Hotel Tiempo

The location is ideal if you're coming by car - the hotel is close to the motorway exit, so you don't have to get embroiled in Naples traffic, and it has a huge, secure private parking area. Then it's just a short walk to the metro to go into the city centre. Our room was also comfortable and well furnished, and the staff were nice, especially the receptionist on duty the evening we arrived, who gave us a great welcome.

Even when we had the heating switched off, there was quite a loud background noise in our room, maybe from pipes in the walls or heating from other rooms. Also, the neighbourhood around the hotel isn't great.

Very nice hotel. We arrived earlier than stated check in time and were upgraded to their 4 star Hotel Magri. Very clean comfortable beds, staff were nice, friendly and helpful and excellent in helping us arrange our tours of the local must see sights.

Only thing missing was food and drink facilities during the afternoon, so no lunch available. Restaurant only open forr breakfast and dinner, but the food and service is excellent when it is open. The area itself leaves a lot to be desired although this is no fault of the hotel. Once inside the hotel grounds you forget the amount of garbage in the streets outside. 20 minutes walk to the centre (unless you take the long route like we did first day, then it's a long 60 minute walk!)

The room (we had a terrace) was really nice, the breakfast is basic but was perfect to grab some coffee and some light bites before heading out. The hotel offers a shuttle bus in the evening to the Port which is filled with lots of little restaurants which was brilliant on a night out if heading out for food. The hotel is a about a 15 minute walk to the train station

The area of where the hotel is based, is not the best. I felt on edge while walking through there even during the day

The location is a bit distant from the city center, but the metro station is very close - just a few minutes of walk. The hotel also offers secure free parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they spoke excellent English. The room was nice, beautiful, and clean. The bathroom was big and clean. Wi-fi worked smoothly. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices, the staff was friendly.

Location was good for travel to Pompeii and easy walk to train station for subway to downtown. Restaurant was excellent, which is a shared one with hotel next door. Staff very friendly and helpful with information. Subway stop is a 7 minute walk.

The location is nowhere near the pictures you have seen of Naples with the sea meeting the city for beautiful pictures, you have to travel(train, subway, taxi).and walk to see that area.

A little odd not being self service for the breakfast, staff were very nice and did a good job for the hotel, keeping portion size down.

Not the hotel fault but, was being charged any where from 15 to 25 euro for same taxi journey back to the station to catch metro link. When asked about the hotel shuttle advertised, turns out its only evening and if a group pre booked.

Staff were all friendly. Hotel was clean inside. Rooms were big with a lot of space. Only a 4/5 minute walk from the metro which was very handy to get to anywhere we wanted to. Breakfast was simple but very tasty.

We needed to go across to the sister hotel next door to use the bar in the evening if we needed a drink etc. Not many shops nearby

Hotel was great, staff were fantastic. very pleasant. roof Terrace was good too.

2 issues really. location is one of them. lovely hotel but in the wrong location. 2nd was you couldn’t leave aircon going whilst you were out as the key card was required. so you always came back to a hot room. It’s much nicer when the room is cold already when it’s 40° outside.

We stayed one night with the family. It was nice, clean room. Late check in. Just it was issue to find the hotel at midnight, because taxi left us little bit far away than hotel is, but luckily we met a women who was returning to the same hotel and showed us the way. Would be nice to get more clear directions to the hotel.

Great hotel, especially for travellers by car. Free parking, easy to get there and free shuttle to and from the city center. They also have tours available for the amalfi coast and pompei/vesuvio etc. But when driving yourself the almafi coast is a very fun route to drive! Would definitly recommend staying here. Hotel was clean, service was great as well. We arrived late in the evening and the powersockets in our room didn't work. We got a new room the same evening and we had great help and tips for everything we wanted to see and do. Breakfast was good to. Especially since italians usually don't have a lot for breakfast. This was very excellent!
