Savona 18 Suites

Our stay at this hotel was great. The prime location, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom were highlights. The staff's great service began with a designated parking spot for our rental car and continued with a welcome beverage and assistance in bringing our luggage to the room without prompting. Their local expertise shone through in a nice dinner recommendation. The check-out process was smooth, emphasizing the hotel's commitment to a hassle-free experience.

We had no problems, we enjoyed our stay.

We were welcomed right away with a prosecco so we could relax while they took care of our paperwork at check in. This was very nice and put a smile on our faces. Our room was super clean, surprisingly large and with English news channels on the TV. I've stayed at over 20+ hotels this year and this one had the best pillows by far! The bed was soo comfortable. The windows kept the sound of the city out very nicely, we couldn't hear anything outside. The street the hotel is located on has many restaurants and bars. It is walking-ish distance to the main sites.

Could not control the temperature in room, this was a big minus. Also could hear footsteps and furniture being moved around from the room above in the early morning when we wanted to sleep in.

We only had a light breakfast but what was on offer looked very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were able to leave luggage at the hotel while we left for a few days. Loved the decor. Appreciated the welcome drinks. Handy to be close to subways and also only about 10-15mins to Airport Express train in a taxi. Rooms are very spacious. Bathrooms are lovely and the shower wash was very nice. Loved the ice-cream shop opposite.

We stayed in large suite on Savona Street side. It was a tad noisy. Next time I wouldn't stay on the Savona Street side as I am a light sleeper.

Comfortable, spacious, quiet rooms and very comfortable beds. Very good air conditioning in the rooms which was appreciated as it was very hot in Milan during our stay. The hotel is in a quiet but vibrant location away from the touristy center and Navigli canals but close to trams and metro. Many options for good restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. very close to the hotel.

I requested an iron from reception and they said they did not have one at the hotel. We had dinner reservations at a few restaurants with dress codes and we weren't able to iron our clothes. Something to be aware of, especially if you are travelling for work. The hotel lacked other amenities I would expect from a 4-star hotel at this price point.

I like everything in this Hotel but mostly how big their rooms and bed and also the bathrooms and how clean they are. Also the sitting in their court outside and the couches and the general atmosphere of the whole hotel. Then the Location, best street ever where everything is right next to you and mostly the bars, gelateria, pizzeria, cafe... so you can imagine what happens here every single evening and night, such an amazing place.

Only one thing... that's breakfast... really not as expected at all, no variety of food and the cheese... where are the different types of cheese?

First and foremost, the staff are fantastic! Courteous, friendly, approachable, professional and personable. Nothing was an inconvenience for them and from check in to check out, their service was impeccable. Especially the reception staff. On top of that, the location is perfectly located in a trendy suburb of Milan, with restaurants, boutiques, and the best Gelato bar literally on the doorstep. The suites are spacious, clean and well equipped too, and breakfast offers a great variety to get the day started.

The only frustrating thing that we encountered was that the cleaners often forgot to top up some basic essentials. On a few seperate occasions, I had to ask reception for shampoo, toilet roll, water etc. But this is a minor frustration.

This was my first time staying in this area, there is a very relaxed neighbourhood feel. It was nice to get away from the crowded centre and feel like I was discovering how the locals lived (even if just for a night). The hotel is discreet, very stylishly decorated, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure to check in and to come back to the hotel in the evening. The room was calming and a pleasant space to work in for a couple of hours. The bathroom was well equipped with lovely Ortigia products.

I was surprised that there were no bathrobes.

The hotel is a very charming place in a lovely neighboorhood, near restaurants and the proper Navigli. There is an amazing icecream place just in front of it! With a ten minute walk we can reach metro stations to takes us anywhere in the city and the hotel team is very warm, looking for to attend all our needs! Special thanks to Aneta!

At first was worried about location as a solo traveler but I quickly realized it was great

Location was very convenient, a short walk from the subway station and lots of wonderful dining places around. The room was nicely furnished and spacious.

The breakfast price was a bit too high. We didn’t take it, so I can’t say if it was maybe worth it. But there are several places within 20 minutes walking distance with gorgeous pastries and perfect espressos
