Hotel San Giovanni Roma

1. Location is in a neat and calm area 2. Staff is very friendly and helpful 3. Breakfast is good 4. Daily Housekeeping 5. There is Safe and mini bar in the room 6. Room and bathroom space is very good. 7. Lighty room looking at main street 8. Hotel seems furbished as it seems everything new Overall I liked it

1. Location is bit far from city center and most of the attractions, maybe except the Colosseum 2. Nearest Metro station is 1 km far 3. Only one bus stop is nearby with only one bus line available with waiting frequency on average 30 minutes 4. Bed is very small 5. Matress and pillows are not totally comfortable and needs attention 6. Weak security Wifi, as per the warning message I received from my iPhone, so and accordingly, I used mobile data during all of my stay in the hotel for the 7 nights.

Very good and accessible hotel in s cozy non touristic homely neighborhood with mainly Italian guests.

Breakfast was perfect for South European taste ie MANY different and beautiful cakes - but too sweat for me, Would love fresh fruit salads snd not canned fruit - and cheese in addition to bacon and scrambled or boiled eggs as savory items- but staff were super attentive and helpful! All Italian guests loved their breakfasts which was nice to see! Easy access for wheelchair w excellent bathroom and good room if beds are pushed a little to one side. Sorry about mess in pics! Departure morning! Will warmly recommend for wheelchair user (manual ir small electric)

The breakfast buffet was outstanding --- a very complete selection of menu items for northern European and southern European tastes. Machine-made coffee variations were excellent. The staff provided excellent service for minor requests - local maps, luggage storage after check out and helpful local guidance.

The single room was very small with little storage space for luggage and unpacked clothing. Room temperature control was not functioning well with the ventilation --- opening the window was the only solution (but this did serve the purpose). The hotel was renovated in a modern style - functional and shiny but rather sterile and lacking character.

The employees were always very friendly. The room was very clean and looked even better than in the pictures! Very modern, even luxurious. It was great that I could store my luggage at the hotel after check out before I left Rome. The hotel is located in a quiet area, so no noise, but you need to take the bus (20min) to get to central Rome (however, then you get to see Rome on the bus ride). The next metro station is a 12min walk away (there is also a bus that goes there though).

The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, it was okay but not great. Something individual would be great, like 'bread from a local bakery' or 'mozzarrella from local producers' or something like that.

At a good location with friendly / helping staff . we travelled with a toddler and they were v nice and cooperative. right next to a bus stop , and a few other bus stops within 200-300 meters , we didn’t use taxis to travel from this hotel . 20 mins walk to the collesium rooms were daily cleaned. bathrooms very v nice with perfect hot and cold water

the hotel had very basic facilities like no room service (food) , daily same breakfast . price a bit on the higher side

Breakfast was just fabulous and catered for all my preferences and needs with such a wide selection of produce available. The breakfast and reception staff were also polite, friendly and extremely professional.

Just a suggestion, I think it would be better to have a jug of milk beside the breakfast cereal rather than one having to go to the coffee section for the milk. Other than that, everything was perfect!

All of the staff there are super friendly and patient, super helpful to guide you how to reach the attractions. The breakfast is not hearty but good enough. The room is clean. Theres a bus stop from the central station will reach in front of the hotel directly.

They don’t provide water, only 1 small bottle when you check in, despite how many days you gonna stay. There’s no kettle in the room, no tea no coffee no nothing. The location is at a residential area which is very quite , solo travelers at night can feel a bit cautious. It’s not a short walk to reach the attractions but it is possible to do it, not everyday though.

I like the room, there was everything needed, the receptionists were very nice, you can borrow an umbrella in case of rain. They speak English very good and always want to help. Delicious coffee for breakfast

The breakfast was a bit poor for something salty. The omelette was not tasty, there is no even sausages, the vegetables don’t look fresh

The location is great (you can even take a walk to Colosseum), the staff is super friendly and the rooms are well aerated. I also loved the bathroom and the generous shower area. If you want to spend a night out, you do not need to go to the centre, the area offers some cool local beer places, pizzerias etc.

If you consider a longer stay: the single room was quite tight and the breakfast choices are limited (except the diverse selection of pastries). I think it is perfect for a shorter stay though.

Tasty breakfast, plenty of options. The hairdryer in our room wasn’t working properly, however we asked for a spare one and they kindly gave it to us. A lot of great places to eat or have a drink around the hotel. The rooms have air-conditioning. We would recommend this hotel, it’s a really good value for the money.
