Domus Caracalla

The staff were amazing! Our room was cleaned everyday and the neighbourhood is quiet even though we were near the Colosseum. Roma Termini is a bus away and there is also a bus that takes you to Vatican and the other tourist spots. They kindly upgraded our room to a one with balcony because we stayed for 6 nights. Good value for money!

There is no laundry shop nearby and they didn’t offer a laundry service. The landlady did offer to let us use her washing machine though but she didn’t have a dryer. There is a small flight of stairs (probably 10steps) going to the lift so keep that in mind when you have a luggage. The closest Metro station is at least 1.5km away.

EVERYTHING went exceptionally well. The studio with a huge balcony and a lovely kitchen were perfect, the hostess went an extra mile to make us feel great, and the location is very nice and safe indeed. We enjoyed having late night dinners in local restaurants and pizzerias so much! I would return to Domus Caracalla any time with the greatest joy.

There was absolutely NOTHING I didn't like in Domus Caracalla. It's perfect.

Everything was perfect: the location, the room, but above all, the kindness and solidarity of Pusha, the woman in charge of the reception. The airline lost my bag when arriving in Rome; she did every thing possible to get a response from the company and recover my bag... and she succeeded!

Never. Every thing was fine, perfect for our needs. Thank you very much for all.

5 ⭐️ for hospitality, the lady who runs the place is an absolute delight. She speaks English well and was giving recommendations on what to see and how to get to places. The place is nothing wow, but clean, comfortable and close to the Colosseum and the Caracalla baths. Few minutes away from 2 bus stops and 10 minutes from metro station. We had no breakfast included but there is a really nice cafe 2 minutes away with good coffee and breakfast. (So&So bar)

The place was a little bit dusty on the shelves (spots that you don't normally clean on a daily basis at home, but you'd expect to be clean at a hotel/B&B stays) but we did have our room done every day and given clean towels.

Our first day of trip started from Colosseo. The location is perfect, 15 min walk from Colosseo. Very clean. Affordable price.

The access to the hotel was impossible...We did not have an active phone card. Our check- in was late and we were lucky that stanger people help us to call to the number in the instruction for late check- in. The phone call was only one way to get in side.

The room had a nice shower and the WiFi worked very well! The neighborhood where the hotel was located was very quiet.

The bed was a bit hard. There was just one pillow (for each person). There was a nice espresso-machine, but they didn’t put new coffee-cups.

We were going to the opera at the outdoor venue of Calacalla. This was an ideal location in a quiet neighbourhood. We had an elegant spacious twin room at the top of an old apartment building. Historic lift got us there. Great kitchen and balcony. Good air conditioning and wifi.

Great room with working AC, mini fridge and comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful host! Located next to a lovely ancient park, close to the colosseum by walking distance but far enough to avoid crowds and noise.

Nice area,distance from the city center,nice building.

Bad wifi connection Reception desk was open from 8am to 3pm-we arrived after 3pm and didnt find any welcome letter with basic informatio,wifi password.. Bad soundproofing -you can easily hear people speaking next to your room

The location was ideal, 10 minutes from the Colosseum. The balcony was a personal highlight of the stay, a great little sun trap. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving great recommendations for sights and places to eat. Spacious and clean room.
