Great location and view.

The beds were very uncomfortable. You could feel the wood slates through the mattress. Also the toilet is difficult to use as it is wedged between the sink and a wall. You literally have to back up into the toilet to be able to use it.

location was fantastic, right on Pontevecchio Bridge. double glazing was very good as only slight noise outside. room had everything you need.

Location was fantastic. It was a perfect place to start/end our day of touring Florence. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We could hear the lively street below but it wasn't enough to be a negative for us - we just took it as part of our first experience in Florence.

Took a bit for the AC to cool to where it was more comfortable for us and the shower drained extremely slowly leaving standing water - but neither was enough dampen our experience with the accommodations or our stay in Florence. Would still highly recommend.

Proximity to the centre of Florence - literally a 30 second walk to the PonteVecchio and 5 mins to the glorious Piazza della Signora. 20 min walk to/from train station. Huge choice of eating places nearby. Quirky - not quite a hotel but more than a hostel. Very quiet and calm despite proximity to centre. Lovely bathroom. Coffee maker available at entrance. Lots of notes and recommendations on wall at entrance to rooms.

Aircon wouldn't go above 17° and it was hot. Room was big though so we slept ok. A wee bit tricky to locate but got there by process of elimination of other doors on the street.

Location and everything else. A stone throw away from Pontevecchio Bridge. What more could you ask for!!!! 6-minute walk to Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, not to mention all sorts of restaurants right at your doorstep. Also, lucky enough to receive an upgrade!!! THANKS Elisa!!!!! Elisa was very helpful with everything we needed to know. For example restaurants, sights and laundromat 🤪

The only thing we didn't like, which had absolutely nothing to do with our accommodation is the restaurant below, Mangia e Bevi. Total tourist trap, beware!!!

My husband and I stayed at Pontevecchio Relais for an overnight trip to Florence to indulge in the birthplace of the Renaissance. We had dreamed of doing this Florence + Rome trip for 20+ years. Pontevecchio Relais helped make the trip just magical! The building is 500 years old on the banks of the River Arno, so the views were incredible! The location couldn't be better - Ponte Vecchio is around the corner. The Uffizi Gallery and Plaza Signora just a few steps away. The best gelato place in the world called Gelateria dei Neri is a five to ten minutes walk away. Mr. Antonio very kindly checked us in earlier than our original arrival time. The room itself is pleasant. Since the building is 500 years old, the bathroom was a small modern addition to the room so as to not take up a lot of space. Still, it was clean and had all the necessities, plus a very nice modern bidet with a dryer. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return again soon. Grazie, Mr. Antonio and all of Florence for making our dream trip come true!

Nothing - Pontevecchio Relais is real deal Florence! I could imagine members of Botticelli's workshop staying here! Bellisimo!

The location of this property is just amazing. It’s few seconds away from some amazing bakeries and the Ponte Vecchio bridge itself! Uffizzi gallery is just a 3 min walk and the famous sandwhich shop is just 7 mins away. Everything is pretty close and all of Florence is walkable. Only thing to note is that the place you go for check in is not the place you’ll stay. Once you get your keys, you will need to walk around 5-7 mins to another building. We did not have issues finding the place either, it was quite easy. It is around a 20 min walk to the station so walkable as well.

Location was amazing, but quite busy and noisy. Since you are in the heart of the tourist district, everything is very close, but so are all the other tourists. Room and bathroom was very clean and neat and very comfy.

Upon arrival, there are only a bank of buttons at the front door, with no instructions of where to press or what to do. The shower was very small, but clean and neat. The noisy road outside, but expected because of the location. The one day there were no coffee pods in the machine provided, and the cafes were not open yet.

The location is fantastic, on the Arno River with a direct side view of the Pontevecchio. The room is small, however when you open your floor to ceiling French doors and you sit on your tiny patio having coffee it’s wonderful and romantic. Not an issue for us, but note the bathroom is very small and tight. Toilet, sink, shower is in what I can describe as a small closet. Don’t let this stop you because the location is wonderful as are the views and the live street performances singing at night. They also have lockers to store your luggage if needed.

Thinking the place was a hotel it was surprising to be given an address to check in which was a solid door in a wall of apartment front doors and shops. It was in fact an apartment (with a lift) and check in was with a lovely lady in one of the apartments - which was manned when required - this is why they want to know your arrival time. The room we booked was a studio in a building across the river - so we dragged our cases across the Ponte Vecchio and took a first right (San Jacopo) - the room was on the first floor overlooking the street behind (cafes / shops, but pleasant). Comfy bed, all amenities but the tiniest kitchen known to man was a talking point. Great location, supermarket nearby, building had a lift which didn't stop on level 1 (go to level 2 and walk down). It was nice.

A tiny kitchen but Hey, this is Florence and all old buildings have spaces you fill as you can.
