Hotel Nord Nuova Roma

Very close to train station, in a very nice safe neighborhood with many great restaurants in walking distance, and shopping

My only complaint was a bad smell in the bathroom probably from the plumbing . I let them know on check out and never asked to change rooms so not sure how it would have been handled

Very good location, two short blocks from the train station. Train was direct from the airport. Outstanding restaurants on all sides of the hotel, breakfast bar was really good.

Nearly got pickpocketed during the two block walk from the train station.

The reception staff (all), breakfast staff (all) were extremely professional, fast, helpful and kind. Thank you all. Even though it is close to the Termini station (train stations always have a dogy connotation…) the location and surrondings are great. The design of the hotel is great.

During our first stay we got the room on IV floor which was rather gloomy. This room we did not particularly like. During our second stay we got the room on II floor which was very nice, bright, spacious, nicely decorated. In this room we also got vathrobes and slippers. This room we liked.

This place has a gorgeous little roof top terrace bar, we went straight up on arrival and caught sunset. Other bonuses: We caught the express train from airport to city and this hotel is only around the corner from the main station, 5 min walk. If you're in Rome as a tourist, the red bus tour stop is across the road from this hotel, very convenient. Busy area, lots of resteraunts and bars around. Staff were very friend, particularly a gentleman, who appeared to be the hotel caretaker, couldn't have been nicer and was a lovely welcome to Rome.

The rooms are very small, but if you are in Rome as a tourist and things are going well you won't spend much time hanging out in the room anyway.

Lovely helpful and friendly staff, breakfast was delicious, the terrace is lovely but no food served since covid. Little gym upstairs is good for a holiday workout. Very close to train station which was good for me travelling early to Naples. Also not far from Trevi fountain and coliseum. I was a little worried after looking at google reviews of the area saying about the homeless and pick pocketing but there are homeless people in Rome absolutely everywhere and they don’t bother you, I am very vigilant having travelled a lot so I carry my belongs closely to me but I never felt scared or uneased in the area only safe. There are some lovely restaurants around the hotel too.

We stayed in their deluxe double room on the 5th floor and was very satisfied with how clean, modern and spacious it was! The room was made up every day and fresh towels supplied. The bathroom was huge with 2 separate basins, a shower and bath combo and toilet with a bidet. There was a king sized double bed which was comfortable and plenty of choice with pillows. We had a good view from our window and were just around the corner from the local Restaurant/dining precinct. It was approx 400mtrs walk from the Rome train station so there was no requirement for a taxi and the City bus terminal and the metro train subway both within a similar distance. Our reception and concierge staff were wonderful and assisted us with suggestions and bookings as required. We were allowed to store our luggage at the Hotel after check-out until we were ready to depart Rome.

The buffet breakfast was average.

The location was great. Within walking distance of two metro stops. Plenty of food and shopping in the vicinity. Requested a room with a tub and we got one~ The breakfast spread was pretty good and my friend says that their bacon is probably the best she has tasted. Staff are nice and friendly.

Walls were a bit thin. Could definitely hear people while in the bathroom and sometimes in the room. Did not disturb our sleep though.

Hotel is older, but had a charm to it. It’s conveniently located a few blocks away from the train station. Seemed very clean overall. My room was very clean. Single bedroom was cozy, and just the right size for one. Fairly quiet, except for normal sounds from other travellers, like a shower, or a toilet flush. Easy check in and check out Good breakfast buffet, lots of selection, clean, had a lot of tables to sit at, staff kept everything cleared, and tidy. Food was replenished when it was getting empty. I like that the buffet opened at 6:30, and the price was included with the room. I find that very convenient

Nothing really, except a minor thing, the TV only had Italian stations, but I expected that, since I was in Italy, and I don’t think it was a satellite TV. Plus, I was out most of the time anyway during my stay.

Very convenient location to train station, only took us 10 minutes dragging our luggage from Roma Termini. Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast in the morning was satisfying. We arrived 2 hours early before official check in time, but our room was available which was great. The front desk allowed us to print our airline boarding pass. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood at night, even though there are homeless people on the street two blocks away, no one bothered us in any way. We stayed at this place twice this year and both times the experience was great.

No dislikes, everything was perfect. No complaint about anything.

The hotel looks unassuming but once you get to the rooms and dining,it really exceeded expectations. We booked a triple which, based on my Paris experience, I expected to be 3 teeny single beds and no space to move. HOWEVER, our room here was as big as a NY city 1Br apartment! There was a separate bedroom (with a door!) with a King sized bed and a living room type space with a single bed. The bath was also spacious. What really impressed us was the breakfast experience. The dining room was modern and clean. There were hot and cold food options which were immediately replenished when they ran out, cereals, fruits, veggies, and of course bread and cakes. Absolute bang for your buck and very close to Termini Station. Will stay here again if we ever come back to Rome.

Nothing that bothered us too much. If I had to nitpick I'd say the rooms could us a little facelift as they're a bit dated.
