Hotel Valeri

This is our second time in Rome, and both times we have stayed at Hotel Valeri. We enjoyed staying there so much, that there was no inclination to look for somewhere else for our return visit. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and very clean. Breakfast was fine, and enough to start your day. The hotel is walking distance from San Giovanni and Colloseo metro stations - there is also a bar round the corner where you can buy metro travel cards, which is very useful. The week we had in Rome was wonderful, and we will certainly return. And we will definitely return to the hotel. Thank you Roberto and Apu - you made us very welcome!

The hotel is very pretty and very nicely situated about a 10 minute walk from the coliseum. The staff are really nice and very helpful, especially since we needed to check in early due to our flights. We were given a map and a brilliant explanation of where things were and how to get to them, as well as great info on the peferred taxi app (itTaxi). The rooms are lovely and have nice facilities, including electric shutters to block sunlight if you are sleeping past sunrise!

Due to being on a main road and close to the hospital, there are sirens throughout the day and night. If you're not sensitive to sound then you're likely to be fine (as I was), but if you require absolute quiet to sleep then you may find it uncomfortable.

I was there with my daughter last month. Apu, the property manager, was an amazing host. He was always available and ready to help to make our stay enjoyable. Roberto, the owner, was also very helpful with sharing tips on places, restaurants, sights and neighborhoods. You can walk to many places from the hotel. 10 min walk to colloseum. Also, bus stop is right there if you need to take the bus or to connect to Termini Train station. The property is clean and the room was made daily. The bed was super comfortable. We loved the breakfast. Our favorite were fresh croissants and delicious cappuccino and espresso coffee made by Apu. There were yogurt, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, pastries, juice, coffee and cheese available for breakfast.

The room is smaller then I anticipated based what I saw in the picture on line.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The host provided us with many recommendations on places to visit/where to eat. We went with his recommendations and made the most of our stay. The parking lot outside ZTL is just minutes from the accommodation and there is a bus stop on the same street that stops both in the historic center and continues to the Vatican. If we ever go to Rome again in the future, we will definitely stay again. Thank you

The perfect location close to Circo Massimo and the Colosseum. Bus station across the street which can take you to every main location in Rome. Roberto and Apu are great, always there to help you out and make your stay as pleasant as possible. During my stay I’ve had a health issue and Roberto took me to the hospital, called a doctor for me and helped me a lot. I am really grateful. The rooms are clean and nice. I highly recommend choosing hotel Valeri for your stay in Rome, you will be close to all main attractions, have great and caring people there for you, and clean and nice rooms daily. We will definitely come back.

Only downside is that the cell coverage is not that great on the bottom floor, but you can always use the free Wi-fi.

Small hotel with friendly staff and owner. Owner gave us a very interesting onboarding. He gave us a map and explained what and (which was most important) when we can do. Location of the hotel is very good - 10 min walk to Colosseum. Near hotel you can find 2 bus stops and from there you can reach all main Rome tourist attraction. Owner recommended us to visit Ostia beaches which was very relaxing after few days of long walking in Rome.

Internet connection was really poor. In room 3 there wasn't any chance to work at the desk. I had to work on bed. Internet speed was very good but I was constantly disconnected.

It was convenient and clean, there was a main bus station right across the street and a supermarket close by. it was a 15 minute walk to the colosseum. the breakfast was nice, the staff was great, Apu was available and accessible, and with any questions it is highly recommended to contact Roberto, who gives short and to the point answers and can tell a lot about the city and what to do.

The staff welcoming was great (Ahmed),always cheering and a smile on his face,Roberto is an amazing guy,spent almost an hour explaining to me attractions in Rome and where to go after Rome,Thanks for being so Nice guys

No room views and not very near to the center,also transportation wasn’t very easy there.

Love,love, love !!! we throughly enjoyed our stay in Rome and staying at Hotel Valeri made it perfect. Apu and Roberto are so accommodating and gorgeous souls. They cannot do enough for you, really made to feel at home in the stunning boutique style hotel, it’s on the doorstep of Ancient Rome

The location was amazing. The hotel has an great staff and amazing smell. Always clean.

A little more amenities in the room like Kettle, water, etc, would be great.
