Hotel Miami

Close to Metro and bus stops. Front desk not straight in front of the door but hidden on the left but staff very helpful. Clean room. Felt safe in the area at night. Handy for the Colosseum and Trevi areas. About 45 mins walk from the Vatican but Metro only a few mins walk away,cheap and easy to use. About 25 mins walk from the Piazza Navona area. Air conditioning worked well.

Shower cubicle was a bit claustrophobic with a screen that was opaque and pulled around like a concertina. Hairdryer was an old fashioned wall mounted one which just produced a warm breeze. Wasn’t a problem as I’d brought my own. Overall a nice hotel in a good area.

The room was great, what you see in the pictures is what you get. It was cleaned every day and if anything was missing or I wanted something I asked and it was arranged in a few minutes. Air conditioner worked well (very important in Rome) and cooled the room in a few minutes. there is an elevator so you don’t need to carry your luggage up the stairs. The staff are very nice and helpful (Thank you Maria,Mario,Achilles,Franchsco an Pamelia). Breakfast had a great selection of foods. Location is great, on Via Nazionale, a main street (so it felt safe), 10 minutes walk from the Termini and 10 minutes walk from Piazza Venezia, lots of shops and restaurants in the area, buses and even the Metro.

The room is designed “by the centimeter” and especially the bathroom. Though the shower was large enough there was no room next to it. As the hotel is above a main street there is noise from the street. when the windows are shut it is ok but you do hear the syrens of police or ambulances. so if you are noise sensitive ask for a room facing the back. The matrices was not leveled (the center where people sleep was lower) yet the bed was comfortable. At breakfast they only have a coffee machine and it makes a really bad coffee :( not what I expected in Rome. Pay attention that there is a charge for the water bottles from the minibar.

Location was fantastic, perfect for getting around town. 10-15 minute walk to Termini, with the Republica metro station even closer. Many restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly - the man at the front desk was eager to help plan our itinerary with us. I saw many people leaving baggage to be held in the lobby after checkout. Breakfast had many options. The room was very clean and had good amenities like a refrigerator and small desk to sit at. The elevator is very small and slow but at least it exists!

Room was very small (not surprising), there was just a few feet of space on any side of the bed. Make sure you are comfortable with any roommate you have because you will be close! The mattresses were extremely firm. Also I know it isn't unusual for the area but only having one room key was a challenge when we wanted to split up for a while. We hoped to check out a day early to avoid the ATC strikes, but even with 4 days notice they would not allow us to cancel the last night.

The location was great. Fairly close to a lot of tourist attractions. Comfortable beds.

The breakfast could use some work. I don't care for pressed meats or boiled eggs. Except for the cheese, these were the only protein options.

*The stuff is so great and generous one of the best service I have ever had! 10/10 for the service of the stuff! *Cleaning and changing towels and sheets everyday. *Location - pretty good. *Breakfast pretty good.

*TV... well... Everything is in Italian language so if you don't understand Italian it's almost impossible to use the TV. *I had to go to the reception and ask for a cattlle and they gave me of course (and thank you very much for this) BUT for this price I expected to have a cattle & few tea bags already in my room.

Breakfast was good with a plentiful variety of cold dishes. The fruit was tasty, there were varied pastries, fresh bread, cheeses, a variety of Twinnings tea and more. The air conditioning in our room worked well, which was essential for the hot weather. Also the little refrigerator/minibar was good for storing cold water. The room was cleaned every day, the bathroom was decorated with pretty ceramic tiles, and the shower was fine for an average person. There was plenty of toilet paper (another reviewer had complained about that). As others have noted, the location is excellent. Although you can walk to most sites we bought a transportation pass (highly recommended) and used buses due to the heat. There are also numerous stores (clothing, leather) near the hotel for those who want to shop. The receptionists were very nice, friendly and helpful. We would defintely return to this hotel!

It would have been nice to have a teapot in the room.

Hotel is great for single or couple travellers but I don't think it is good for travelling friends. The staff was very helpful and always smiling. They were very kind and tried to solve our problem as much as possible. The location is amazing, if it is your first time in Rome, it is walking distance to all attractions and historical locations. The housekeeping was great and the room was really clean. They cleaned perfectly every day and it was spotless. The towels were changed daily and there were enough towels in the room. There was a safe in the room and minibar with soft drinks. (not free but affordable) The air conditioner was working fine. The hand soap and shampoo were provided and changed daily. There was also a hair dryer in the bathroom but if you need a strong flow, bring your own. There are nice small restaurants and shops nearby so it was convenient.

The rooms are small and even if we asked for twin room, the beds were together and there were no room to separate them. I understand that the size of the room limited the hotel staff's ability to help us to separate the beds. It is great for single travellers or couples but for friend groups, it may be too small. If you are travelling to Rome not to see the historical attractions but to engage with local life, to go out and have fun, then the hotel location sets a barrier a little bit, because there are no clubs or night life around and the metro ends at 11:30pm in weekdays and 1:30am on Friday and Saturday.

The location of the hotel is terrific, only a 10 min walk from the Train terminal. The street itself offers plenty of shopping options, and it's only a 25 min walk from the major attractions. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the price per night was excellent as well.

The hotel is located inside an office building, which is a bit strange. The room itself is rather basic and in need of a refresh. The shower was a quite finicky, and I wasn't able to continuously enjoy hot water (it was either too hot, or too cold, and even when you got it right, a minute later it changed again without moving the water handle). But all-in-all I'm very happy with my stay. It's more than reasonable given the price, the cleanliness, the terrific staff and the excellent location!

The staff were brilliantly friendly on our arrival, and were helpful throughout the stay, including calling a taxi which arrived within 3 minutes. Our room was comfortable, and the location was very convenient in the centre of the city. The church opposite had some pretty amazing bells at 6.00pm (and I think a couple of other times during the day, but not all through the night, mercifully!) There was a nice gelato shop opposite (though for my money, pico gelato over near Santa Constanza hotel was the city's best by far).

Breakfast food was nice, but the room did get quite crowded at peak times (uncomfortably so, one morning)
