful conversation and information about the best places to go and how to get there. I could not fault the excellent customer service,my partner and I felt very welcomed and valued as guests. I highly recommend this quality hotel.

The beds were comfortable, the showers were nice, the staff was really helpful, and the location is ideal (not too far from the Piazza del Duomo area, and not too far from the main train station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella; maybe about 10-15 minute walk). The area was fairly quiet as well, which was nice for a light sleeper like me.

The only minor inconvenience was that we would not check in early, but the front desk did allow us to store our luggage and bags while we were exploring the city. The hotel staff was nice enough to drop off our bags in our rooms so that once we checked in, our bags were already in our room!

We found it a bit of a challenge to find this hotel, as it is on the second floor of a palazzo and the signage is quite discreet, but once we got there we couldn't understand how we missed it. The room was very glamorous and stylish, with a small balcony looking onto a pretty central courtyard, a big bed and a big day bed. On the second day of our visit it was warm enough in the late afternoon to sit on our balcony for a little while. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful and gave us a map and directions to the main areas of the city. Later we asked her for a restaurant recommendation and she booked us into Trattoria San Lorenzo, about 5 minutes walk away, where we had a good meal. Although the hotel is on quite a quiet street, it is very central (5 minutes from the Duomo in one direction, 5 minutes from the Galleria dell’Accademia in the other).

It was a bit difficult to find somewhere to stash our cases once we had unpacked, but we eventually managed to store them under the desk.

Boutique with very few rooms so very intimate and private. despise being incredibly central it is incredibly quiet! my bed was very comfy and all was very clean. Lovely bar with beautiful ceilings and affrescos, overall glamorous design. Aneta is fantastic, she is very dedicated and genuinely loves her job. We had lovely friendly chats! spending the time of an aperitivo with her has been one of the highlights of my stay!

I was expecting a better view from my room, I think there is a private garden and other properties opposite me, so I had to keep the blinds pulled at all times. also unfortunately a scaffolding is obstructing the dome view.

Aneta is the heart of this place. My first journey to Florence started with her warmest greetings; her unostentatious recommendations about exploring the region, and her diligent attitude toward her work which kept fascinating me throughout my stay, - up to the very last moment of departure, when my taxi to the station that I asked for in advance arrived precisely to a second (such level of orchestrating everything is very impressive for not a 5-star hotel). No words to find to describe the team's professionalism and kindness! - The hotel location is simply great. 2 minutes of walk from Duomo. The location is very central and comfortable. You can even hear the sound of its magic bell ringing out of the hotel's window. - It also feels safe there which is important. Shopping streets, good restaurants, and museums are close by. - The breakfast at the hotel is very pleasant. Quite simple and basic, but has all the range of healthy choices (fresh fruit, eggs, fresh orange juice, artisanal cheese, etc.), and, again, the energy of the place is great, so you have all the chances to receive a charge of positive energy in the morning when starting your day. - They also offered me a welcome drink which was a nice gesture from their side, and a pleasant moment for me in the evening after a long walk through the charming streets of Firenze.

Overall, I did not find anything that I did not like. This place is fantastic. The only thing is that I was surprisingly bitten by mosquitoes at night. And still, the team has also foreseen that. So let us say it was rather my fault, as I found mosquito control in the room, but was lazy to use it 😄.

We had a tricky introduction to Florence as our car was broken into in Pisa on the way there and our luggage was stolen. We contacted the hotel to explain we would be very late arriving and they were very empathetic and helpful. Room was wonderful - as per pictures. Very well located to shops and tourist attractions. Staff were so genuine and lovely.

Everything..... I'm working in hotel business for 25 years and this hotel is perfection. Perfect location in the historic center. Perfect rooms with amazing unique design for each are exceptional, big space for short or long stay, all amenities you may need (bathrobe,slipper, many kit and cream,hairdryer), fridge with water, coffee machine,confortable bed, great shower with different option, big TV with Netflix,even a smart phone with all the touristic information. Perfect service, what a friendly staff, all the team is so nice and take care of our guest as great professional even before you arrive, Anita and Sabina make our trip as a dream for celebrating our wedding anniversary.... The best hotel in Florence, the quality rate is insane ... We feel to be in a palace for a so sheep rate. Thanks you so much and hope to come back soon.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Really close to the centre of the city and within walking distance of all major attractions. The hotel is very secure. It is quiet and in a lovely building on the second floor. Easily accessible via a lift and stairs. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very nice and served individually with items cooked fresh to order. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean.

The hotel asks you to specify what time you would like breakfast the next day - we didn't always know and felt a little pressurised by this. It would have been good if there were more seating areas to relax in in the hotel - or a bar.

Location was perfect, and the rooms was absolutely incredible. The staff was very friendly - an example was that we missed our breakfast on the first morning, but then they just arranged the breakfast on tables and served it in our room. We felt so spoiled and had a great time. The location is perfect. A short 3 minute walk from the big Duomo, and close to numerous restaurants and cafés. The hotel also offered complimentary snacks and drinks every afternoon. The service was absolutely fantastic.

The coffee both in room and the breakfast was made by Nespresso machines. But it is Italy - I could just get a great espresso at the street. :-)
