Best Western Hotel Piccadilly

First, the property’s location is slightly away from the main attractions but is still close to subways and bus stops that can take you there. We personally used taxis. Second, there are plenty of shops nearby (Cafes, Restaurants, supermarkets, telecom shops, etc…) Finally, the property itself is compact and equipped with all your main needs. The room was a bit small for us but was clean. The AC, bathroom, balcony were perfect.

Rooms were a bit on the small side for us. otherwise everything was fine.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff is both friendly and helpful. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is residential so it's quiet and has lovely restaurants within walking distance.

The breakfast could have more variety, but the food was very good. The elevator is small so there can be a wait during peak times to arrive and leave the breakfast area, but this is a very minor issue. Overall, I have no complaints about our stay.

The staff were so very helpful . Annalise on reception was very helpful with all our questions , and Valentina in the dining room . A wide selection of gluten free breakfast products was provided and a vegan products were specifically purchased for our stay . I cannot praise Valentina enough for ensuring gluten free food was available. All the staff were very friendly . The staff were very well informed on dietary requirements . Although the hotel is a little out of the main tourist area in Rome this is not a problem . 7-8 minute walk to the nearest metro station with train frequency every 3-4 mins . There is also a bus stop right outside which stops at most of the major tourist areas. Bus 87 is great . The beds are super comfortable and the bed linen is great . We were at the front of the hotel which looks onto a noisy main road . The breakfast room has fabulous views over Rome and the service is great .

A decorative dining room on the 8th floor, with a rich and varied self-service meal. The breakfast was very rich with variety of food: different types of bread, boiled or fried eggs, different cheese, cakes, fruits, different juices, coffee, tea and tea, etc... and excellent service from the person in charge. The advantage of the hotel is that it is not in the center of Rome, so its price is relatively cheap and it is close to Fiumicino Airport in Rome.

There is no parking for guests, and those who arrive with a rental car must arrange paid parking until the evening hours (7 - 8 pm).

Breakfast was very good, and the view from the breakfast room was great. The staff at this hotel were absolutely fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but the lady working the front desk in the evenings was the most pleasant and helpful person we person we have every encountered at a hotel. She gave us helpful tips and advice on everything we asked and was super pleasant and happy. She made our stay great.

The wi-fi didn't work in our room.

Best Westerns are a known quantity - you know you will have a good room, you know they will provide breakfast. The breakfast here was typically Italian, with cakes, cheese and ham, but also added in some fresh cut fruit and eggs. The location is lovely, in the middle of a non-touristy part of Rome, so you get a good idea of what it would be like to live there. Only a 10 min walk from the closest metro stop (San Giovanni), there are pizza by the slice places, local cafes, restaurants - just what you want at the end of the day! The evening staff was super helpful, giving recommendations for restaurants, directions on how to get places, and always with a smile.

As a single traveler, I took a single room and a double room for my two stays. The single room had less space, but it was organized really well. The double room had more space, but much was unusable.

Location close to metro and bus stations. Friendly and welcoming staffs & cleanliness. The room was of a good size, bed was comfy pillows soft and nice. I was happy with the cleanliness offer bathroom, the quality of the toiletries and the shower has a powerful jetstream. Breakfast is always a highlight and a good start to the day. On my last day I had to catch an early flight, the staffs helped package my breakfast to take with me. If you fancy a bit of a walk, the major attractions are 25mins walk from the hotel or 10-12 mins on the bus if you're feeling a bit lazy.

Can't fault a thing

The room we stayed in was very nice and the view from there was amazing. Breakfasts were great, selection wide and staff overseeing breakfast too. Location was good to, cca 25 minutes to Colosseum.

According to the information sent, it should be possible to check-in from 12am. However, when we arrived at 1pm, we were told that our room was not ready (without any apology from the receptionist). And from what I've seen, it happens quite a lot... Furthermore, we were woken up by the door slamming several times during our stay.

As always, Best Western has breakfast - and it was a good one with lots of choices. The rooms were comfortable, with a desk and chair, though no other chairs to relax in. The single room had exactly what I needed with nothing extra. I loved the location, because there were tons of local restaurants, and it was easy to get around.

The wifi seemed strong enough to me, though other colleagues in the same hotel had issues with it. Check-in is up 3 flights of stairs (or an elevator), so be prepared!

Very good, correct, clean and comfortable hotel in the San Giovanni neighbourhood. All the staff were excellent and friendly and made you feel very welcome from the cleaner to the restaurant staff, and Miss Annalisa and Mr Fabio in reception - providing excellent customer service!

Nothing worth noticing. No complaints.
