The host was very helpful, generous and provided an excellent breakfast. Instructions for accessing the building and room were provided in advance and were clear. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had air conditioning which was greatly appreciated. We were able to leave our luggage at the property after checking out and return later to collect it. The location of the B&B was great - close to the metro and Vatican City.

We wish we could have stayed longer here.

The strongest point of the stay is, hands down, the location. The neighborhood is charming, safe, with many restaurants (though, we seldom ate nearby), laundry service (closed on sundays, btw), pharmacy and a small supermarket. The subway and bus stop were about a block away. You can see the Vatican city from there. The room size was fine (absolutely no view, though, which is not a big deal imo), everything was very clean and breakfast was delicious. Elena, the host, accompanied us almost every single day during breakfast. She was very helpful, giving us ideas of places to visit and how to move around the city, however, if you want to eat by yourself unbothered, this may be a nuisance.

Not much. The elevator is NOT automatic, so is very important to close the doors manually, otherwise it won't work. Sometime others from the building wouldn't close the doors, and that meant we had to take the stairs (the apartment is located at the 4th floor) or explore the building to check where the elevator was stuck, which was a pain.

Cosy place, comfy & you’ll be provided with the basic stuffs you need. Cozy kitchen with an easy access. Excellent location, close to Metro & few alternative bus stops. Near to grocery & restaurants, walking distance to Vatican. Elena the host is helpful & responses quickly thru whatsapp.

The room wasn’t very clean upon our check in, My husband needs to do a bit of dusting, although it is very tidy & nice. But it doesn’t bother us much. Over all We had a pleasant stay.

Right after the booking we've been contacted by host - Elena regarding airport transport / expected arrival. Flat was great, it has really good location near Vatican and metro Cipro, great restaurant nearby - 15-20min of walk. Cozy room, furnished apartment with everything you need. For the night you're able to use regulated window shade which is great, also mattress really comfortable. Host very sympatic, willingness to advice nice places in Rome, everyday asking how are we, how was our day. Really recommending a LOT!

The only thing which might be said is the little dust under the bed, but that's really nothing :D

- Very clean and cosy apartment (cleaning and towels were done daily) - Location close to Vatican Museum with great metro and bus connections and restaurants/bars in the vicinity - Very helpful host Elena, who responded right away when we needed any help - Absolutely loved the breakfast! (coffee, juices, fresh croissants & other pastries, yoghurts, fruits etc.)

No great negatives, just that the walls are really thin so sometimes you can hear other guests (eg. watching TV). But it did not affect our stay at all.

Le Scalette is well located only metres away from the metro which is so handy for travelling to see all the sites of Rome. Plenty of shops just around the corner. . Elena is a lovely host ....anything you need just ask. Room is a good size clean and cosy. The breakfast room is a great addition....where you can start the day with breakfast or make a coffee on your return. All in all a lovely stay....totally enjoyed. Thank you.

Perfect stay.

The flat is very near to both the Vatican museum and the St.peter's Square, we were walking mostly. Very near to the flat is a lot of stores, coffees, restaurants and bakeries, and the Metro station Cipro. The flat (and room) itself was very clean, tidy and well organised so we felt really like home. Elena, our host, came every day to prepare the breakfast and clean up the whole flat. There was a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, coffee machine and kitchen tools, also cold juice, mineral water and fruits. Additionally, Elena gave us a lot of tips for sightseeing, food (incl.visit cards) and interesting places. We were very happy and satisfied with the room and service on Elena's place and would like to recommend this place to anyone who would like to spend some time in Rome. Thank you Elena!!

Nothing to mention regarding the flat and/or the room.

Nice, clean comfortable bed, air conditioning was great, kept it really cool. Perfect when you need to escape the heat. Elena was helpful and available for questions over WhatsApp when not at the unit. Location was great! So close to the metro and Vatican. Charming place.

I would have liked more options for breakfast. Maybe some hot items. Also when we arrived no one was there despite arranging a ride from the airport thru them. We had to call which was a hassle because my phone was having issues as I just bought a euro sin card. But as soon as we called she was there within minutes

The location is fantastic, right next to the Cipro metro stop and just 6 metro stops from Termini train station. It’s much calmer than directly in the center while still being close to everything, especially St Peter’s Square and the Vatican Museum. it’s one of the best neighborhoods in Rome. The room was spacious and super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with both sweet and savory choices so better than a simple continental.

Amazing property with an amazing atmosphere - you feel like at home. Everything was clean and tidy. Perfect location - just 2 minutes walk from Capri station and very close to the Vatican museum. Also very safe neighborhood. Amazing and tasty breakfast. The host is so nice and the contact is very good. I recommend this place with all my heart. I will definitely come here next time I visit Rome.
