-The staff, especially woman who checked us in, was the literal meaning of customer service. So nice and helpful. -Short walking distance to everywhere so big plus for location. -Breakfast wasnt perfect but it got the job done. Cappucino on a rooftop terrace is a good way to start a day. Also staff at breakfast were friendly. -Room was quiet

Shower was from ancient rome. Also bed was hard as a gladiator.

Great location near the central station and surrounded by cafes and restaurants. It is within walking distance to many of the sights. The hotel is an old world style so the rooms are not large, the bathroom is a good size and well fitted and very clean. The guest lounge and rooftop terrace are a bonus. Breakfast was plentiful with a limited selection of hot and a very good selection of cold foods. The staff were attentive and helpful. Good value if you book early.

It was very hot when we stayed and the air conditioning struggled to keep up. The TV controls were a struggle so we gave up.

excellent location! Within walking distance of train and bus terminal. Area has plenty of restaurants and as appropriate, taxi service is easily accessible. Property is charming, top floor breakfast area, which is also a delightful lounge area along with Terrace, makes this a special choice. And, hotel staff are extremely welcoming, friendly, and most helpful! Definitely recommend.

This is a boutique hotel. That said, if someone is looking for a standard sized bath with shower, they may find the experience less than stellar. We were fine with it because the uniqueness of a boutique hotel far outweighs any slight variations from larger hotels or chains.

The room is decorated in vintage style, and I found the chandelier in my room amazingly beautiful and recognised as Venice glass workshop's product. Breakfast is included. The reception staff remembers me and greets me every time when I passed them. I got stomach sick one night and their receptionist received my call and sent hot chamomile tea very soon. I understand they cannot give me pills directly and I did get better after the tea.

The wall was painted pure white in my room, I feel the colour does not fit the rest vintage furniture.

The hotel is located few minutes walking from the metro and 20-25 minutes from most of the popular locations, although not in the heart of the old city. The room was large enough (the superior room). Friendly staff. The bed was confortable enough. The breakfast was good.

The bathroom has an old-style bath with a curtain and not a walk-in shower. Not very convenient to take shower. Quite old carpets and furniture in the room. The hotel is good enough, but not fabulous.

Excellent hotel from start to finish. Excellent location right near termini. Walking distance to majority of the sights. Lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Rooms good size and even had a balcony! Breakfast simple continental but tasty. Staff are absolutely phenomenal! Nothing was too much trouble! Would give 10 stars if I could.

I had to pay city tax again even though I had already paid it(it was stipulated in confirmation). Paid it again so not to cause a fuss but have emailed booking.com so just waiting for a response.

Great staff, very welcoming. Brilliant Breakfast - lots of choice and the roof terrace is beautiful - a very peaceful start to the day. The room we had was full of charm - some may say 'old fashioned' but we found it delightful, quirky and who wouldnt want to use a pink bathroom suite in Rome. Joyful! Very close to the train station and also central to get around Rome

The location is perfect and close to everything. Hotel staff, to list Donia and Elienora, were very nice and helpful at all times until our departure. Breakfast location is perfect and is served by a professional and charming team. Exceptional service👍 In general, our stay was very pleasant and can be suggested to others. Fatiha/Rezki

very close to all tourist attractions in Rome, staff were exceptional, very nice and helpful. breakfast was good, coffee was amazing and the restaurant staff were really nice

the room was small and it had two beds instead of one, but we didn't complain about this because they accepted a really early checkin - we arrived and checked in at 8AM

Our two stays at Hotel Columbia were far better than we could have hoped. . Good room, quiet, good air conditioner, very good comfortable beds, but most of all such friendly exceptionally staff both in the rooftop breakfast area and at reception. We could not recommend it enough.

Had problems with the TV controls but in Rome, who cares.
