Spacious clean rooms with excellent ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, wardrobe space and a comfy bed. Room service kept toiletries well stocked and room clean. Good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was basic but included cereal, croissants, toast, cakes, tea, coffee and fruit juices and was served 7am-10am. Friendly staff. Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood located about 15 minutes walk from either San Giovanni or Re Di Roma Metro stations.

Noise travels easily through the building at night so be sure to take earplugs. Other guests were incredibly inconsiderate and were either slamming doors or watching TV/playing music at loud volumes into the early hours. The people directly above sounded like they were moving furniture around for half the night.

It was so clean!! The room, bathroom, shower and the floors. I hate walking barefoot on the floors in hotel rooms but I could do it here😅. There weren't any double beds, probably because this hotel is managed by nuns 🤭😆. But the personnel here where super helpful because we arrived by 23.00 ( and check in is latest 20.00) So if you're going to stay here double check that you have the right address( because there's 2 Casa San Giuseppe in Rome) We went to the other one first😅🫣.... Breakfast was really simple but really fresh and good. Bread, toast, marmalade, butter, mozarella, boiled eggs, juice &coffee machines. Yoghurts,cornflakes,Nutella... so not much but enough😊😊 and good It was actuality better than we thought. So I really recommend it.. it's cheap, but for that price it's really really good.

Continental breakfast was typical (pastries, toast, coffee/tea) with corn flakes and milk (non-dairy may be available some days -- just ask). But it was free so I don't have much to complain about. The room was spacious with beautiful marble floors, the bathroom was also large for European standards. Metro is a 15-min walk away (not very convenient) but the Colosseum is a 20-min walk away which is not bad.

My only gripe is the bed was too stiff for my back, causing some morning back aches. However, my partner felt great sleeping on it so it'll vary from person to person. This space appears to be converted from a former covent so it that is an issue for you, please bear that in mind. My partner and I were fine.

Absolutely charming, unique little hotel; part of a convent, and the nuns prepare the breakfast themselves. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly, even if you don’t speak Italian. The neighborhood is very nice, there are lots of cafés and restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets, and it’s easy to get to the city center by subway in just a few minutes. It’s perfect for a couple of days in the city. The bathroom was actually quite lavishly furnished with what looked like marble tiles. I loved it! And it’s not expensive at all.

Sound travels easily. You can hear pretty much every word that’s spoken in the next room (in my case: a videochat conversation, and the man was talking really loud) and in the staircase (guests arriving/leaving). But you get used to it! Even though I’m quite sensitive to noise I would absolutely stay at Casa San Giuseppe again!

Very clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful front desk personnel. Good location of the hotel, quite close to the Termini railway station and centre of Rome. We travelled by bus (628 and 360, mainly, if I recall well). The closest Metro station is quite far from the hotel (11-12 mins. of walking). We relied a lot on Google Maps and Moovit in our holidays in Italy. They didn't dissapoint us, especially when we were walking or commuting from the hotel to the city centre.

Quite basic breakfast (the Italian style, I would say). Having more options would have been better for starting the day well. A little overpriced lodging, looking back now, taking into account that we made the reservation back in June and also comparing it to other reservations made in Italy this year.

I was greeted at the door by a nun, which was a first (and really cool). The receptionist was very kind. The interior is very luxurious, mostly marble and carpeted. The room itself was more that enough for me, and the bathroom was incredible (although my hairdryer didn’t work; I was only staying one night, otherwise I would have told them and I believe they would have immediately fixed it. It’s also right up the road from a laundry mat, which has a super nice couple working there, and washed, dried, and folded my clothes for only €10.

It’s far from the nearest train station, but I’m in Europe not to be lazy and I don’t mind the steps.

Excellent location in a good and safe neighborhood. Good acces to Metro & busses. Very clean. A Penny supermarket nearby. Various options for eating (at walking distance) at restaurants for locals. It's not a real hotel; i guess it's somewhat operated by the church but that's a good thing because it was very chill and relaxing.

Very basic furniture in the room but it has all you need after a day of wondering in Rome. Breakfast could need some improvement but I guess it's the Italian style (good coffee, croissant & cookies, butter, milk & cereals). Overall a good price/quality ratio.

Casa San Giuseppe was way more than I sincerely expected. The staff were super kind and helpful, and always available to answer any question or respond to a need. The room was very, very clean and it was cleaned on a daily basis (even the linens were furnished every day). The good thing about this place is of course the lack of outside noises and easy access to all key means of transportation. I would suggest to walk from this place to Rome's city center. The breakfast was really nice, enough for the start of a good day in Rome. All in all, all sincere recommendations for this very nice place. You won't regret it!

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights, and I'm really satisfied with everything. It is so clean and staff were very nice to me. I liked the area as well. Not far from touristic places, like I went by feet to the Colosseo.

The only thing that I recommend is to add curtains for the windows in the room. For people like me who can only sleep in total darkness, it was a bit challenging to have windows without curtains.

The room was quiet, I rested well (I wouldn't mind to sleep longer) The personal was nice and helpful The breakfast included It was clean

I couldn't raise the temperature in the room, in the evening it wasn't possible to contact with the reception and ask for it because they are from 8am-8pm. It was set for 22°C but for me personally it was too cold. I stayed just 1 night and in the morning I asked if I can raise the temperature and they said I'm leaving in 2 hours and they didn't help me with that Check-in time is at 10am - this is a bit too early and It should be at least at 11am in my opinion
